OK, I'm pretty new to this whole E Cigarette thing so here's the deal and please bare with me...

I'm a smoker of 17 years, during which time I attempted to quit twice with the aid of prescription drugs, which worked in the short term, but I inevitably ended up starting again. The last three years I've been rolling my own cigarettes because its a lot cheaper and I'm currently unemployed. Now, as of two or three months ago our state went smoke free which means I can only smoke outside and at home.

Recently, after having heard numerous people who were able to quit with the aid of an electric cigarette I started looking into it myself and found that I was quickly overwhelmed with all the different brands and whatnot. Then the other day a friend of mine informed me that he had a co-worker who had used the electric cigarette method to quit and she was selling hers since she didn't need it anymore. I checked on-line and she was selling hers for way less than half of what it was selling for on-line so I went ahead and purchased it yesterday.

So what I have is the Smoking Everywhere E Cigarette Gold One Edition which has a wall charger, manual, a few regular tobacco flavored refills and the battery/cigarette unit. It works great, however, the regular tobacco flavor doesn't really taste all that good and in fact, tastes nothing like a cigarette. So I went to their website to see what it would cost to get the mint flavored refills since I am a menthol smoker. A pack of 5 (each equals 20 cigarettes) is $9.99 but the shipping is $14.99. In the end I can buy cigarettes by the pack from the store for the same price or continue to roll my own for a lot cheaper. The obvious problem is those won't be good for me and won't help me to quit.

So I've been looking into this all morning, which is what led me here, because again I find myself feeling overwhelmed by the various brands of E cigarettes, the refills versus the liquid you can use to refill certain ones yourself and so on.

So here's my questions...

What is the best brand of E cigarette with good flavors?

Are there any ways to make this method any cheaper?

Any other information, suggestions and/or recommendations would be REALLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance to all who reply :)

First off, Don't use the smoking everywhere brand... (Just my opinion)
Vaping is cheaper, if you don't go overboard buying all the bells and whistles. There are many websites that don't charge shipping, and black cartridges are anywhere from $2.50 to $6.00. But those are prices for my electronic cigarette, which is a Titan 510.
The best way to do it, is to invest in a QUALITY device, that has low $ upkeep. Check the supplier forum, there are sooo many good suppliers here. Smoking everywhere is kind of a rip off. Hope this helps!
I promise Vaping is a better alternative... You just need the right tools.

I would have to recommend going to Tastyvapor.us and get either the 510 starter kit or the ego starter kit. They both use the same attomizer but the ego has a much longer battery life. You'd want to go ahead and grab some extra attomizers and some liquid.

They have some of the best liquid out there at great prices. It's all I buy anymore.

Refilling cartridges is going to be less expensive than buying prefilled cart's.

If you're on a really tight budget, then I would go with the 510 starter and some liquid.

Good luck!

Hmm.. I placed my first Tasty Vapor order last night, Im glad to hear good things about them. Makes me that much more excited!

Back on topic:

I know it seems like alot of money up front, but it really is cheaper in the long run. And better for you. After a week or two of buy cigarettes, you could have paid for your e-cig. And the e-cig doesn't only last 1-2 weeks. I have had my 510 for over a year. I have bought extra batteries and new attomizers and Carts of course, But still. Sooo Much cheaper!
BlueGrassVapor, Buy the Joye510, KR808D-1, e-cigarette accessories, supplies, and much more! doesnt charge shipping! No matter how much, or how little you buy. :)

I'm a noob, but buying your own liquid truly does make a huge difference. LiteCigUsa will continue to recieve my business, regardless of what unit i'm using. I'm using a Blu right now but as soon as the extra money is there, i'm getting a Magma from Volcano. I've heard good reviews about it. Better battery life, more vapor production, and you still get the traveling pack. Plus Volcano has lots of accessories for their products and from what I am told, far better customer service than Blu.

Getting quality hardware helps cut expenses, but that initial outlay can hurt the wallet.

With quality hardware you just feed it juice, 100's of flavors out there, and replace the heating element, atty or carto, regularly, and replace a battery every now and then.

So, check out the ECF Library and read Welcome to the Wonderful World of Vaping. All 6 parts. It will kick start your education. Make things less overwhelming and it's fun to read.

You'll narrow your search down after reading and be able to ask more specific questions and get answers that fit you better.

I did the ryo cigs for a few years and I am spending about the same now. Refilling is the only way to keep the price down that I know of. MadVapes is one of my favorite places and they have the hello 016 on sale right now. They also have great liquids at the best prices around. The Battery on this should last you all day no problem at all.

Hello 016 Carto Kit

This is my favorite liquid and I have tried tons of them. it's $16 for 60 ml.

Very Berry, 24mg

Wow thank you all so much for the replies and so quickly :)

I do have a question though, what is the difference between what I have and "vaping"? I was under the impression that all the brands were the same in that respect, but now I'm a little confused because i thought the one I had was vapor also. :-s

Also, the first one I came across was the Blu brand which I initially intended on buying until this person my friend knows decided to sell hers. The starter kit was twice what I paid, but it came with a USB charger, extra refills etc.

I just know I want something cheap, that has a decent battery life and tastes good. So far from what I've read on other sites I can typically get one or two of those but not all three.

Thanks again for the replies and I will make sure to look up each one you guys suggested. Thanks again!

I ordered my eGo from pure smoker as they have it on sale right now the cheapest you can find. Even with $10 s&h it's cheaper than other places before adding s&h. If your order hits $100 or more I believe it's free shipping.

Since you already bought the kit and have everything for it, do some research on what model it really is. These companies buy a generic, slap a new name on it, raise the price and sell them. If you find the generic you should find cheaper carts. Find some blank ones and order juice with them and fill them yourself.

Edit:
To keep price down even further look into diy juice

It's all vaping to the extent that you are vaporizing the liquid. The difference comes in with the attomizer or cartomizer and the battery. The one I linked to on the MadVapes site has a very large battery, so it will last all day. One of the worst parts about the smaller e-cigs is the batteries don't last long and you are always having to have spares and keep charging them all the time. The different models have different attomizers and cartomizers. But the 510 is one of the best. There are many models that use a 510 atty or carto.

The volcano Magma is just a pretty version of the 510.

Back to the OP. From what I have read, Smoking everywhere gold is compatible with a 4081. So if you are looking to stick with that unit, you might want to look into using 4081 parts.

I would suggest a 510 from cignot. It's a genuine Joye and can't go wrong with that.

I have about 12 e-cigs and use them all. I have about 40 flavors and love them all. It just depends on the mood and the throat hit/buzz you want at the time. I recommend you collect them, over time. For starting out, the integrated atomizer and liquid in the cartridge, called the cartridge or the cartomizer is most convenient. I also vary the nicotine levels from 0mg/none to 36mg/very high depending on my mood.
You don't want to limit yourself until you are sure you know you can kill your tobacco habit forever. That's how I see it. Plus I love the variety in texture and flavor.
What we need is an E-cig CONVENTION. Anyone know of such a thing. That would rock!

Java, welcome, where in Michigan do you live? I ask because there is a gathering of vapers scheduled for the 31st of July in White Lake and there will be some experienced vapers and some venders there. You could learn a lot from these people. The Smoking Everywhere doesn't have the best rep. with a lot of long term vapers (sorry to say) but if this works well for you and congress gets their butts back to work and pass the unemployment extension you may want a good kit. One can be had for $35.00 at several reputable sites.
If you're not too far away think about the party at White Lake.
Good luck.
