i like how being blinded by your (im assuming "christian" safety agenda, since you mentioned praying*) you've corrected your misleading "They are both just the battery holders" by editing "one has higher voltage the other doesn't" and yet still cant quite get it right.... evic suppose to, like provari does - provide a *constant* higher voltage (til battery is drained., which makes a world of a difference , so for you after 11000 posts to be still saying " They are both just the battery holder" you clearly haven't learned anything ... now some will argue evic does not stand up to provari's performance ... I've looked at pbusardo's voltage reading, they give consistent output unless there are dual coils involved... but the other factor is how frequently they fire... which i'd like someone to chime into .. i already forgot if evic was at 1kHz and provari at 800h
and bringing mech back into the picture ya "a kick circuit" will make it a vv for sacrifice of amp limits, WHICH THEN ! will be a similar battery holder..and yet still not quite because advantage is still clear that with a mech you can take the chip out ... and you cant with a provari... you'll have to work with certain amp and resistance limits and if your circuit fries gotta buy a new device... for the most all this is like whatever which im starting to think OP might be.... so evic should be like your c-twist with more voltage output capability and also will not drop the voltage like c-twist does after vaping plus with nice screen, and is that a pass thru usb port im seeing in the pics? if it is, its in a strange place.. its probably just for the software syncing.

I tried to read what you had to say, but run-on sentences and a wall of text hurts my eyes  so I had to give up.

OK when I got back into vaping the first APV I tried was an eVic at a B & M shop and loved it (I have written other posts on this). So I bought it, brought it home, went on line, read the manual, watched some videos, and started to vape with it and see what it could do. I was totally satisfied with it. I like the fact that it was VV/VW and and could throw every type of atomizer on it and dial in the performance of it with the juice I was vaping. It was because of the device that I got interested in building coils and learning about hardware that is available. It got my into DIY e liquid and searching the internet for knowledge. The majority of what I have learned has come though practical experience and most of my ideas and have come from scouring the posts on this forum. There is an unlimited wealth of experience contained in the members of this forum and they are more than willing to share it whether you are just starting out or or a "veteran".
So in conclusion I say go for the eVic it is a solid device I think you will be happy with. You sound like someone who wants to go deep into the vaping experience. How you do it is up to you.

I do want to learn all this stuff but wherever I read something I just read all this stuff and I haven't found any explanation to what all that stuff is lol, the evic is winning right now tho sounds like a good deal considering I see them for like $110 just the kit online

and nope is just a charger that screws on the top of the battery, its connected to the ac adapter right now, was as I'm now vaping

So arcebelaced, since the $110 vv/vw is winning for you, have you checked out MVP? :)

(Yes, I just made your dilemma just a little bit harder)

Don't have one but I'm seriously considering it. It's a vv/vw mod with built in batteries that I hear last all day. Oh and YouTube is a great source of info. Try pbusardo and Grimm green

ETA also it's less than $50 on ft. :)

To learn what "all that stuff is" just ask and the members (most likely many of them) will tell you and each reply will have a little bit of different information which together forms a whole picture. And if that doesn't fully explain and or clarify it to your satisfaction go to some online vendors they usually have a description of the item and reviews by those who know of, use, or have bought the item.
One last thing to remember: GOOGLE is your friend.

You know not of the eVic grasshopper? I prey you read and learn (or bookmark for later - there's none of that safety stuff in it):

you forgot to put the word "SAFETY" somewhere in there and a prayer
YOU are beyond hope.

You've already been warned by an ECF moderator for practicing unsafe vaping habits here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/478050-100-vg-flavorless-but-sometimes-hits-nauseating-sweetness-2.html#post10928205

You admitted to using sub ohm builds without having your own multimeter to check your coils, using your batteries past their safe amp limits, and getting hot batteries in this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/478060-imr-high-drain-18650-1500-mah-20-amp-continues-60-bust-draining-too-quickly.html

In this thread you admitted to using a mod that got too hot to hold for using unsafe habits: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/460222-kts-fire-button-gets-hot-4.html#post10907182

Why should anyone pay any attention to any advice that you give. You are a new vapor yourself. You practice unsafe vaping habits. You have disrespected veteran members and ECF moderators who tried to offer you advice.

I have been giving the OP links to useful information as well as my "opinion". You on the other hand choose to troll my comments and not help the OP.

Quite the fantasy read. Though an eVic was my first VV when I returned to vaping; it went on the classifieds a couple hours after receiving my PROVARI

Make sure you watch the video! It's blatantly subliminally sexy! ;)

"Another exciting design innovation is the battery front cap. The eVic cap is longer and more tapered than the competition, increasing the (cough) power appeal, plus it’s smooth! An important feature, as our market research revealed that for a small segment of our Johns the nubs on the ProVari cap elicits latent castration anxiety."

Funny, I suffered no latent castration anxiety with my Provari's nubs.
