Being new to this whole deal, i feel i am being taken advantage of, but again being new, i could be over reacting...

Less than a month ago i was going out of town, so grabbed a e-cig to just try out and take on the road.. Well, i thought, hey i LIKE this, and maybe it will help with my 2 pk. a day habbit.. So doing a lot of research and even dropping in here to read alot, i decided i want to go with JOYETECH products only....

Now being that i Own 2 businesses of my own, i deal in some electronics that tend to have their OWN fakers out there. So i decided i WANT GENUINE JOYETECH, and GENUINE ONLY!!!!!

So i hunted up a local place (will leave NAME out for now), and went in and said Hey im interested in some JOYETECH E-cigs.. And I want to make sure you ONLY sell the GENUINE stuff.. They were like, well heck ya, and started whipping stuff out.. So i spent like $300 right off the bat.... Here is where i start to question.. I bought a few of the 510T kits... seemed happy with the fact it was a tank system.. I was giddy, and wanted a case etc.. ( i did buy stuff i ended up not using lol).. Anyway, my kits were indeed labeled Joyetech, etc... and i got some extra tanks in the brown boxes with Joy on them, etc. in the brown and white (as i got brown and white kits), Then i go back a few days later, and was like, i was on the Joyetech site and see the 510PCC case, i want one of those too, and it is GENUINE Joyetech right???

Yep, a nice case that had Joyetech on it and every thing..

Then i send my wife up a few days later so she could get a case for hers as she liked mine.. So she just went up and said she wanted a Joyetech 510PCC case... She came home with case that looked like mine, but was not in a package that said Joyetech, and just said PCC on the box, and on the case itself didnt have Joyetech at all on it... Secondly, i told here to pick up a package of tanks while there, same thing , she got some that were not in the brown Joyetech package, but a PLAIN white box, im thinking am i getting fake crap here..

Then i had another issue... ON my 510-T kit i bought, and have only had about 2 weeks, every since i got it started pouring out between the battery and the atty on one setup, and on the other battery and atty, you couldnt suck anything through it, was like sucking on a damn pencil, so i stopped by in a hurry, and explained what was going on, ( a guy i had not dealt with yet), and he put them together and sure enough, hell we was scrambling for the paper towels.., lol.. I said how do you think i feel when stuff is pouring all down my hands etc... Anyway he want to the back talking with some one, and a girl i originally dealt with came out, first of all she somewhat treated me like a was telling some big old lie, then wanted to see proof of purchase, i was like I know you remember me, but i did have my receipt, pulled it out, she goes in back for a bit, i hear some talking, and she comes out with 2 new batteries, and 2 new attys.. I said ok, thanks, and damn spent another $65 on some juice and stuff and headed out the door (late for appt.) so im driving down street, put my batt./att/tank together and started vaping, couple hours later, i was on to second battery, a few hours later im dead, lol.. Get home started charging.. to cut story short, the new batts seem to only last a hour or 2, i start looking, and they are MARKED 510-T sideways on battery, and the atty's do not have the wide gold BAND that say Joyetech, and the batts are also do not have the JOYETECH logo.. So did they swap out for FAKE ones..

Sorry so long.

So i think i have fake PCC, BATTERIES, TANKS, ATTY's, etc....

Be different if i wasnt paying for GENUINE stuff here....

Let me be the first to tell you that in the e-cig game "genuine" isn't always best. In all actuality it isn't always even good. Me personally I would never pick a "genuine" Joye 510 atty/carto over a Boge 510 carto.. I also like my e-cig stuff to come from the US and when were talkin e-cigs most all of the "genuine" stuff comes from over seas..

Also you know when you put a DCT on a LT it will reduce itself to a max of 3.7v, same if you were to put a LR atty/carto on it. Its best to just run a standard 3.0ohm Single Coil atty/carto on the "smart" VV APV's. Best of luck.

If you want to make sure your stuff is really genuine when you order it you really have to find vendors you trust and get your devices from then. So many people just trying to take advantage of people out there, thats just the world we live in.

Best to check out some ECF vendors. I could get a SWEET setup for 300 bucks. And 65 bucks worth of juice? That should total 90-100 ml worth, especially if they are selling Chinese juice. Best of luck and my advice is, don't buy from that store unless you are in a pinch. :)

Ok, lets get this clear, you might very well have 2 different, original kits from joyetech.

1- It was until 2011 that Joye started branding their products, and their older models without their logo were available according to the distributors' description, made at request when ordered in quantities above 500.

2- Tank systems may very well be trial and error, only if you use them very carefully they will stop leaking (as in, putting the cart in the exact same position every time to assure the hole doesn't get bigger).

3- For heavy vaping, 3hours out of a 220mAh battery (510-T) seems fine, if you were vaping normally, or not too constantly, then you have a defective one and must be replaced. Try charging it for 5 hours before sending it back.

4- Joye logo on products looks very cool and most people prefer to have it.

I too am trying to start a business so this has been a small part of my research on products.

Wow! Welcome to the wonderful world of ecigs. Before you go spending like a kid in toys R us, start reading some threads here on the ECF. You will most likely learn that 300 bills you just spent, could be put toward a more satisfying experience.

Best of luck on your new journey, there is no "one" way to do it, but you do need to find "your" way and that takes some trial and error, just like learning anything new.

Be well :)

Not even going into about if you got ripped off or not with the stuff you swapped, the fact that they charged you $300 for a slim ecig, regardless if it's genuine joyetech or not, is an absolute total ripoff and is ridiculous

guys, sorry if i wasnt too clear.. I bought alot of stuff that day, a couple 510T kits, lots of juice, cases (normal flip at that time) extra tanks, etc.. But i did pay $65 per 510T kit. and extra for a friend wanting to try as well..

Well, thats just it.. I DID buy from a vendor recomended on here.. I am still hesitant to give their name, but will shortly if i find out im getting knock offs INSTEAD of what im paying for..

that being said.. It doesnt matter if this is better or that is better on genuine or knockoff, etc... I paid for Joyetech, i expect Joyetech, regardless if someone thinks a knockoff or another brand is better.. If i took my truck in to get a new 350 engine installed, i dont expect to leave with a 327 regardless if it has more power, know what i mean!

I also know a ton of people with a ton of contacts through my business.. I have sent this company several people, with them spending well over $1k- $1500 within the past few weeks.. I dont want to feel as if im sending people over and they are NOT getting what they have paid for.. So as of Friday, i have not recommended anyone over there until i figure out the situation.

I get what you mean, when you pay for a brand you want it, not anything else. Could you please read my previous post? I have a good amount of experience with Joyetech and different vendors, your kits might actually be both original. You should, however, ask the vendor directly, or send an e-mail to joyetech asking if this is an authorized reseller.

Additionally, you could just ask them to give you kits with logos... most distributors may have run out of stock on the non-logoed ones by now, IF they are genuine Joyetech...

so, the original kits, did they look just like the ones i showed in the pics? Heck, i was so frusterated over it, thinking i might be getting the shaft here (cant confirm), and i have some contacts from my electronic business, i dropped a few emails about just making a order from China, lol... Hell you never know, i may just do it and start a 3rd business. Not that i need a additional headache, but im thinking of ordering a few hundred kits as i have enough customers to probably move them to them, at least that way i know i will be selling them the right stuff..

If forum rumor is correct and you're wanting to sell Joyetech you'd better plan up upping your order about ten fold and then some.

And WHAT is this forum RUMOR you are speaking of?

Does NOT mean i am planning on selling them.. But if history repeats for me... I got a bit ...... at terrible customer service concerning a HIGH DOLLAR built in BBQ grill i recommended to a customer of mine, and had a dealer install in conjuction with a complete outdoor audio system that we were building.. That turned out to be a disaster for both him and me, he overcharged, screwed up, and did not correct in a timely manner, made myself look bad in the process.. 2 months later, and almost $65K later, i was a distributor to jobbers for 4 of the highest end grills on the market.. Now i bypass the middle man who doesnt have a clue, get good pricing for my customers, and a installer who takes care of them.. Not to mention a successsful 2nd company.. I wouldnt dream of dropping that kind of dough on ecigs, but i could and would do a min. order if pushed into a corner :)
