Sorry for the late response, tonight was movie night with friends and I forgot that. They've just left though.

Anyway, thanks wv2win, I actually intended to ask what mg of nicotine to start with when I got back on here and see that you've already answered that.

I was a long time smoker and I got a bottle of 12 and 24 in the same flavor. I figured I could mix them together for 18, or add to the 12. For me, the 24 was perfect.

The nicotine level you start with in the beginning to get you off cigs may not be the level you stay with. Just like flavor, it's trial and error with juice. So start with small bottles.

Purchase juice from a juice vendor. Along with nicotine, the juice is composed of pg or vg. Some like a combination of the two. PG gives more flavor but can be harsh to some and irritate their throat, it does give more throat hit. VG is thicker, gives more vapor, less TH. Using cartomizers, some juice vendors recommend 70pg/30vg, or 80pg/30vg. Some people like all VG, some like all PG. Some juice vendors allow you to pick the ratio of pg/vg and nicotine strength.

I suspect the Blu had PG as it is the base for the vast majority of juice market.

Being a lower power unit (Watts) makes it cooler so that would reduce throat hit more than PG would increase it.

You'll catch the vapebabble quick enough.

A selection of juice strengths and flavors is always very helpful as everyone vapes differently. I had to start higher than 36mg to make the switch, but I have managed to come down to 20mg. My sister made the switch at 18mg, but now goes for 24mg and vapes less. I know a couple of folks that have only done 24mg. Nobody I know has ended up regularly vaping a flavor they ever thought they would like before they started. So try a "weird" flavor or 2 when getting what you think you may like.

A good set of hardware is the first step. Learning to vape and actually vaping are the second.

Last I knew it was 5 posts, so you are not too far off already.

"Credible", well that depends on who you ask, but since I stop trying to teach pigs to sing, I have fewer that disagree...

LOL, my pigs sing without any teaching! Soon as they see me heading to the pen with a bucket, they start serenading me, very very loudly!

From all of the reviews on it that I have read, Halo Prime15 is the closest thing you can get to an analog. I personally haven't tried it, but it supposedly replicates that taste pretty well. If you wanted a menthol flavor, you could mix a menthol e juice with Prime in a carto. Halo's juices are more geared towards tobacco flavors and they are vape extremely well, at the least with the flavors I've tried.
Halo has a sample pack with (6) 7ml bottles of their e juices for $25 Halo E-Liquid Sample Pack

Well, I'm finally part of the group. Christmas Eve I went out and got mine. It took a while because money and more-so time were just so short these past few months. I went to a store that was recommended on here and talked for hours with the owners. Sampling all sorts of units, juices, and other things that I still don't really understand. I walked out with what I believe is called a Saber Touch. I believe I'm saying this stuff right, but a variable volt and something or nother in there included the phrase "double". I got a few "tanks" and then a few different other things. All in all, I still don't know the terminology too well, but I know how to use my unit itself. It tastes great, although I find that sometimes it burns a bit hot. I think it's the bit part that I screw in (is that the atomizer or the cartomizer or whatexactly whichwhatwhenwhywhere is that? lol).

All in all, I'm very satisfied with my investment. I forgot to buy a passthrough and am trying to figure out which one I need to get for my unit at the moment, but other than that all is well. I even vaped with family on Christmas, and got a lot of them interested in it.

Like many had said, the juices I like are not the ones I suspected I would. I actually love Banana which was a real shock to me, and lots of other fruity and sweet ones as opposed to just tobacco like I thought I'd like.

Thank you all for your help. I hope and intend to be active on this forum now that I'm actually invested in this.

If you get a pass-through, do not plug it into your computer. First it could damage your computer and second it is unlikely you will be getting true 5 volt power.

You will need to get a 5 volt/2 amp USB to AC wall adapter that you plug into a wall outlet so you are using house current. Here is one that costs $9.00:

2 amp AC to USB Adapter, ideal for Passthroughs

I had no intention of plugging it into my computer as I have a 10,000 dollar gaming computer and frankly I'm careful about what I plug into it. Haha. But, I did plan to use the wall outlet right next to it. Do you happen to know which passthrough I need to order for my unit? Or how I can tell you specifically which unit I have? I'd like to order one online so I don't have to drive to Kokomo again.
