Welcome! Oh yes, like a kid in a candy store! As of yesterday, it's 5 weeks since my last analog. Because of vaping, I'm free and never want to see another one.

Now then....so much candy to choose from and so little $$$! I love my 510 and it's perfect for me right now, but I hope to upgrade to more hefty toys at some point. I'm a very heavy vaper and the poor 510 only has a chance to rest when I'm sleeping!

Since I can't yet afford new toys and am saving for them, I'm taking Duck's wise advice and will confine my next order to 2-3 atties, about 80 ml of juice, and will also get another passthrough. Since I work on the computer, my passthrough is in constant use and I should have a spare.

Ooooo, it's so hard not to get all the things we want when we want them! :p

I never want to go back to analogs which is why i want to make sure i take care of my lovely black RN4081 Super mini.

I use the RN4081 atty that I power by a NicoStick/Wall Wart mod (see Modders section).
I order from Heaven's Gift--about a hundred bucks worth of stuff at a time (attys & adaptors). This keeps me in spares of everything. I think my last order was in September 2009 and it doesn't look like I'll need to order more anytime soon.

I will though because of the need to stockpile.

Well today we had a mini family get together cook out type deal. We all smoke (only ecigs for me now) I attempted to explain how they work and have to say this website has taught me quite a bit about them with the non-stop research I have done for nights now... Any rate, I think my brother if I keep reminding him will end up getting off of analogs, I want to sell him my blu so I can quickly gain some extra money for some other mods (SB or SD etc), I think he would have bought them from me today, but I haven't got my 510 yet so Im not going to go X amount of days with out one!

Its fun to start a new addiction!

I bought a bunch of juices from many suppliers - Ive found many I call my faves so I have lots of choices :)
I usually keep about 4-8 attys around (I have at least 2 juices that require their own atty, mints and AC/tob mix) and 4 manual batts, 2 PTs (different voltages) and while I like the look of mods Im not going to get any yet cos Im doing ok with what I have.
My main outlay tends to be juices, and keeping my spare attys up to date (so I have enough) so its pretty decent money wise now for hardware.
Juices I try not to go too mad, but that one is harder :)

This is kinda where I'm at as well. Most expenditures are for juice, only because I bought extra batts and attys earlier. No mods for me yet either; my original 510 and a mega batt keeps me pretty happy for now. The only thing I don't have that lots of other people use is a PT.

I just ordered myself a pt. I've got two attys in circulation and two atty's on deck. When the first two blow, I figure I have enough time to order new ones. I only have the two batts in the meantime. I suppose I'll order a few more soon, but I figure the pt will help alleviate some batt usage in the near future.

I haven't settled yet on liquids. I've been buying a little here and a little there trying out vendors and flavors. Once I have a favorite, I'll be sure to stockpile.

when I started, I got one kit to see if it worked. Didn't want to put too much money into it. I had a user error malfunction while learning and ended up smoking a few analogs. That did it for me, I quickly ordered 2 more kits. Then I won another model and was given a lazer to beta test. I bought an 801 to try, liked it so much I got backups and two more lazers. I now have at least 5 of the 510s, 3 801s, 3 lazers, 1 KR8 and 2 of the 401s. Have extra attys for most of these as well. I do DIY liquids and figure I have enough supplies to last for a very long time. Will that stop me? Nah, probably not but I have slowed down a lot.

I too was in your shoes not long ago. If you're worried it could turn into a hobby/addiction, then YES, it can and will. You have been warned. :)

I started with Blu (2/19), then 510, juice, mods, and now have spent almost $2100. 8-o

    But I have backups.

But thankfully, I've started to slow down, haven't bought a mod in a few days. I would get some 100mg unflavored juice and flavors and DIY, MUCH cheaper that way. At the very least, get the highest strength juice you can find, then go to Walmart and get some glycerin to cut it down and stretch it out with.

ok first of all THANKYOU for all the hints/tips/support & generally making me feel part of the gang!
Secondly, yet again i have to say how disappointing it is that here in the UK we are so far behind..
    Everything costs SO much more!
Fewer recommended suppliers means less choice & less competetive prices
Some of the pv models have different names

BUT i still would'nt change it for the world!
Ok so this morning i had hoped to place an order to give the DIY mixing a go BUT (yep you guessed) they were out of stock of the juice AND the flavouring..
So ive had to order 15mls from somewhere else to keep me going till they get more stock (hopefully later this week) - annoying coz its not as cost effective & never tried this brand..
Oh well, its all part of the learning curve & i am still LOVING it!!

Iv been going for about 2 weeks now myself.. and i have doen almost the exact same thing in worrying.. i bought a starter set of joye 510,, (2 attys 2 batts) then reciently baught another set that came with the pcc instead of wall charger that came with 1 more atty and 1 more battery.. so far i have 3 attys and 3 batts.. i think im gonna wait until 1 of them blows out before i decide to buy another one.. unless i come across a good deal somewhere like if a website offers a discount or something.. i would only suggest you buy more attys if you mostly vape menthol, but yet want to try various other flavors. Menthol tends to stay with that atty since its a very strong flavor, and everything you vape in it will have a hint of menthol.. i dedicate 1-2 attys for my menthol Liquid

It does happen, I have been ordering all kinds of supplies, mods, testing different models out to see what I like best, buying extra stock on the parts I like, not trying to save money so much, so it's not that big of a deal, but I will warn you, it's easy to do, like a kid in a candy store ;) . The main thing is to know where your limits are, and try to stick to them. Good luck, and enjoy!!
