I plan on picking up the xhale o2 today pretty much as a disposable to see if vaping is a viable option for me. I know it comes with 5 cartridges, but from what I read, these aren't gonna last long. Does anyone know if I can top off the cartridges on this model? If so, I'm currently smoking menthol lights, anyone have recommendations on what is a good liquid to buy? I plan on using this until I can get a Joye 510, but REALLLY don't want to pay for the overpriced cartridges. Advice?

Juice is very different than harware in recommending since everyone taste is different. Some vendors to checkout freedsomsmokeusa backwoodsbrew mrst vaporbomb tastyvapor.

Most startout wanting a juice with device to match what they smoked but vaping can replace smoking but not duplicate it. Many find that they pefer vaporing fruit or sweet flavors better than they enjoyed smoking.

To start get small quanties of various flavors and strength (nic level ) some vendors also offer various pg to vg ratios (pg more throat hit vg more vapor) if they do a good place to start is 80pg to 20vg. Also try some different vendors. What you end of not liking you can use the Pay It Forwrd section of this fourm exchange it.

Hope that not too confusing. Other will have suggestions also

ahhh I just typed a whole reply and lost it

When I got to 7-Eleven, they did not have the xhale o2, instead they had the NJOY Mini/Express (Also known as the NJOY NPro Duo or 2N1). This one is a 2 piece and the cartomizer does not come apart. To refill the cartomizer do I just drip the juice on the hole of the battery end and hope it goes in?? I'm new to the whole thing, so any advice is appreciated.

The cartomizers were crazy expensive at $20 for 5. They claim that these will last double what regular ones will, but I'm not so sure I buy that.

you might be able to pop the mouth end off the cartomizer and drip juice into it in a circular motion. Then pop the end back on and vape it.


(and they probably will last twice as long -- but that means like an hour or so probably)

Yes, the Npro is the way to go of those two IMHO. The carto tops can be pryed off, I use a pair of foreseps. Then they can be refilled. And as for the Cartos, don'tr buy em there. SmokeStik(the model that Katharine Heigl used on the tomite show) has MUCH better cartos than Njoy offers for less(ECF discount) SmokeStik ::: Alternative Smoking. If you buy the Npro, you can always use SS batts and aacs as they are both RN4081 model e-cigs. I love SS menthol. Really good, has a slight vanilla/cream under tone. The batts fromm SS are better, but you can always upgrade later. However they do look, and function alot better.

LOL, mouth piece end. Just stick something that fits in the hole and pry it off. The SS cartos don't need much force as they are not glued in. Some say, if the end is glued, you should dip the mouthpiece end in boiling water first. Also, you may or may not have a silicone ring or two under themouthpiece(and a small flat filter on the SS cartos), just get rid of them before filling. They aren't needed.

Oh yea, and tilt the carto at a 45* angle and drip into the filler, not the center, until the filler is "sloshy". Put the cap on, and wipe off the threads, and blow out through the connector to get rid of excess juice.

Also, cheaper cartos can be had, all RN4081 cartps/attys and carts will fit. Goodprophets.com has them for $9 for five(filled or unfilled), and 30ml of juice free w/ your first order. See the GP forum for more info.

Thanks all for the great advice. I'm going to order some refillable cartomizers from GoodProphets and try out their menthol liquid for free. I'll probably order the madvapes as well to test it out. So far I'm liking the NJOY, let's see how long it holds up Hopefully it will last until tax time and I can get a better one.

NP. You can always get some better batts and continue w/ the same design. SS has pink and gold batts for $15 ea right now for ECF members, that is a great deal.

BTW, if you want a PCC rebelvapor.com has them for $5 for the RN4081. It is alittle on the cheap side, but it works. Comes w/ a AC/USB adapter, which you could pay $5 just for that.

I've found the lowest price for 510 cartomizers is $7.95 for a box of five at litecigusa.net. They have worked very well for me (the 510 Boge soft cap cartomizers). Litecigusa ships the same day from Avis, PA.

To pry off the mouth-end caps, if they're hard and real tight (that is, glued on) and a paper clip won't work, try using a fork to go slowly around the edges of the cap a time or two. I got that idea from a YouTube video made by Puff, from Vapewithpuff.com.
