Also worth noting that 100mg is not "pure nicotine." Milligrams and percentage of nicotine in solution are not the same. And yes, pure nicotine is incredibly toxic and seriously dangerous to handle, but 100mg is nothing close to pure. 100mg base is 10% nicotine.

Probably good for U.S. members in general to remember that in EU and Australia (and possibly more) right now, the only way to obtain juice with nicotine is to buy 0mg and add your own.

I have been mixing my juice up for a while now. I haven't gone full on DIY juice making but I'm just a few steps away from it because I can still buy what I want here in the USA. I think all that you really need is a good understanding of fractions, decimals, and ratios. I wouldn't discourage people from mixing up their own juices as long as they understand the simple math involved. Grab some gloves from your local drug store and you're good to go. But I would discourage any inexperienced person from vaping 100 mgs in the 60-75 Watt range. They're going to make themselves sick and probably go back to cigarettes.

I was just saying that there are places now, including AUS, that require purchasing separate nicotine, and if you have to purchase separate nicotine and are able to use 100mg and willing to learn the minimal safety precautions required, might as well.

100mg is usually the most economical, and certainly it is possible to handle safely. I see no reason to specifically recommend someone not use 100mg to mix up appropriate strength liquid when proper safety is followed.

Oh, and right, it's not 'pure nicotine.' The numbers reflect milligrams per milliliter. So 100 mgs nic is 100 milligrams of nicotine per milliliter.

So while I'm digesting mixing info and waiting on new order of premixed juice (was about to order a chem suit with all the "scariness" lol) was hoping for clarification on this juice ordered from u.s. if nothing else will help with general knowledge... this is 50/50 pg vg...no mg of nic labelled on bottle....

That's really weird. Is that the flavor add in or is that the juice itself? How big is that bottle, how many mls?

If that's the juice itself already prepared then I'd say it's 50/50 at 6 mgs nic.

To be clear, there are several ways to describe nic level. So 6 mgs = 0.6% = 0.6 on the label.

OK. That makes sense. You're vaping at 60-75 Watts, right? I go with 75VG/25PG or 80VG/20PG in that range. I have a bottle of US pharma grade 99.5% anhydrous VG from my local drug store. I add that to 50/50 if I'm going to use it at higher Wattages. I think you're face is getting blown off from the PG. The panel on the right side of that label says 6% if flavored. That's the nic level.

Hmmm. Unless you ordered unflavored juice? The label says that the juice in the bottle is 8.6% nic unflavored and 6% nic if 9 mls of flavor are added.

Lol... ps. As far as the chem suit... no need, but until you know how messy you are when mixing, you will want some gloves. Unlike my neat freak counterparts in this thread (jk) I'm messy!

Yeah, even I don't think you need a HAZMAT suit, I'm planning to go with gloves and a mask (nic poisoning is not my preferred way to go, though you wouldn't THINK *that* after smoking 2-3 ppd from 18--43 years old--I'm deliberately not calculating it, BTW, I DO not want to know) but I would be sad to get nic sick while mixing... I'm just naturally cautious, except when I'm recklessly an idiot

That bottle makes sense to me-- it's at a certain lower percentage 8.whatever but if you add flavoring to dilute the juice, it will then become 6 m.g. as it's diluted? That seems like an awful lot of flavoring to add (depending on the size of the bottle?) but I don't know yet, I prefer light flavors so when I mix, I'm going to start small.....

If you like unflavored, you can use just VG/PG, though most ppl enjoy flavoring at first.

You can buy flavors with nic from overseas and have it shipped to you though, right? I'd buy it from a different company. There are lots and lots of places to get inexpensive flavorful juice that is clearly marked.

Hi all
Im left a bit confused after having bought my third mod in as many months
Started with a cheap vaporfi cigaretter type jobby but not really doing the trick for cigarette replacement (desperate to get off the cigs!!) Then bought a vaporfi rocket 3...shat itself after a month.
I now have a fuchai 213 which was recommended to me by a local supplier...seems much better all around but my settings/nic mixture is all guesswork at this stage and reading up on it has just been info overload!
Hoping someone could help with a couple points....?
Being a 20 p day smoker - what would be an ideal strength to mix my nic juice at?
What is the whole pg vs vg about and how does it effect the vape?
What wattage if any would be ideal to best deliver nicotine?
Some of these questions/answers may be in other forums but seriously need idiot proof advice...
Any help would be greatly appreciated

The cleito 120 is a very good tank, I use the original cleito as I don't vape that high but I have used the 120 an I personally think it's a better choice than the baby beast.

Btw it's good you've decided to mix your own juice, try out a few recipes til you find one you like then when your ready maybe try building
