-All electronic cigarettes are manufactured in China and all are the same in design.
There is no miracle product.
-They state that a battery will last 3-600 puffs. Not true. If you are a heavy smoker like
I was, you are going to be lucky if a battery lasts 4 hours. Who can count puffs anyway?
-They also tell you a cartridge will last the same as a pack of regular (analog) cigarettes.
They don't, at least not in my experience.
-Many only sell the cartridges and not the e-liquid, so they can keep you coming back for
more. good for them, not for you. If you went that route it could cost you up to $10 a day
to smoke (vape) moderately.
-Since they all come from China and are purchased by the OEM, they payed extra to have
thier brand name printed on the product. You also pay for this.

How to vape Inexpensively and Effectively
-Batteries
They are the heart of the vaper's kit. No volts no vapors.
Make sure the kit you buy comes with 2 batteries. You may even want to buy a 3rd. Also,
different kits come with different batteries. The key to knowing how long a battery is going
to last is mAh. This stands for Millamp Hours. The pen style should be 280 mAh and the
minis will have from 180 to 220. If the web site doesn't tell you, ask. If you're a heavy
smoker you should defintely keep this in mind.
-Atomizers
From my experience all atomizers work the same and are generally pretty sturdy. This
is really the technology behind vaping. This is how they work. The cartridge contains a
piece of wadding that is saturated with a propylene glycol based liquid. This soaked wadding
is resting on a tiny coil inside the atomizer that heats it to a vapor when you activate a
pressure switch (by drawing) in the battery. (Vaporized PG is also antivirulent bu the way.)
You buy the cartridges presoaked or you buy the liquid and soak them yourself. The latter
is MUCH cheaper and better in my opinion.
-E-Liquid
It comes in many different flavors and nicotine strengths. You can even make your own,
There are lots recipes on the net.You don't need any special cartridges or anything.
Use the ones that came with it. They have resealable caps on them. I would by 10 more
just to have them.
Electronic cigarettes work and they work well. I went from 2+ packs per day to none instantly
and have never looked back. You still get the tactile ceremony you need along with the nice
thick cloud of lovely smoke to manipulate.
Hope this helps.........a8-o

I'm new at this so I hope I don't mess it up. Anyway, I finally decided to order the dse 901. Have read much on this site about reputable suppliers and chose two. I emailed both. Got a response finally from one but they seem to be out of stock. The other never got back to me. Tried to order anyway but apparently they are out of stock too or something is wrong with the website. At any rate, I want to get started. Any suggestions?

Hey Everyone. My name is Steve. My first eCig will be delievered tomorrow. Despite mixed reviews, I went with the NJoy NPro. I was ONLY shopping for an ecig that LOOKS like a cigarette. I honestly will never use a "pen style" as I think it kinds looks strange to see someone puffing on what appears to be a pen.

My main concerns here are not cost, or carts vs dripping (I'll be using the topping off method using juice from Totally Wicked Liquid). My main concern is all the different models seem to be the same product with a different label. That leads to my concern of finding a replacement atomizer. I want to have a few spares on hand cause I don't want to have stop using it and wait while I order a new one. So, questions are:

Why the heck haven't they made an atomizer that is reliable (seems everyone here says they last a month or two at best) and two: What is a reliable site I can buy a replacement NPro atomizer?

Thanks for all the terrific info on the site. I can't wait to try the Npro tomorrow and hopefully get closer to quitting the real ones.

Hello all, my name is Rhonda and I want to try the electronic cigarette, but am so confused as to which brand to get. Any suggestions would be so very helpful. ie. style, cartridges, length of battery and cartridges. Thanks all for you suggestions in advance.

Hi Rhonda. I am obviously no expert as I haven't even actually gotten my first ecig yet, but like every purchase, I researched the hell out of these things. This forum, like every corner of the internet dealing with ecigs has almost too much info for a newbie. From what I've read, here are the major things I have discovered after digging through the masses of info:

1) There are tons of different "brands" that sell the same exact product under a different name. I wanted an ecigarette that looked like a cigarette, so "pen styles" were out of the question. The NJoy NPro was the best. Turns out this is the SAME cigarette as the Super Mini at Totally Wiked dot com (I can't post a link due to me being a new member to the board). However, even though that is the USA based version of that site, it says it comes with a UK plug, and that wouldn't work for me. So, in other words, don't just jump at the "big name brands" you are paying for the ads.

2) The ecig has three parts: The battery, the atomizer, and the cartridge. The battery is the battery, don't think I need to explain. The atomizer uses power from the battery and turns the liquid nicotine contained in the cartridge into vapor. Try to buy several of each (as many as you can afford as it seems the battery life is variable on all models and atomizers last from 2 weeks to 2 months).

3) Puresmoker dot com seeks to be advertised alot as being THE store to buy accessories from, but has VERY few items in stock.

4) Your first kit will come with pre-filled cartridges of varying taste, power, and vapor production. It seems almost unanimous around here that buying liquid nicotine is the best idea. You can then take a few drops of that liquid and put it into an already used cartridge or put even fewer drops directly onto your atomizer.

I find this guy to be an amazing asset to the world of eCigs:

(again, can't post a link, but go to youtube and search for a guy named "igetcha69").

He has reviews, but also tips/tricks and I emailed him two separate times and got responses within hours.

OK, any of the experts can correct any of the above, but I think my research has made the above 4 points fairly legitimate ones. As far as what kit to start with, thats a matter of preference, but I needed one that looked like a real cigarette.

Folks...

My e-liquid order from Best E-Cig was stopped at the Canada customs yesterday and was returned back to China.

I've received a letter from Canada Custom saying we can not order or purchase any more e-liquid from any where anymore, since it's not been approved for safety by Health Canada.

Bad news for me!

I am from québec Canada...

It is my first post here; (hello to all!) and i have a few problems:
1- my first language is french and just have basic english

2-I order a Janty kissbox 31 march and I have no news since...Is-it normal?

3-And now E-liquid ???

Bad news! my mind is "sulphuric" now!

Hi everyone

Im new here. 32M, been smokeing since 17. i want to quit but never works. my Doctor had me try all these pills and patches and im still puffing. A friend showed me an E-cigarette today. i didnt even know it exsited until today. He took me to the store where he got it to get refills and they let me try it. i think it could help me quit!!! Ive been reading this forums for about 2 hours now trying to gather info.

Seems like some brands are better than others. i like the mini / micro ones that look like regular smokes. can anyone recomend a good brand in this style please?

the bigest question i have is about the cartridges. Are they all the same or do you have to use the same brand cartridge with brand E-cigarette???

Thanks for any info and help.

I'm new to the forum, but I must say the advice and information concerning the vaping experience is phenomenal. My first pv purchase was a 'improved' Joye 510 from parked and a 30ml bottle of extra high 555 Kickjuice. Both have been highly enjoyable. I just ordered a penstyle passthru and a dse901 along with more juice from e-smokeytreats and myvaporstore on advice gleaned from this forum.

Thanks guys!
