Is the current coupon code still save5? I'm placing an order today.

On almost any site that has coupon codes, you can almost always test it out to see if it works before confirming your final order at the end or even (most of the time) entering your CC info. Another thing you can do on a lot of sites is monitor stock levels by loading your shopping cart with a big number and see how much it reduces down to. For example, they just sold out of the Darwins again, they had about 20 this time I think it lasted a week maybe 10 days.

I recently bought a 5ml SS VPX Cartomator tank from you guys with the triple coil 1.5ohm carto and have 2 questions.

What size carto do I use to replace this carto with and which carto is considered to be the best. I bought 2 dotted CE2 replacements (One regular and one XL) with it, just to see which fits. Think it was the only ones available at the time. One is too long and the other too short to fit as flush as the triple coil does where the drip tip connects. Were these not meant to be used with CE2 replacements?

Also, I'm waiting on my Provari and plan on using this tank on it. Am I correct to run this triple coil at 5V+?

Thanks in advance.

Any XL sized carto will work (XL dual coil, XL CE2, etc) in that size tank. I haven't used the CE2's in mine, yet, but if the tube is a little bit too long it'll still work just fine

For using on a Provari, I recommend you avoid anything below 2 ohms total resistance. Dual coils in the 2-3 ohm range work great. The triple coils didn't work well on the Provari in my experience, I couldn't get the voltage over 3.5-3.6 without error codes coming up and the vape on them wasn't satisfying below 4 for me. It simply can't handle the amps necessary for higher voltage on 1.5 ohm cartos.

Try the 2 ohm or 2.5 ohm dual coils, both of those are good on variable devices and you actually have some useful range of adjustment ;-)

Good advice. To add my $.02, yeah the TC on Provari is a recipe for frustration but they work better on the Darwin as you can get more juice to it, avoiding the Provari 2.5 amp cutoff limit. I can sometimes get it to 3.8 volts without E2 but it's still not enough. They're better for 5 or 6V mods non regulated or higher amp regulated switches. I'm gonna have to try a CE2 in my tank as I've got so many sitting around. I'm assuming they don't work great since most people used the DCs once they came out. I tried to get Boge to make theirs in XL but they won't anymore, at least until more people let them know they might wanna use them in tanks.

BTW, the mini tanks (2.5ml) are the ones that will fit the standard non XL size cartos.

And my third cent: really only about 2mL fit in the minis and 4 mL in the XL tanks. Everybody always exaggerates. I got a vendor trying to tell his customers that 2.5mL of juice will fit in an XL carto (9mm x 50mm)

Suggestion: Another vendor that I won't mention is putting flanges on the bottom of their punched cartos so the tank won't slip down. It'd be a nice option for nHaler to offer. Personally, I fill from the bottom so I am not sure I'd like it or not.

Yeh, I fill from the bottom, too. not to mention, the cartomator fits the carto quite snugly, so I have no worry of it sliding off and really don't need the flange ;-)
The delrin ones seem to fit less snug, at least mine do. They slide down on me all the time if I'm not careful.

I was really sick for about three weeks. Feel great now.... but nicotine depraved!

Anyway... looks like no more PG for me. Could of been a fluke, but not risking it.

As much as I hate parting with my stockpile of juice... you'll be happy to know that your juice was the most sought after on the swap shop

Now, I have to re-stockpile with VG based juice. (sigh)

Was it the PG that made you sick? I saw someone on another thread saying they thought it was making their hair fall out. Then I saw other people saying it was totally safe.

Nicotine depraved! Sorry about your predicament, but that is one funny slip up!

Some people are allergic to it, but it is Generally Accepted As Safe. It's in everything from food(I think) to cosmetics and on and on.

That's good to know, thanks. (I love to see a good Freudian slip as well)

Hey they are just Horizontal coils that were known when they first came out as Maxx Fusion cartos(MF Style) The dripper thing is the tip that has a slight concave bevel in it. If you go to the second pic here and enlarge you can see it.
Jumbo KR808D-1 Drippers
Any way they rock at low er and normal voltages due to the design. I really don't like them at higher than 4.5 volts or so, but some do.

Thanks Drew, curiosity satisfied. BTW, I watched that video where you called Aisa Haha and joked that you picked up a foreign exchange student while in China...she was funny, walking around with the oriental paper fan... adorable and funny....I think I've gotten a couple customer service emails from her so now I know who it is... anyway cheers, scott
