Well I dont pretend to know the technical stuff like ohms & amps...just want to attach a atty to my eGo, pop on a cart and great big hits. I think I bought every atty 510 there is to get except for the LR one so I ordered 2. Hope they perform as well as everyone says they do to simulate the HV experience. Sounds much cheaper way to find out without having to buy another battery.

Just got my low res atty yesterday and my t tip today. My Tornado looks awesome and vapes like a smokestack. I'm really loving this.

Made a second order for attys just now. I never want to find myself without these again.

New 510 Disposable Kits in...Great gift or pretty nice to grab and take out for the weekend...These attys are not any different then the others, so for a few more bucks you get a couple disposable batteries that do recharge a few times, and an atty that you can still use after the batts are gone...

Hopefully the right place to put this?

I have the Xhaler in 801 and am having some sort of problem.

The symptom is, out of about 5 or 6 hits off of it, I'll get one good hit, all the others are very weak, vapor wise.

Now, the testing and checking I have done. I would get a weak hit off of it, with loose cap and tight cap, then pull the atty off and place it on my Chuck and get a good hit.

Swap the batteries in the 2 units and get the same results.

Swap the atty's and get the same results.

I don't seem to get a different hit when I adjust the end cap, so maybe something there, I dunno.

I have not taken the switch apart yet, because the unit is near new, probably less than 100 hits off this thing, so it's shouldn't be dirty. Maybe I should?????????

I make sure that the atty adapter is clean and dry each time to make sure there isn't any liquid hindering my connection.

I'm hoping that someone will chime in and say..."oh yeh, all you have to do is..."

Anyway, any input would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, that was my next step, but I didn't think I would have to this early on.

I haven't done it yet, I will a little later, but I took a quick check on the button and it is sitting about .010 above right now. I don't know if that's an issue and within tolerance?

The only reason I didn't try this earlier is that it was used very little and I didn't think it had time to gunk up. Still, no gunk on the swab when cleaning. Maybe something was out of alignment and got fixed on re-assembly.

I do notice that prior to the disassembly, that there was a little bit of a stop point while screwing and unscrewing the cap. That is no longer there, maybe the problem?

Anyway, all good, except I can't figure out the 5v v.s. the 6v thing. How does loosening the cap make that work??????????

Probably because the switch wasnt seated properly and the cap was hitting the set screw...Thanks guy...Im glad you got it worked out.

Hey Drew - got a little issue with my xhaler spring - it's partially collapsed. I tore it completely down to clean it really good. Anyway... so I pulled it slightly so that the batteries wouldn't rattle.

My question - can I get a new spring at Radio Shack and if so, what is the size?

Im about to place my first order with this company..... Getting an eGO kit..... is there any kind of temp warranty on the batteries at least? 30-60-90 days? 6mth? i saw something about a standard 14day warranty that looked like it applied to "parts" is that applicable to all products on the site?


Edited: Order placed... man i hope that eGo is as bad ... as i keep hearing... initial cost on this was double that of my 510 mega kit.... so im thinking it will be double as badass too right?

I have a couple of question that I am sure has been asked before.

Can you use Cartomizers on the xhaler?

If so, what else to I need besides the batts?

AND

I have a charger already that charges my 14500 protected batteries for my V5 box mod, can this charger be used for the Batts needed in the xhaler?

and 1 more, the mini xhaler is not a V5 correct?

Sorry just now getting in to Mods, so I am a little behind in the game.

Hey,
You can use Cartomizers on the Xhaler...Im not really sure what kind of charger you have but I would caution you on mixing batteries with chargers...Please be very careful as they can be fairly dangerous left unattended..
The XS-Haler simulates 5 volts with a Low Resistance atty, and a single 3.7Volt battery...

Do I need an adaptor for the cartos?

Most of teh cartos work without an adapter with an exception to the Greencigs, but if you put a comment in the Special Instructions like "DREW SAID GIVE ME A FREE CARTO ADAPTER FOR MOTHERS DAY" I will make sure you get one,,,,Thanks

Just got my Ego. Thanks for the fast shipping. I was missing one of the bottles of juice I ordered, but a quick call and I was assured it would be taken care of. Thank you for that as well.

One question. The Ego is supposed to come with a normal atty and a low res atty. They both look exactly the same. How do I tell which is which? I started with the one that was already on the battery assuming that it was the regular atty. Is that right?
