Unflavored Nude Nic. vaping on a Provari. Dripping with an IGO S. 6 wraps with .5 Ribbon Kanthal. Flavor is clean. I'm tasting PG and VG only. Nose hit is very nice (just sneezed) like snuff :D TH is stronger than what I've been vaping in the past few months. I would say a tad lower than MFS, but with no pepper taste. I would compare this to VZ's first batch for now. I need to add some flavoring and see how that reacts. I would rate the nic 7 out of 10 so far. Flavoring will change my end ratings.

Nude nic with flavoring: I compared with WL Ice. Used Hangsen Blue Cola and Cocoa Bean Essence mix. With the Nude, Im getting a brighter taste than the Ice. Could this be the age difference ? I dunno. I've had the Ice since Thanksgiving and it's still crystal clear, from sitting in my cabinet. I'm really impressed with the Nude. I hope his future batches remain the same. I'm a skeptical bastid, and I hate change :D I do like the heavier TH with the Nude. I'm looking forward in mixing some of my favorite tobaccos with this Nude.

I say go for it people ! Let's get Nude !!

I rate this nic at a 9.

Nude nic's COA of their pure nicotine looks very good. They report their nicotine purity as 99.99%, but they are using non-aqueous titration which actually includes other trace alkaloids and also water content. It is a fact of this method. So I would say they are closer to 99.7% in actual nic, but that is about as high as is possible (can't get rid of all water), and the price for their 100 mg is quite good.

Refer also to post 839 in this thread.

I've had the two on hand (WL Ice and RTS) for well over a month now.

I'll continue to buy from WL for personal reasons, but in terms of clarity, th, flavor - so far, I consider them pretty darn near equivalent. This is a far cry from the RTS I originally purchased well over a year ago in VG (these are both PG) - and again I'm very surprised no one has noted a clear difference in the newer batches, leading me again to think I received an unusual batch previously. I do know that RTS has had two suppliers and even they say there is a noted difference between them - why they would not stick to whichever this came from only is beyond me. Last I heard (probably a month ago now) they were also considering a possible purchase of one of the labs, so maybe this all has changed again. I haven't really been on ECF for about a month, so I've some catching up to do.

In any case, and this is coming from someone who is not a big supporter RTS, but based on the RTS nic I received from Judgment Affirmed (no lot number, but he received them 12-28-12): to my taste buds - so far*, I call this a tie. I do think there is actually a subtle difference, but the bottom line to me is this: I have tried numerous times to pick out which is which in a blind taste test, and so far I cannot do so with any level of accuracy. It's just too hard testing them back to back for me. Now, by "so far", I mean this was testing on a modified (for dripping) CE9 w/Kanthal & cotton @ 1.5ohm / 5V. I'm going to mix fresh batches of 30mg (or maybe 24mg - 30mg is too much for me now I think) to try again. Today I received a mini-RDA and with the stock coil/wick, I feel I'm getting much better flavor than I was on the CE9. If I can finally *regularly* pick out one from the other, I'll certainly update with that. I only had several drops of each left in my test batches but I get the sense I might be able to finally nail them down.

It will be interesting to hear what Cyrus Vap thinks anyways. He clearly seems to have a knack for this sort of testing and I know he's got the equipment he knows how to get the best flavor from already. I sent him about 30ml of this same nic. Unless he has finally moved, this should reach him first thing next week. Of course for any review from him, you now have to trust a longer chain of custody: Judgment Affirmed [someone that has had a pretty clear openness/lack of bias in my opinion and has even pointed out an unfair statement of my own] and myself. Hopefully those who have seen us both around can vouch for us. I think so anyway but you may have your doubts - I dunno. Only fair to let it be known what's up either way.

I did try some titrations finally, and I had a nice "Homer moment": when I did the WL nic, I was like "uh oh... maybe I did something wrong? That's WAY too little 0.1N H2SO4... oh, right - that's 60MG not 100MG" (DOH!)

I used the calculator on WL's site to do the math for the MG levels. All were 1ml samples and I got the following:

Vendor: mls H2SO4 added/ Result (Labeled MG)
RTS: 6.2 / 100.6mg (100)
WL: 3.62 / 58.7mg (60)
GP: 2.13 / 34.6mg (36)

Honestly, I thought that WL may be a little low, or the others would be high, but they are pretty spot-on. The GP (Good Prophets) - I really thought was going to be higher than normal - this stuff has SERIOUS BITE (it is well aged)! My reasoning for thinking the WL might be low (or the RTS high) is that the RTS for whatever reason seems to have slightly more "effect" or "buzz". The slight variances are most likely my not so great testing equipment. Also of note: I've had no further headaches, which I had originally suspected *may* have been from RTS. These appear to have been from the pumpkin flavoring I used in one of the early RTS mixes.

Enjoy folks :)

Hey buddy,
:toast:

A very honest and thorough review - not to mention, up to date.
Actually, the closest we have to "blind comparison" from someone that I trust and respect.

For anyone that's interested - from another veteran that I've learned to trust and respect.

Enjoy your stay...I've been ordering all my flavorless nic from RTSVapes for 1 1/2 yrs and have been impressed with the quality. Long story short my last 2 batches went to a Lab for mixing and they were VERY impressed with the purity.

I'm on nicotine because of health problems and may be for the rest of my life- I'm going to go with "how to best enjoy it":)

There are people on ECF that are aiming towards halting their nic usage. Most are happy with Harm Reduction though.

The first step for me is to transition off cigarettes and enjoying eliquids is a way to do that. The more I get away from tobacco, the less power it holds over me.

Reducing the amount I vape is secondary at this point, however I think when I am in a position to do that, it'll be much easier since I'm not addicted to 4,000+ additional chemicals (like tar as an example). Nicotine is the least of my worries.

Coffee is addicting too. I don't see a lot of people running campaigns to demonize it.

Your right with one aspect, this question was off topic.

On the scale of substances to which the human brain habituates dependently, I'm sure that nicotine ranks right up there with the most addictive substances we know. On the scale of negative repercussions and dire consequences, however, I believe that nicotine comes in near the bottom of that list. At the levels of most vapers' daily intake, nicotine isn't likely to kill us (now or in 20 years) or be a cause of or doorway leading to other fatal diseases (heart attack, cancer, stroke, diabetes, etc.), and it doesn't alter our behavior in sociopathic ways, as a substance addiction to alcohol can.

I smoked cigarettes for 42 years, and that was about as extreme and awful a love-hate marriage as I can imagine. My passion for any other human being paled compared to my deeply addictive involvement with cigarettes. Going even one day without a cigarette felt like death row. The list of negative repercussions (either actual or potential) was as long as my arm and getting longer each year.

In the three years since I started vaping and quit smoking, all that has changed. No doubt I'm a nicotine addict, but it's a relatively benign addiction. Yes, I vape most of the day and enjoy it immensely, but I can not vape for a day or two and not experience any significant withdrawal symptoms. I'm just not quite as happy as when I'm vaping. That's a compromise I can live with. So, I'm afraid I'm an unrepentant nicotine addict. Unless something unforeseen and unexpected happens to sound an alarm, I intend to keep using nicotine at my current levels.

Exchaner, if you wish to reduce your dependence, I'll support your efforts, and if you "get off the sauce," so to speak, I'll applaud you for achieving your intention. But what you feel you should do is not what something I feel any need to do. I don't know, maybe my stance is incorrect or unhealthy or immature. Perhaps I should want to get off nicotine. Lots of folks say so. But I don't want to. And I'm pretty confident that I'm not alone in this. Just sayin'.

No thank you. I'd rather keep my colon than lose a minor addiction to a minor drug because of a false ANTZ morality that's been drilled into our heads.

We are dependent on many things that may not be good for us all the time, should we quit all those things as well? If that we so, there would be so many things we would have to quit, and we would more busy trying to quit things than get things done.

I started at 18mg premixed stuff from a vendor, and am down to 12mg on occasion for the tough times, and 6mg most others. At night, I vape a zero nic because I can, and I don't mind. I notice a difference, sure... but its keeping me from doing something else to get my nic fix, and I'd rather do this, than make more payments into the suicide installment plan.

I also drink coffee. I enjoy that too. Until a DOCTOR tells me to get off the caffeine and Nic, I'm fine with how things are for me.

If you want to get off this addictive substance, then good for you, and I wish you luck. Heck, I wish you all the luck in the world, if that's YOUR goal.

Me, I'm fine. I don't really care for people telling me what's best for me though, so do your thing, and I'll do mine.
