TheThe price cuts we're seeing at MFS and RTS just tell me that the mark up has always been exponential, as they can clearly afford to go lower.
There are many factors involved in pricing aside from the cost of nicotine itself. You have to account for the number of staff, cost of commercial rent which can vary greatly even from one block to the next. Then you have to consider the volume as a company like WL that makes the bulk of it's money from nic sales. Where as I would bet ECX makes way more from flavors, ecigs and accessories. It's unlikely that VT sells even 1/2 the volume that any of the big boys do yet. Not that VT never will be established but it's not established yet like WL whom so many know and trust. And to put yourself on the map often means taking a hit on what an established brand can sell it's premium offerings for. So there may come a time when VT actually goes up in price drastically to satisfy a greater profit craving. If I remember VT nic was a bit more expensive when it first came to market and then reduced greatly to convince people to try it.
In the end you can only charge what your target audience is willing to pay and if you ask to much nobody is going to buy. And at the price XTR is charging I bet there is not a single retail shop in Florida using them. Maybe some of the stores that cater to cloud chasing extremists in NY or CA with bucks to burn might be buying truck loads. I know a good number of vendors and most buy the cheapest since charging over $.50/ml will put you out of business around here. Hell there is not a single shop within two hundred miles of my home that even sells any premium juices like Mothers Milk. Consider that most ecig shops are paying over $1200 a month just for rent. Yet every corner store or gas station now has ego's. So the money (mods/tanks are way less profitable than ego kits) these days has to be made from repeat sales of juice. Those other stores don't even need the ecig biz they just got in it because distributors will hit every store in every city begging for counter space.
My guess is the big boys were trying to gain back some market as WL and NN have taken a good share of the market away. It's better to starve your competition and make a little profit than starve yourself and make nothing. By flooding the market with 1L deals I guarantee some of the other guys including WL are going to starve a little over the coming months. Which is probably why WL started expanding it's flavor selections to try and make up some lost nic sales with flavoring instead.
Well I learned that having any nic base kept out of the fridge in this sweatbox turns it pepperyThe VT nic is um er just as peppery as the first nic I bought - so maybe the first nic I bought wasn't so bad - maybe it was just the heat.
So I need to either give up trying baccys (because of steep time) or heat steep them. the clearomizers I have juice in all taste way peppery now
I do remember asking over and over on this forum what to do but I did not get an answer except - "keep it in a cool dark place" Well if there was a cool place in this apartment I would have, Live and Let Vape

I usually just pop mine in the refrigerator. I find no need for the freezer if I'm going to use it within a year or so.
Do you keep all the testings in the fridge also - and the flavorings? Also 2 of my clearomizers juice evaporated lol

Check liner of caps (it is important). I would not use caps with rubber liners. LDPE and PTFE are much better choice.
Price is getting higher, but this is what we bought: http://www.amazon.com/I-Chem-249-0500-Pre-Cleaned-PTFE-Lined-Silicone/dp/B007I7AINM/ref=sr_1_6?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1411757844&sr=1-6&keywords=thermo+scientific+glass+bottles
ok, thanks to dancingH pointing me in the right direction, I found some that say this: "PTFE Faced Foamed Polyethylene Lined Screw Cap," do you think this is right?
these say "With PTFE-Lined Silicone Liner,"
so are they both acceptable ? thanks for all the help!
