Dang Aikanai, that's the first I've heard of that.. It could be good. 45.00 for 250ml of 100mg.. ($65 for 500ml) .. Kinda steep but could be worth it... I really considering guinea piggin it.. They make a lot of big claims.. ...................

RTS nic is supposed to be made in the USA so I'm thinking that should mean it's the same stuff. If it is the same, RTS has much better prices.

Edit: Also AndriaD uses flash for added TH. I've never tried it so have no idea about how it affects taste.

Yeah I was here at that time.. It definately was not this nic. It was jimi that really let us know about it.

That nic was the alchem nic, nicselect if I recall correctly. Or maybe one other one too.. I think this is completely new and from the looks of it, extremely good.

As trunic states there have been lots of usa claims, this company really have done it fully this time.

RTS I doubt rts is full american thatswhat I mean you can say made in the USA if just obe parr is doen here, like you dilute it in your facility.. There you go made that 100mg nic in america. Extreme example.

Well just to save everyone the trouble of looking, this is what they say about it..

TruNic™ Explained
Pure Nicotine Liquid

TruNic™ Liquid Nicotine is the only supplier of USA Grown AND Extracted Liquid Nicotine. All of our nicotine is extracted from tobacco plants grown in the eastern United States. We do not import any leafs grown outside of the United States.

Other liquid nicotine suppliers may have extracted the nicotine in the USA, but they all use tobacco leaf grown in India. This poses a very serious health risk.

An overwhelming majority of farmers in India use an assortment of harmful chemicals and pesticides including DDT, a chemical that has been strictly outlawed in the USA for over forty years. In fact, most e liquids contain nicotine extracted in India and China, where tobacco farming has no oversight and thus growers do not have to adhere to any regulations. Although it is certainly far less costly to use tobacco leaves grown overseas in countries such as India, China, and Brazil, PURITY is our main concern.

Trunic™ tested at a 99.7% purity rating, and we’ve got the documents to prove it. It is extremely important that you are well informed about where the tobacco used in your liquid nicotine originated from and how it was grown. Being an alternative to cigarettes, the E Liquid and vaping Industries both have their roots sown in a growing american demand for GREEN products. As an E Liquid manufacturer, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety and quality of your product to your customers.
I don't know guys I'm liking what I'm hearing but will I like what I taste?

    That's what I'm trying to do 77. :)

They did make a very different claim about no headaches. That's a new one and, from my background, makes a lot of sense.

Its the type of claim that if you make it its likely based on reality if your legit..

:) I mean they ought to have MSDS and other forms right on their website, I think.

I'm all for doing stuff in the US or other first-world countries, but it really bothers me when a vendor used FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt) at their primary marketing tool. Although DDT is still used indoors to control malaria in India, agricultural use was banned in 1989.

It's not just the nic manufacturer, the same things are repeated on the eliquid vendor's site. Repeating the same stuff creates a closed loop of validation for each other - and however many other repeating the same. Who knows what's true other than the more times a person hears it, the more they are going to be swayed to believe it. Even the most skeptical. Grrrr. I'm imunue to fear anymore.

I take it no one has tried it yet..??.. I'm gonna kick it around tonight, I may order it.. Thanks!! I'm kinda excited, it could be the holy grail nic. (Or crap, lol)

I certainly don't want to discourage you from trying it,
taking one for the team ...?

When I first started vaping RTS claimed they were using nic extracted in the US. No one could verify for sure. Then RTS said the labs closed and they were importing. I don't recall what happened, but it finally was confirmed there were no labs in the US producing nic at that time. That didn't mean they hadn't previously existed. I'm sure the archives still have threads.

I'm not a chemist and definatley don't understand how private labs work, but I was under the impression that a US source for nicotine wasn't out of the relm of possibility. Quality is a lot more than source of tobacco though - so who knows????

Yeah I think once that sunk in I started to feel something was wrong.. Actually felt stupid for posting thier claims.

No need for that. The reason those claims are posted on their website is because it works. IMO that has nothing to do with quality of nicotine though.I'm just glad to see I'm not the only nic-geek that finds this interesting.

Thanks for posting that. I had missed the part about them switching to importing. I was wondering why there wasn't a blurp on their site about it being USA made like there used to be and now I know why.

My last nic was the clean stuff from VT and it's virtually tasteless. Great for most flavors but once mixed down to 6mg has about zero TH.

I don't know about that. I seem to recall last fall I think, there were a couple people here that tried the "new US nic" - said it was vile and they chucked it. Was it Kurt? Jimi? Cyrus?

Dammit, havin' a brain fart here

Several of us tried it, and it was US Extracted Nic from VapersTek. It was not for me, and I often like a gamier nic. But this one to me was just feral. Very strong flavor, somewhat cigar-tasting to me. I know someone who likes it as a flavor addition for a tobacco juice, but I was not fond of it. It was not the Alchem version 2 nic, which is an Indian company. Never tried that one, but it did get some bad press. Evidently they went to extracting from whole leaf tobacco, and the character of the nic changed. I don't know if that is still the case. Have not vaped Alchem in some time.

Whether or not RTS uses US-extracted nic is an ongoing debate. Randy claims it is so, and I have no reason to doubt him myself, other than he would have been the ONLY one in the industry doing this at the time. Others in the industry think it cannot be true. It is good nicotine, however! No complaints from me about it. I think it uses the extra distillation step to get that ultra-pure quality.

I think it comes down to cost of creating a lab here vs huge already-set-up labs over seas selling massive quantities for low prices. China was first, and is still dominant, then India with Alchem introduced the ultra-pure precesses, and now there are Eastern-Euro sources that are also quite good. As I said, I've only had one US-extracted nic, from VT, and they have a long way to go on their product. As it is now, there is no real need for a US sourced nic, but if importing becomes a problem, we will be happy the gears are turning for that.

I feel like my head is exploding a little here.

This is the second company that is using US source nic that's free from various 'contaniments' (not organic) in tobacco as the primary reason to buy their product. This sounds very similar to what happened 2+ years ago when nearly all vendors were claiming they used US nicotine when in fact, they were NOT. I would hate to see that nonsense repeated.

Alchem - weren't they the ones that tried a new extraction process causing their nic to have keresone overtones for a few months? Probably best forgotten other than the lesson that sheet can happen.

I don't remember Vapors Tek's US sourced nicotine in the past. I just know that current reviews have been compared it to WL's ICE, which is no favor and minimal TH. NN's tends to fall into the same category IMO.

I think you are confusing VapersTek US-extracted with their UK sourced nic. The UK is the ultra-pure one like WL Ice. The US-extracted was the yellow/brownish nic that was very strong in flavor.

I never tried the Alchem that was off in taste, but I heard about it. Original Alchem was like WL Ice...in fact, I would not be surprised if WL Ice WAS Alchem.

It is evident that there is a growing number of sources doing the post-extraction inert-gas distillation (like original Alchem was). But these are all from over seas, I think. I am not aware of any US company making these ultra-pure nics.

And there is a big difference between JUICES made in the US and nicotine extracted in the US. I don't think many were claiming their nic was US sourced, but many claimed US-made finished product juices. This is fine, in my opinion, since they are mixing the components of the final juice here in the US.
