Wow good for you - that has been my fear to become a chain vaper LOL I am at 18mg and a ml a day so far and hope to not change it much in the future
I've got both the subtank and atlantis arriving any day now and currently, I'm at 18mg - 24mg. I've heard stories of people needing to drop their nic. Anyone have any suggestions so I can be prepared? I'll probably just wing it, but I love the idea of dropping nic level.

Just finished reading the last 2 years of posts and the first year. A big shout out to all for contributing. I've been away almost 3 years and been mooching about, having a grand time. One thing never changes, sense of taste is highly subjective.
Of the 2 categories described, I have a foot planted firmly in each. I like unflavored 50% of the time. I like the taste when its not tainted by chemical flavors but not at all a fan of pepper. Years ago I bought a bottle labeled levy ( as I remember). It was straight up black pepper to me and I have never had it so strong since. I like moderate TH. When I flavor its typically a tab variant. No fluffy flavors for me.So a gessoed canvas is not necessary. Sitting on the fence as to which nic will be my next purchase.
Jonathon Foulds, MD, from Penn State gave a really interesting talk at the FDA Ecig Workshop earlier this week. His team survey 1000s of ex-smokers who were now exclusively vaping for >1 year (average was 1.3 years, I think). When comparing the estimated average nicotine absorbed from their previous smoking levels with the average nic absorbed while exclusively vaping, they found that the levels were almost equal.
You may buy a litre of something then wonder if you made the right descion for your own tastes. Might consider getting small bottles from all three or even a few more e vendors before buying a litre.
How nicotine levels can be measured (or "estimated") by survey?
I believe those surveyed were also clinical test subjects. You are right, survey alone would not give blood levels. They measured cotinine levels from vaping and compared to normal cotinine levels for the particular number of cigs smoked a day when the subjects smoked. The point is we gravitate to the nicotine consumption we had while smoking, on average.
Most people seem to report starting at high levels and then dropping down. I used 24mg briefly, then 18 for quite a while. Now I'm happy with 12mg.
When you say we gravitate to the level we got when smoking, does that refer to the high level we start vaping at, or the level we settle into after a while? I'm thinking we might need a higher level than we got when smoking to get us past the hump of quitting.
Sorry if this has already been covered. I should check out the survey and see how long the subjects had been vaping, but this is a really long thread and I haven't read through it.
I'm looking for a good all VG Base and based on this thread given the price and availability these are the ones I'm looking at.
Vapers Tek is the one ATM I am leaning towards. Good things are said about them here it seems..
1 Liter U.K. Throat-Hit Nic (100 mg USP/EP) - Vapers Tek
I've tried WL, NN, Vices, VT and Heartland (PG and VG)
I like throat-hit, but don't want any peppery taste or funky odors. The 2 I've settled on are VT TH (that you link above) and Heartland VG nic Nicotine Solution 100mg Pure USP Grade - Liter Heartlandvapes Wholesale
