Been doing loads of unflavored and unflavored + menthol these days, its about 90% of my vaping

I've noticed that in that scenario, MFS and WLR do exceptionally well. The pepper and bite that they give is flavorful in its own way. Some PGA and menthol really bring things to life, and a dab of vinegar knocks down the alkalinity.

I've been vaping a lot of unflavored as well...sort of. I'll drip a flavor and then wear it out with unflavored. Then maybe add another drop/two of the same or another flavor and repeat. This is why my tank is rarely ever used. Anyway...

How much is a dab in 10 ml or the WLR? That's distilled white wine vinegar typically, correct?

I'm not sure if you had mentioned that before, but either way I'm glad you reminded us, good stuff! Seems like I'm running across more and more unflavored vapers these days, crazy how satisfying it can be

I'm basically either dripping (i06, .357 or cannon v2) or using the RBAs (Z Atty Pro and GTank, I'm in the process of setting up my penelope and DID).

What are you vaping with? I tried my only clearo last year and it was a Major taste difference than my usual Bogelr's.

I vape unflavored exclusively, if I hadn't mentioned that b4. I was going to try those new Stallion hybrids at GV to improve the taste, but they put a lot more filler in than expected.

yep, distilled white wine vinegar, I believe it was a dollar at stop and shop lol (generic brand)

I'm using ~3 drops/10 ml. If you're gonna try it I'd start with 1 drop, some people are really sensitive to it, just ask Jimi D. lol

In the vinegar thread the recommendation was 1-3 drops/5ml IIRC. I'm toying with PGA in the mix and in that context I found 3 drops vinegar / 5 ml to be too much.

Fascinating stuff.

I mainly DIY with a few commercial juices thrown in for kicks. I only vape on genesis style devices at this point so the taste stuff is important to consider when mixing. I use MFS, 60 mg at 50/50. I have noticed a bit of yellowing (was it there at the start? I dunno) BUT. I vape at 8mg.

I am planning to buy some more nic sooner than later (though I have 300ml of MFS still) just to screw around on and make some side by sides of my go to recipes.

Great reading and a nice resource, I know all reviews implicitly are a YMMV kinda thing but I enjoy having the stuff here to read. Having all the info (even personal, non scientific, subjective, etc) here let's me vape what I like - and just vape it.

Ok Ive had time to really try the nic juice from Extreme Vaping. I purchased 60 ml of 50/50 mix at 36mg after viewing this thread. I mix a 30% flavor ratio which brings my overall nic down to 24 mgs.

First impressions: Crystal clear no odor at all upon arrival. It was easy to mix. Bottle size allowed for my pipettes to get in and out very easy ( important for me as Ive found other bottle types of this size dont make it very easy to actually measure OUT of the bottle itself.

First day vape: ( on my provari, 3.0 boge, 3.7 for testing )

I vaped the nic juice straight the first day. Good TH with no real taste or after taste to speak of, but nat as much vapor as I am used to. Turned it up to 5.0 TH increased, vapor increased a little and the flavor was still nearly non existant ( thats good )

Vaped immediately upon mixing:

I mixed up one of my own recipes that both the wife and I vape on a regular basis. A tobacco with caramel and a few other things thrown in.

I vaped it immediately upon mixing and its was decent. Same results as above.

Vaped after a week of steeping:

The flavors had mixed well. So the juice didnt prevent a good steep ( good ) But otherwise, the results were the same as above. Good throat hit, good flavor, ok vapor but not as much as I like.

Now I should say that I am a vapor ...... I want GIANT clouds of vapor. I was getting that previously with the myfreedomsmokes juice but as I stated tehre was an after taste with that juice that was....offputting.

So overall Extreme Vaping nic juice is a good base for any diyer to give a try.

Now I have to choose another one from Cyrus' list and try again LOL

Thank you for posting your results Vidi, that's what this thread is about!

So what do you think the decreased vapor production was caused by? 50/50 is your usual mix I'm assuming?

Funny when I was searching I found an old thread where someone was complaining to Levy that XTR 100% VG nic wasn't giving them good vapor. I was kind of baffled, but now this is the second time I'm hearing it. To be honest I never paid attention to vapor during the nic comparisons, even though I'm otherwise fixated on vapor production lol. I need to check it out again I think

I strongly suspect allergy problems with my usual 24mg juice. It's a mostly or all PG based and lightly flavored juice. Things got bad last week so I ordered some unflavored Xtreme Vaping base in 50/50 PG/VG and 100% VG.

I mixed up some of the 100% VG with CVS Glycerin USP and distilled water on Saturday. I'm now vaping unflavored 20 mg 95/5 VG/H2O and loving it.

I wont say it didnt give me "good" vapor just less than a 50/50 mix from MFS.

Now that being said. I did order the 50/50 premixed whereas from MFS I ordered the pg/vg seperately and mixed it myself. So maybe there was a difference either in my mixing or at extreme vaping.

Also, I dont think the decrease would deter me from purchasing from them again. I know my wife thinks Im a bit of a nutter when it comes to how much vapor I want to get out. LOL

I think it stems from a "competition" I had with a friend once. He took a big hit off an analog I took a big hit off my provari and I put out more "smoke" than he did. I like to win.

That sucks yzer, but I'm glad you're using unflavored and not getting symptoms

isn't it amazing how enjoyable unflavored is after a short while?

Ive found that I NEED to change flavors pretty much every week or I stop actively tasting the juice anyway. So vaping unflavored would probably be just as enjoyable afetr a week or so. I may have to give that a long term try.

favor1: I often wonder if I'd cough my brains out if I picked up a cig these days, I'm guessing the answer is yes lol. The only other smoker I spend time with is my uncle, and I converted him to vaping months ago, and I do remember him coughing his brains out when he started haha

FranC: yes its weird, but using it in a genesis with loads of menthol makes it work for me ;)

Sweet Lord... Is this the answer I've been looking for?
For a few months now I have been using RTS nic. No matter what I did I always lack any TH whatsoever. I even bought premade juices at 10% and noticed a way stronger TH than I had been getting at much higher nic %s
I was seriously about to give and came here to get discount codes for some juices I was going to buy.. thinking my diy skills just sucked.
What made me all the more confused was that I used to mix and much lower nic levels and did fine on TH.

So RTS is out.. going to try some other vendor.
