I prefer 60mg because it isnt as dangerous as 100mg but it is still high so it go's a long way, I also get it in 100%pg so all im adding is vg to get to my desired potion mix @ 70/30 ,in that range anywaypg/vg%

Exactly this^. Unless there is a really good sale on something. I'll buy it lower than 60mg but not higher.

I went with 60 mg as a nice balance between cost and safety:) In my mind anyway.

I went with 100% PG since I like a mix that is 80/20 or so. I'm not that picky on PG/VG so 80% down to 50% PG is fine to me.

The PG is thin and easier to work with so I find it is easier to accurately measure and use the PG based nic. Then, using the ejuicemeup calculator, I can add the thicker gooier VG and it doesn't matter if it gets a little messy while I'm at it:)

I might consider 100 mg nic now that I have made quite a bit of juice. I also might consider it now that I my "techniques" perfected. I am trying to save money by making my own juice and it costs less to use 100 mg. Also, 100 mg does take up less room in the freezer.

100 mg is more dangerous than 60 mg which is more dangerous than buying 24 or 36:) I definitely would stay within my comfort zone. I'm still saving money even if I buy 24 mg and just add flavor:)

This thread is helpful, especially with many people buying nic liquid for the first time right now. I guess all I can contribute is that the higher mg nic, 60 or 100, has to be handled much more carefully - gloves and plenty of ventilation, maybe eye protection too. Fumes from these higher levels are more toxic and if it gets on your skin, wash immediately.

I use 12mg and my wife's at 16, so I get 48mg liquid because it's a good deal, relatively safe and the math is easy.

I bought 120 ml my first time of 60 mg on 10/27.

I bought my second 120 ml bottle of 60 mg on 12/28.

However, I am just now going to open up my next bottle of nic.

My results are skewed, however, due to the fact that I had quite a bit of vendor juice in the house already.

On that basis, I would make an educated guess that I would use 120 ml of 60 mg nic making a few 24 mg batches, a lot of 18 mg batches and some 12 mg batches in about 2 months.

The amount of nic base used would certainly vary by initial mg of the nic and target mg of the juice plus your vaping habits.

Now that I am sure I like doing DIY, I ordered 500 ml of 60 mg nic in 100% PG.

All these numbers make it seem so complicated. Start small and work your way up is what I say! Oh and reorder early.

The first bottle I bought was 60mg but the next (and every bottle since) was 100. Cheaper, cheaper shipping and takes less space in the freezer. 100mg makes for easy math, too.

As far as danger goes - I'm not too worried about myself but it does concern me that my kids might get into it . . .but I keep it locked up in the garage in a very high cabinet and never leave it out. They do come with child proof caps but I don't trust them.
