Just got my clone today. Here's what I think, out of the box it sucks big time. The air hole is very very small, lol you'll pop your eyeballs out trying to take a drag. Allen key for the set screws, careful not to over tighten the set screws or it will strip very easily, definitely need to be replaced with regular ss screws. The body is thin so its very easy to drill holes, I guess that's a plus..anyway I already modded mine, drilled the airhole 3/32 and polished the cap its dull looking. I'm going to rebuild it with cotton wick and see how it goes.

Little follow up, polished the cap so its at least nice and shiny. 3/32 single air hole for now, I need to drill another hole for the other coil for dual coil setup. So far, I'm starting to like it. Built a dual .7Ω coil with 2 strands of cotton wick on each coil and it seems to perform pretty good with a single air hole. Good amount of vapor and flavor is definitely there. Once I drill another hole I think its even going to perform better.

outside its the same diameter of an igo-l about 22 mm, inside the deck is 1 mm wider then the igo. and the cap is 1 1/2 times the height. its a beast. the airhole on mine was fine but of course those things they call wicks gotta go. hits like your suckin on a saturn rocket engine and well worth 6 bucks. i got 2 and dont regret it. in single wick mode i actually like it better then the igo. numbs up my throat in a heartbeat.

Hmm..I must be doing something wrong. So I finally drilled the second hole, both air hole are dead on the coils at .7Ω double strand of cotton wick. Here's what I'm getting, less vapor  I would have to hold my button more than 5secs to get an "ok" vape with somewhat on "ok" vapor production. I don't really like doing 5sec or more vape, puts a lot of strain on my battery. Now my igo-l with single air hole, .7Ω double strand of cotton wick at 2sec kicks ...! So with dual coil setup with single air hole seems to work pretty good with the clone. I'll try another build maybe with a little higher resistance. What resistance are you guys using?

I got mine several days ago, took 13 days to ship. I find the air hole adequate but re-coiled mine and got 1.2 ohms combined using 32 wire. I was not looking for sub 1 ohm. Used Eko which quickly feathered but is wicking just fine. Lots of vapor, good price, watch out for little Allen wrench, el cheapo use your own. Allen screw set up seems fragile.

im running single airhole at 1.5 ohms but a single wick @6mm lol. im using braided 3mm german silica right on top of the airhole, on my mech im in heaven with a new battery. on my provari my boss tells me to "go outside with that dang thing - you look like your on fire or something" at work

that's a fat wick! lol found my issue, loose center set screw. I really don't like that allen key set screw. I bought a box of eye glass repair screws from ebay and none of them fit! its all too small, I did find a screw that fits perfectly. The screw from the cut-off wheel dremel attachment. But I only have one

Any tips for plugging the airholes in case I dont like the dual?

Find the JB Weld that has the highest strength. Can't remember which one, but they have it on the label. Wrap the outside tight with a few wraps of painters tape. Mix the weld & then fill the inside of the hole. Let it sit over night, remove the tape, & re-drill to what you want. You can't really see it from the outside.

Just curious, what size holes did you drill?

wyetterp, I got 2 3/32 air hole and working good for me. I do like an airy draw but I wouldn't go pass 3/32, I think 3/32 is plenty. I probably could have gotten away with a 5/64 but kinda skipped that. With 2 holes drilled and facing the coils, so far its working pretty good. Blowing massive vapor now, just make sure the set screws are snug they seem to come loose after a while.
