Got this in yesterday. I could not handle the hit I was getting at first, VERY powerful and flavourful. I built a dual coil 4 wrap of 29 g with ekowool, drilled out another airhole which was a PIA and this thing is rocking. Im measuring at about .6 ohms but this cheap multimeter from harbor freight sucks. Wish my provari can measure sub ohms

That's sounds like a good set up you got going now. I gave up on my sub ohm coils. Got vapors tounge and could hardly taste the juices. I Had a winner at .8 but changed it to 3.2 using 5 wraps of 34 wire each and doubled over silica. It still is a killer with lots of flavor, just not as much vapor, yet. Need a bit of breaking in I think. Now I can use it on the Vamo and not just the GG clone.
I like Eko a lot although it is tough to work with without it falling apart. Got a great Eko over 500 mesh in my AGA T2+.

This is the Nimbus2 that's listed, now. Seems to be airflow regulated. I ordered one and am waiting. Going to try to modify it for bottomfeed.

$5.55 Phoenix NIMBUS2 Detachable Dripping Atomizer - 1.0

This isn't the same Nimbus clone that has previously been discussed in this thread, is it?

It kinda looks like a clone of the "immortalizer", but can't really see the air hole(s)?

In the second view, it appears to have a hole below the threads. Seems like some sort of airflow control. What's got me skeptical is the hole is soooo high. I'm thinking I just need to drill holes from scratch, so airflow is directed at the coils. I'll try it in manufactured form to begin, but am aware that modification may be neccessary. For $5.55 I can smash it with a hammer if it goes fubar.

My biggest concern is the positive insulator material. If it's hard nylon, great! If it turns out to be rubber or silicone I'm going to have to do some engineering for juice flow from my bottomfeed. The SS ERA clone I'm using is great as a modified BF atty, but I want this Nimbus2 for the ease of building dual coils.

Any problems with this having connection posts made out of brass instead of SS? Or are the brass posts ok? Was thinking about getting one if brass posts were ok (I srsly don't know).

Can see one of the air holes on the second pic, right side, below the threads. I got them to update the details on that.

@Juicewon My IE fam there was a thread detailing dealing with brass and I guess detoxing any lead components. I believe it was a hydrogen peroxide wash with something else I will look for the link and post it for you.

give thanks my man! i would appreciate that.

For me it's perfect the way it came. Airhole has a draw about the same as Boge carto which is what I like. It's not super shiny so it goes well with brushed/Alloy mods. I only use single coils so one hole is perfect. Deck is easy to work on, airhole is low just above the deck. Vapor is good, flavor is thick and strong, twice of the Phoenix just to compare. I couldn't have made one my self to suit me better than this. Plus there is room for tweaking it to everyone's liking. And it has good weight but it's not stupidly heavy either.
