No communications with Bloog

Ok, so I must update my experience on this thread because I posted earlier that I contacted them sunday about a defective product and had a reply that they were out of stock (pcc) and what would I like to do on monday and then I was waiting today to see how my cs experience went.

I have been dealing with Chris, and I could NOT be happier! none of my emails did go an entire 24 hours with response. It was always within that time frame. Chris immediately shipped me out a different usb/wall charger (since I dont have a way to charge mine now and have had to revert to the tank) and it was shipped today!


I must say I was starting to get nervous only because of all the communication problems I've been reading, but in my personal experience with them they were absolutely great! So I will continue to be a happy BMF user for some time to come as long as cs stays like this for me!

If they would just Anwser the phone or e-mail or just take five min and post on here, I would be okay,

Kingfish, please don’t go away or give up for good. I’m frustrated by the lack of response from Bloog as well. And I’m afraid we haven’t been sympathetic enough to your situation. I’m sorry you are having this bad experience with Bloog.

I would just ask that you do as DawnsDone suggested (email Chris at cs@bloogplanet.com and include your order number in the subject line) and see what happens before giving up.

Yes, you shouldn’t have to take the extra step, but IMO the product is worth it. As you can tell, a lot of us are losing patience, but despite that, many of us continue to root for Bloog and order their products because they do actually send them at some point, and because of the quality of the products.

I hope you stick around. We’ll all try to play nice from now on. Ok?

Starsong - How long did it take you to get product from Bloog. I am in Arizona so almost the same distance from the East coast relatively speaking that is. I was just wondering a general ball park figure.

Sorry for the delay, was having dinner :) I have gotten the shipping notice on Monday or Tues and it arrives by Thurs or Friday, so that's not terrible. I think it gets picked up late in the day so doesn't actually start on its journey until the next day after the notice is sent.

I have to get back to my own day job right now, but it might be helpful to pour through some old posts to see if Toni has left her personal email address somewhere - I'm sure I've seen it (like as@bloog, etc.). These posts are obviously not the way to reach her or anyone there. And we already know that phoning or emailing the website provided contact info doesn't get results either. Heck maybe those who run ECF itself has contact info beyond what we get.

I have been concerned about Bloog’s communication issues on this sub-forum, with customer service glitches, the lack of order confirmation e-mails, order fulfillment issues (like how out-of-stock situations are handled), etc. since at least 1/29/11. The reason I know this date for sure, is because that is the date I sent a Private Message to Toni (nycsublimegirl) stating much of what I said in my post yesterday.

I wanted to PM her because I thought the issues were too sensitive to bring up on the forum. I was careful in my PM to make sure it was understood how much I loved the MaxxFusion products, how I was rooting for the company, and was only bringing up the concerns because I wanted Bloog to be successful.

To date, I have not received any acknowledgment that she received the PM (but the message tracking system says it was received and read on 1/29/11).

Maybe I should have tried her e-mail address, but since she was active at that time on this sub-forum I thought that would be a good way to reach her. I don't know what to say or do at this point.

Well, I emailed Chris at Bloog (awesome dude by the way) to ask him to check out the post and see the pics that I included. He emailed me back the next day and said there was a new battery on its way to me at no cost of course, and to keep the current battery. Even though I had a little trouble at first getting info on my order, they did me right and I am VERY satisfied now.

Just figured I share that.

That's great to hear. Everyone who has dealt with Chris seem to have nothing but the best things to say about him. I wish he would get involved on this sub-forum.

Sorry to hear your good intentions fell on deaf ears :( I would have expected the same as you did, thinking a post here or a PM would be sufficient. I have considered emailing too, but now I don't want to bother. If she doesn't care then why should I? If she had been truly absent, then I'd be concerned that maybe something had happened or she was ill. But the fact that she's been spotted on here, and drops a quick post about a meaningless change in the website addy, but avoids the more important topics... well that just takes the cake.
Maybe Chris will finish his training period soon and be able to join us. Still wondering what's become of Leaford. Thought he had borrowed a Mac to keep in touch.

I pm'd nycgirl I think and she got right back to me no problem, in the past they have been great as well. Obviously they are under the gun and busy, don’t you think they are just as eager to get their stock, site, whatever back to business as usual, of course they do. Nothing stopping me from getting competitive product except my opinion that bloog has the best of what I want and its important to me and I would rather wait patiently for (in my mind) the best. Its worth it to me.
Folks that come on here and say nasty/ignorant things are ridiculous, don’t threaten to go elsewhere just go do it if you are that pssst, but don't just make up stuff to say like they are gone or whatever...that's stupid. Just calm down the sun will rise tomorrow everything will be as it should.

Now I am gonna go check their site again and see if we are good to go!WOOT!

My own experience was I ordered on I think 1/28 or 1/29 (Fri/Sat), received a shipping notice with tracking number on 2/1 (Tue), and then on 2/2 got the order acknowledgement. That's just a little bit out of order. I thought my order experience was an anomaly or hiccup due to the demand for the 2nd batch of cartos. A bit off-putting but tolerable, imho, for a small company.

I can somewhat understand CS not being present if they are underwater but a few helpful posts here and there would be nice. However, I am quite dismayed that Leaford has disappeared. I'm sure he has access to a computer in the office, and he surely has a smart phone. I followed this forum for weeks before I posted, so I know complete silence is bizarre. I really liked the fact that the company was so engaged and would have bought a BMF kit if they'd been in stock.

Almost makes you wonder how serious the carto issues might be and if he's been busting his tail trying to get alternate materials/suppliers or redesigning them. I'm trying to keep a glass half-full outlook on the matter but the silence is causing it to get harder by the day... Just a brief update or statement of facts would be very welcome.

starsong, thank you for your response. I hear you, and am at a loss as to what is going on. The silence is baffling. I also PM'd Leaford on 3/7, but the tracking indicates he hasn't even read it. I hope he's ok.

I also hope Chris joins us soon.

UPDATE: I got a phone call from Chris at Bloog last night. He told me that my color of battery might not be in for a few more weeks and asked if I wanted to wait or he would send me the color they had. I thought it was great that he personally called me instead of an inpersonal email. I told him I would wait as I was in no hurry at the moment. He seemed relieved that I wasnt yelling, I mean what would be the point. He told me if I changed my mind to just email or call and he would send out something else right away. Im so blown away by a personal phone call that I will wait for how ever long it takes. My motto: you respect me, I respect you. I will post again when my order is received.

well if you ordered while they are closed (Sat & Sun) you wouldnt get an order confirmation right away

I understand this is the modern age and stuff but.. I remember not so long ago when confirmations, shipping info, tracking + items being shipped out next day were not the norm.I'm not saying this to justify it not happening. I Just think it's interesting the offense people take about it. Positive stories abound for CS chris
