No communications with Bloog

There's something erroneous with their email confirmation system because I made an order on 3/6/2011 and I have not yet received a confirmation email. It did not arrive in my "Junkmail" either. I see the bank transaction went through on yesterday so, I'll be patient and wait on the package.

Ok, I sent e-mail to all the addresses I could find associated with Bloog inquiring about my order. Let's see how this goes.:confused:

Agreed. I think there should be a consensus that the current people hang here for as long as this forum exists, regardless of what product you use or end up using. I like it here. :)

yeah the people make me laugh.

....Yeah this has become my favorite place to hang out. And I even get the inside jokes :laugh: I plan on staying til someone turns off the lights and locks the door.

Me too. It's a nice group of fun people that makes me laugh too. And yes, it's great when we develop inside jokes, and you find yourself getting references only loyal Bloog forum readers would get....like gardner's post yesterday on the ignore thread; that still makes me laugh out loud whenever it crosses my mind. Or when people mention that wacky web site Leaford discovered (and spammed) that was talking about planet Bloog with that guy who's friend's girlfriend wasn't his girlfriend anymore because she was a flirt (or something like that). WAT?

I hope they don't shut this sub-forum down, but the thought has crossed my mind that it might happen. We'll just have to start out own if it comes to that. Good times.....

For the most part I do get timely replies for my emails. Ossiana at customer service has been great and has always responded quickly. She even tasted the RY4 cartos after i reported the possibly defected cartos. And her conclusion was they taste worst than her cooking :laugh:.

lmao @ bad cooking. reminds me of the time I wanted to make stuffed shells for my family and I mistakenly grabbed a can of roasted peppers thinking it was canned tomatoes and made a sauce with it. that was about 15 years ago I still remember the smell, never got around to tasting it because the smell was god awful.

If I had money invested in Bloog and was owner/part owner it would be ME working 24/7!

I had horrible CS service problems with Ossiana. She no longer works at Bloog according to Chris.

Okay I just got off the phone with Chris and he said the company is not going anywhere. He is gonna pass it along to his bosses as to whats going on here and hopefully by the end of the day we get a response.

Well its way past the end of the day, guess we get nothing... NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Guys and gals... you might need to just give these folks some time to catch up. I ordered some stuff for my wife last Sunday. I got my order confirmation Monday mid-day, and only just today got my shipping notice.

My read on this whole thing is that they are getting their replacement stock in a piece at a time. That means that they have to inspect and inventory it, match it to orders (piecemeal... as they are getting it in a few items at a time as the factory ships them), package it for shipping, ship it, issue shipping confirmations (sounds like this is a small company without a mass shipping system or automated confirmation system).

Now consider that there has been a pent up demand due to the length of time they have waited for stock due to the CNY and the time it takes to ship here from China. It is also likely that (Murphy's Law), in the middle of all that, a few things haven't quite gone as they expected (life is sometimes beyond our control) and that they have very few people to mobilize to deal with such unexpected twists and turns.

Let's make a pact to give them until the end of March to catch their breath / catch up their stock and orders / and tweak their system a bit to compensate for the lessons that small companies seem to have to learn the hard way and then if we still aren't satisfied... We can start rippin' them a new one...

ROTFL... After all, this isn't life and death and maybe there is a lesson here for the customers too:

"A Vaper should ALWAYS have a back-up system and liquid on hand. We are simply too fragile in our efforts to avoid a return to the stinky sticks to not have the proper back-ups in place"

In the mean time... I'll let you know when the wife's stuff arrives and hopefully have good news on the quality and performance front.

I understand what you're saying. And it DOES sound like a good road to take for some people. However, and I know this sounds selfish, but I just don't want their problem to be my problem. Now if this was a company I had been dealing with for years or maybe even months and something happened I would remain a loyal customer and try to stick with them. But I am not a loyal customer, i'm a new customer. My service wasn't terrible, but not as great as some other suppliers here. One of my products was defective and quite frankly the pcc is so cheaply made, but anyway.... They have not earned me "giving them a break", or "being patient". I just keep hearing about no responses from multiple users, shipping late like above, etc and then hearing nothing in response, its just turned me off.

I found another place with a great product equal about to the MaxxFusion and with a better pcc, they have better prices (slightly) and amazing customer service so why would I choose bloog over them? I don't have the history with bloog and their product is great but really not much different than the other one.

I'll be writing a full review of my experience with bloog if I can ever get it completed, still waiting for it to be settled...

Don't abandon us altogether! I totally understand your need to get some reliable supplies. I don't feel married to only one product either. It doesn't hurt to try out other stuff, you might even end up preferring this more afterwards. But you can still hang out with us in the meantime :)

YAY! I'm glad you'll be sticking with us.

The longer they stay away the worse it gets. I'm not convinced there's any problem with the cartos... at least nothing that doesn't happen with other kinds too. And orders are being shipped, so that's good. So the only issue I have at the moment is their lack of giving a hoot about us in here. But I'm even getting over that, since it is the new norm. At least we have each other... kumbaya.

I'm sure the cause is from them because when I quit using them it gets better. I'm wondering if maybe some people are just more sensitive to what ever is going on in them. Any, going to wait until I hear more and giving my Bloog's a rest for now.

I don't recall what your vaping history has been. Have you tried other brands before and had no issues? Could you possibly have an allergy or just low tolerance to the juice itself?

Regarding breathing issues, my wife and I know exactly what you are talking about, and there's no shame in bringing it up. If more people annotate their issues, the more likely it will be fixed. There's clearly a respiratory irritant being produced, and while it's true that some may be more sensitive, it's more of a QC issue and regardless it's not a good thing even for those that can "tolerate" it.

I'd guess that those who aren't having any issues -- which I find a bit hard to believe based on the defect rate of fresh out of the pack cartos that are rancid and unusable from 3 packs -- are either extemely lucky, or are probably former multi-pack a day smokers whose lungs are sadly too messed up to know what irritation is anymore.

If the next batch of cartos doesn't appear soon, I'm going to try out the kangers from which the bloog is based.
