At least you are being honest with yourself. That's the most important first step.

It's been almost 3 months... and sometimes I still look around for my pack of cigarettes!

My roommate still smokes, and I can now see the clouds in the air, and smell her on the other side of the house. It's scary

Best of luck, and I'm glad you're enjoying the vaping.

Thank you, it's refreshing to have support! I'm just plain stressed lately and it's causing me to smoke more which sucks, literally haha.

Similar story here. Of course i wanted to quit, but i was about 99% sure it wouldn't work. At best, i thought that maybe ecigs would help me cut down a little. I actually bought a pack of smokes the same day i got my ecig kit, ready to light up as soon as i got the urge. But yeah, the urge never really came. In 1 day i went from being certain it wouldn't work to being almost scared because i was certain it would work. A couple days of 2 cigarettes smoked out of habit, a couple weeks of waiting for the other shoe to drop because it all seemed too good to be true, and here i am. I'm still amazed even now

can I ask which ecig you stared with that got you to eventually stop analogs?

Twists, spinners, or winders. Whichever you can find online for the best price. Even just a plain ego battery that doesn't have variable voltage will do. As long as it's 900mAh, or up so that it lasts 8 hours or more. I agree with the evod to hold your juice, they are reasonably priced and easy to use. I had no intention of quitting, no pressure! Stinkies smell and taste awful now after 45 years of smoking them. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Nothing wrong with the ego stuff, but honestly...why not just jump into something like a Vamo with VV/VW? I am loving vaping right now, but I am not sure I would love it nearly as much on one of those. The price isn't quite as low, but you get so much more performance.

yea that's what I'm wondering. Can you tell me what VV/VM means?

Thank you, really. I got so desperate to get off analogs I went out and bought a blu ecig from the gas station. I'm surprised IMO it's better than the njoys.

It also depends on how close you need to keep your e-cig to you. I mean at this early point, my e-cig hangs around my neck from sunup to sundown. I don't know if a vamo or something like that would be comfortable hanging around my neck or tucked into - ahem - somewhere discrete. That might be something you would want to think about

VV is variable volts and VW is variable watts. For me, the easiest way to think about it is they both allow you to adjust the heat of the coil. Arguably, variable watts is slightly simpler to use. But, frankly, not so much so that it is a "must have" feature.

Thanks again! There's so much to Remember I think my brain is going to explode! I'm just gonna pull the trigger on an ego in a few weeks when I get paid.

ahem, haha. Ya somewhere "discrete" 2 funny. I have to have it on me at all times, I think the trick for me to begin is having the feel of an analog. Maybe after I've had more success with the smaller ones ill upgrade like everyone seems to end up doing.

Probably a good plan! I'm sure you'll like it. My sense of smell isn't very keen either, but I still get the flavor from the liquids just fine. Let us know what you decide and when you start. Lots of us noobs around here, we're all learning together!

Everyone is different, but that is what i started on too: just an automatic 510 battery & cartomizer. It was the size & shape of an analog, and i could hold it between my fingers pretty much the same way. I don't know if that made much of a difference...maybe the familiar look & feel of it helped trick my brain into accepting the switch a little easier. But what worked for one person might not work for another. There are a lot of great products out there to consider.

Hang in there underd0g! I am so stressed right now I could kick the dog if she weren't so darn cute! (j/k about the kicking part, not the cute part). A freight broker went out of business owing me about $11,000, my truck needs both front and rear diff housings and the repair is going to be $4-6K. Had to cancel two good paying loads to keep the truck in the shop for repair and I am STRESSED! Did I mention that I am stressed? We are out all the fuel (about $5K) on those loads and money is tight now with no revenue. House payment? Business/truck insurance? Wellll.....maybe someday.

I am not trying to get the 1st place award for the best sob story, honestly. I am just offering encouragement to those still reaching for analogs. My first response when I walked into the house, having just picked my mom up from the hospital and hubby says "Houston, we have a problem and it's gonna be expensive!" was to grab the clearo with my 18 mg nic, a glass of cold water and sit down to hear the worst. Clouds of vapor later, the problems are unchanged and I haven't really thought about a stinkie until I started reading this thread.

The only thought I have had is to be totally grateful that smoking just isn't an option for me anymore. That day will come for you, all of you! I am not special, just another ex analog sucker who found relief and pleasure in water vapor! Best of luck folks. This really does work. And, I wasn't looking to stop either. It just happened and now I won't change it by going back to analogs.

somewhere discrete? You bet. Since I started vaping I am much more conscientious about wearing that female supportive undergarment even during lounging. Great place for a PV and close to my heart. I have even gone as far as order the Genie bra for comfort of vaping support! LOL. What a thing to share on a forum, but damn it, it is the truth! I do hope this is not in violation of any of the forum rules....

Oh my you poor dear, that is a full plate! I couldn't even imagine having that whole ordeal thrown at me without analogs. And don't even fret about unloading here, this is what we are all ment to do, support one another and listen. What happened to your mum? Isn't there any other way of getting a "loaner" or rental to take the loads? Idk just throwing out ideas. Shouldn't the shop had given you a few days heads up about how long it the repairs would take?
Anywho, I'm glad you shared here and even more glad you DIDN'T reach for the stinkies lol.

I was on about 20 a day. First week of vaping i went down to 3. One after each meal.
In the second week I was on zero cigarettes a day. Have had one in the last month.
Eventually your cigs will taste like ..... and you'll start putting them our sooner than their done.

that's awesome! So glad to hear you've been successful. It gives us hope and something to keep reaching for when we hear about ecigs/mods getting people away from those darn analogs. Good on ya mate ;)
