I'll give no love to the newer KFL design that I have reserved for a beautiful genisis atty.

The genny atty will vape spectacularly and isn't particularly difficult to modify if you so desire. Smaller or larger wick or wick hole, no problem. Short or long coil, no problem. Reduced chamber, not a problem. Air inlet smaller than you like, no problem. Inlet bigger than you like, you can fix that too.

Best thing is, they are simple, and don't generally have special parts that can't be made locally just about anywhere in the world.

Did I mention they are pretty good looking as well.

when i started with rebuilding my first genny was an RSST. I was content with it other than it leaking alot and was told that was just the nature of the beast with genny atomizers. I always sit my mod on its side while im driving so it was really inconvenient for me. My girlfriend then bought a kayfun lite + for me and I was so happy that it was basically leakproof unless you held it upside down for a period of time. i cant say that the vape quality was much better however. I only switched because of the leaking situation. I have not touched my RSST in about a year now.

I just bought an HCigar Prometheus. Wanted to see what a genny was like. Will receive it next week. Looking forward to trying it out. To date I have been using Kayfun, Taifun and Fogger RBAs. Really like them all but I think I like the Fogger V2 the best. V3 is too heavy and V4 has crappy airflow.

This whole "I don't like gennys cause they leak" crap is another way of saying I don't like gennys cause I haven't learned how to build a decent wick and coil.....we all smoked cigs.....we all learned after awhile to be aware of where the coal of the cigarette was so we didn't burn ourselves or other people, we learned to be aware of the length of our ash.....so now you can't learn how to set down a genny right......how do you manage walking and chewing gum at the same time.
I don't know why people can't just say ...hey i am a ham fisted tool, that doesn't like the difficulty of building on a genny.

Hey, i resemble that remark lol!! I *heart* my Aga T-2 with the stock wick-hole. I fell in love with it, after i took it apart and reassembled it about 8,976 times, trying to get an optimal build with mesh. You gotta have the patience of Job to start messing with these things, without driving yourself bonkers.

Don't sweat it, Annie..... Keep at it and ignore static around you. The 8977th build will be the one to beat all!! After all.... you are a Buckeye and Buckeyes never quit..... right? :D

I'm getting a kick out of people who hate AGA's and can't get them to work. I started with AGA. Just now trying Pulse and Kraken, I'm having problems getting them to work right. I absolutely hate the washers on the Kraken. Both are hard for me to get to stop shorting. Kraken leaks (I think because my single wick hole is threaded).
Sounds just like someone who complains about AGA doesn't it?
It's a matter of what you're used to and a user problem.

The good thing is I can ream out the Kraken wick hole, take some off the washers and make it work like an AGA (I'm not sure what's up with the Pulse).

I've had my KFL set up with mesh for quite a while now. I still don't enjoy it as much as my gennies. It's not so much about flavor and vapor; which both are good. It's all about re-filling it and maintaining the coil. It's just so much fuzz. The KFL simply does not give me anything I don't get (even better) from my gennies. So why put up with the fuzz?

It's been back to doing what it does best for a couple of weeks now... which is collecting dust. I'm still eager to see what the next generation of Kayfuns come up with, tho. Pyrex tank, accessible coil and easy to re-fill... and I'll give it a try.

That bottom fill having to take them off the mod is what has kept me from a KF. People complain about destroying threading? It's because you constantly screw on and off, eventually you cross thread these super fine threads.

People destroy threads because they have O-Rings that are too tight on their attys and they take their caps on and off all the time, that's way me common.

As for the pulse, what problems are you having? Have you tried it with cotton, or yarn, I have 5 pulse gennys all between 0.5 0hm and 0.70hm all with cotton, single twisted 28ga microcoil and the reducer, I think it's the best genny ever and I have lots of others.
If you have any questions shoot, I'll get you going.
Here's a couple of pics

This last pic is the best setup I've ever had in a genny is the twisted 28ga @ 0.5 0hm, killer.!

My problem with the Pulse and the Kraken is shorting. Of course if I used something other than mesh that would be fixed :)
I want the toughness of mesh.

Even now that the Pulse wick is well broken in it still has a shorting problem when I clean it. It's OK if I bump the short out of it and just vape. I did get some 4mm ekowool to try in gennies.

I just got an RSST and have been reading threads about gennies and all. I'm using cotton as I don't have a torch yet. Works for me as it is. I get the seepage down the center but no leaks. I have it on a iTaste VV V3 which is a square tube. I can lay it down with the air hole up. I'm going to try coil rubbers on the center post or buy the AGA ones from Kidney Puncher.

Well, hey of course they're gonna drive you bonkers......often..... that's why they're called genheads. Then one day you master them.

Do you have the Pulse g or the clone...i've owned the original pulse G for six months, and it's never given me a single problem...best genny I've ever built on.

where is this...I'd like to see that I mean Busardo is friends with Zen.

It is on one of his genesis atty reviews-- i don't know if it is the Did one or the Aga vids. He says something to the effect of 'you (genesis users) are some patient m$&:;f;&$/:;s.

I know, he like, barbeques with 'Zen', right? I think they are located up in Buffalo way somewhere
