Non-RBA atomizer question from a noob

I am in love....with my mini (just a mini not a point anything). It meets ALL my needs....okay maybe not all...but as far as vaping goes, it's the be-all and end-all.

I'm not into RBAs. But I do wonder which atomizer y'all might use. Bridged? Bridgeless? I have several and the one I'm happiest with at the moment is the Empire mods 510 1.5. BUT....am I missing something? I've only been vaping for 8 weeks and have a lot to learn. I see so many LR attys out there and feel like I could use some advice from you.

Thanks so much.

Sorry, I misread your question.

Welcome to the REO lounge. Your question is a very subjective one and your personal preference will differ from the next person. I personally would go with either, just try using different brands until you reach the right one. I'm sure after a while you'll like the RBA's better anyway. :)

I love my Mini (point nothing. :)) and always used LR 1.5 ohm attys. I usually got mine from Tulsa Electronic Cigarettes and supplies | Batteries, atomizers, cartomizers, e-Liquid and more! in bulk at $46.95 for 10 attys...because they were cheap and good. They're genuine Joye attys, but I don't know how important that is. If you like what you're using, then use 'em. There are many options out there....but it's really subjective as to what is "better." I think that if you've found something you like, yay.

If you like cartomizers at all, the Mini will do great with them, too. I really like the Smoktech 1.7 ohm super shorty cartos. They are shorter and have a little less filler in them to interfere with taste. They're very handy on my Mini....I can just drop it in my purse and never worry about a leak of any kind. Handy.

I used my Mini exclusively for a long, long time until I got into rebuildables. Now I have the best of both worlds because I have a rebuildable that fits the Mini. The only thing I've ever found that I don't love about the Mini is the lack of battery life....and I really don't mind that; I just carry an extra battery or two.

Congratulations and welcome!!!!!

This calls for a banana dance!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

As far as atty's go there's a wide variety of opinions. Many prefered the Cisco atty from avid as well as the hh357 or even the plain old joye. Experiment and see what you prefer. All worked very well imo with subtle differences between all. Prices are very different between them though. many have since moved on to rba's , including myself.

Good luck!!! Either way you go with the REO vapeing is about to get a whole lot easier.

I've used almost all the attys out there at one time or the other and the atty you're using now is the best I've found--especially for the price. Now then, to be completely fair, I confess I was only introduced to this atty about a month ago and it'll be awhile before I can attest to its longevity. For now, it is my favorite.

Thanks to all you guys ^. Everybody keeps saying I'll eventually give in and get into RBA'ing, but don't you have to be able to actually SEE the parts? I've only had my baby for 3 days and I'm smitten.

As was noted, keep doing whatever keeps you going. But that said, if it's significant, I have 67 yr old eyes with glasses that leave a lot to be desired. Even so, I have no trouble making a coil for my RBA (REO "RM2") withOUT the use of the magnifying light I purchased thinking I would need it. Bifocals and a good desk lamp is all I need.

I bought 6, HH 357's once... 4 of them lasted less than 2 days each. (Followed Hanna's video exactly.) They replaced 2 of the 4.

Thank God for RBA's.

(Throw a Killer in a $25 Pyrex tank and you have the same thing as their new $120 AMP tank without having to constantly replace $20 HH 357's.)

Of course you can avoid all of that with a Reo and a RBA but sometimes you like to walk on the wild side... or use those $200 Provari' ya got laying around.

Puffer, based on your picture I never would have guessed you were a day over 60, 61 tops. (If you keep smokin' that pipe it's gonna kill ya though.)

Jack

The pipe is just an "accessory", adds to my feigned air of respectability :) I had to do *something* to offset the hat afterall!
