It's interesting that a 2mg difference could be that noticeable. I can tell the difference between my 16 and 12 (the strangths I usually make), but that's usually after a good ml of juice or so. But, as most have said, I usually don't worry too much about 1 or 2 mg difference either way. I think buying premixed would be fine after adding flavor. That's just me though. Good luck everyone on your DIY adventures!

I am curious if anyone else knows more about mt baker vapor?

They are as close to local as I can get. Ordering some pre-made nic might be a good way for me to go.

also if you buy pre-mixed in the strength you need and then add flavoring, I thought that would dilute it and mess up the final equation.

is that not correct?

I am sure if you really searched hard and hit the deals and steals thread like an extreme couponer, you could find cheaper eJuice or specific nic blends, but shipping will be more than someone close by. But overall he is pretty cheap on his juice prices. He has also been throwing in free 15ml sample bottles, so I get to try flavors I never wold have bought before (like the RY4 and buttered popcorn, both of which I found I really love).

I wasn't vaping a year ago to know what Mt Baker had available, but his juice selection is pretty good right now. Good enough I don't see a need to go anywhere else at his prices. And he ships fast (Last Sunday's order I got the shipping notice Monday at 10:00am).

I normally run with 24mg nic juice, but knowing it was going to get "watered down" with flavoring, I ordered the 36mg strength and then I add about 25% of various flavors (so 75% is 36mg nic juice). What exact mg strength that works out to? I don't know, but I am sure it is stronger than 24mg, but probably around 30mg (and certainly less than 36mg), and I really don't notice much difference from the regular 24mg stuff I vape.

going to be trying some vaping zone flavors soon. I have a B-day coming up, so that may be what I get. I also want to try some gingerbread flavors and koolada from ecigexpress. coolness without the mint sounds divine. I got some Jamaican Ginger Mint at the Birmingham WVD gathering that a member was giving away and it is AWESOME. I think I may have finally found a flavor I can vape all day that is not tobacco, not like it was a goal of mine or anything but... it's goood.

Well, I just ordered some nic and a couple of flavors. I'll poke around locally for some various syringes, glass bottles, VG, and PG.

I'm kind of excited. :)

Good to hear!!!!!!!!!! This calls for a banana dance!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I started DYI right before you started this thread and have been loving it and have saved a ton of money. I had'nt bought any pre-made juice sence the 3rd of January... Until Yesterday I had to buy a bottle of Ejoker yesterday from BWB sence its been discontinued. Now that its gone I don't really see me buying pre-made ever again.

Good Luck lets know what you think!!!!!!

I have been mixing and vaping the Vaping Zone - DIY Flavoring Alcohol Base flavors and they are just superb. In fact I just placed yet another order a few minutes ago and can hardly wait. I made a Cherry Tobacco using these flavors that is my main all day vape and I also made a Menthol Tobacco that really hits the spot. And yes, Sammy, I snuck some Koolada in there and it is so nice. There is a thread that is over 100 pages now that has tons of reviews.

Vape on!

So do you actually use alcohol in your mix? Like vodka? or Rum?

I'm sure some would say the alcohol "cooks off" from the heat of the vaporizer, but even if it does, where else would it cook off but into the vapor that is inhaled? I wonder if you can get drunk from this?

Not possible. The alcohol is used in such small proportion to the base that even drinking the juice wouldn't get you a buzz.

The alcohol in the Vaping Zone - DIY Flavoring Alcohol Base flavors is used to carry the flavors, as opposed to pg as most flavor houses use. It is a very small amount that could never be felt in an intoxicating way.

And yes, I do use alcohol when I mix flavors. I vape 100% vg as I am sensitive to pg and feel not so good at all when I vape that stuff. The vg is fairly thick and I use some pga to thin it down so it flows into the cartomizer better. I use Everclear 151 (can't get the stronger stuff here in California) and find it works well.

In order to relieve stress and celebrate the day I use Vitamin V. Some call it Vodka. I mix this with any number of mixers and serve over ice.

Yeah, pretty much all the reviews are favorable, which is unheard of for flavoring. peoples tastes differ so much it is hard to find a flavoring everyone agrees is good. I am all over this one. My only dilemma is which flavors to try... there are too many that people really like. I think I have narrowed it down though. What I like i that people say that the flavors are good as a stand alone. I havent had any flavors yet that are good at a stand alone, they always need something else to round them out. We shall see what they have, the good thing is they are quite popular now, meaning the flavor scientists are making enough money to keep producing them. :) I will say one thing, if they are good flavors to me, it will be the only thing vape related to come out of china that I really like, aside from mod batteries

I have played with quite a few of these flavors so perhaps I can assist in helping you find a flavor or 4 you really like. What do you like? Tobaccos? Fruit vapes? Coffee vapes?

LOL In the hospital vitamin V means Valium

but as far as pharmacologic action, valium pretty much = alcohol, so touche :)

Well I usually like tobaccos with a little something on top, like bobas bounty, tiki juice, Havana gold from ave, my homemade vanilla cuban. The shisha flavor sounds intriguing, and the French pipe, and black and mild. Aside from that I dont know. I also sometimes prefer a cig flavor such as ave's c&d. I appreciate the help:)
