I work in a kitchen...so, because of the health code, we have to go outside to "smoke". Anyway...when I first started vaping, my exec. chef and my sous chef gave me a hard time about it, both being smokers themselves. Not a hard time in a bad way...but in a funny haha way. Anyway...sous chef quit smoking and exec. chef wants to quit but hasn't been able to... Today exec. chef and I were outside while I was puffing on my PV and he was having a smoke...conversation went as follows:
"so...have those helped you?"
"*grins* quite a bit...the man and I still have our last half pack of camels sitting on the window, untouched"
"really? from day one? and you haven't wanted it?"
"nope. I've gotten curious because I hear about how bad they taste and I want to know how they taste/why the hell i smoked them in the first place...but i've never acted on that curiosity or even really had the urge to smoke one...they're more or less just part of the clutter/a trophy. I haven't even found out what my 'trigger' could be. Haven't had a desire to have one at all"
"ah...*puff puff...silence* ... er...so...how much did that cost? cause, yaknow, wolfer had one that he payed over a hundred for (njoy) and he went back to smoking when it kinda broke"
"yea...i know...he probably should have stuck with it and bought one of mine...i payed less that 50 for mine"
"REALY? And that's supposed to be a better model?"
"yea."
"Where did you get it?"
"I bought a few kits from china and a few from a supplier out here"
"there's suppliers out here?"
At that point...someone called for him in the kitchen for help...
Point is...I'm liking his curiosity...at first, as a smoker, (and the fact that another co-worker had a PV and it was more of a "toy") he was a bit skeptical, but now he's asking me more questions and he seems a bit "jealous", in a way, of the sous chefs quitting/the lack of people to "smoke" with outside now.
