While talking to a friend I haven't seen in a while, he lit up a cigarette. The conversation developed into how I quit smoking and started vaping. I was a heavier smoker than he is and was amazed that I was able to quit analogs. I offered to let him try my vamo with a protank, and he offered me a cigarette. At first I declined and said I have no desire for it, but after a few minutes I gave into peer pressure and lit up. I just then realized it was the first cigarette I smoked in months. It smelled awful, tasted awful and gave me no satisfaction at all. I didn't finish it and was thankful I discovered vaping. My friend loved the flavor of the juice I was vaping and I offered to get him started on vaping.

Out of curiosity will you take an analog if offered ?

Well this actually happened to me this past weekend. Went to the casino with a friend and we wound up being there for hours because we were winning . His ecig battery died and I was on my last battery and didn't bring my charge pack -- BIG mistake. Being in a casino and being a former smoker do not mesh well. So he goes and buys a pack of cigs ($15 friggin bucks mind you) and offers me one --I say no I still have my ecig. A couple minutes later it's dead so I take him up on the offer. Boy that cigarette tasted like ........but i smoked it --and then another and another. Needles to say I smelled like an ashtray and felt like crap when I left there. But the remainder of the cigs went in the garbage and I ran home and got a fresh battery and vaped away. Have NO desire for a cig at all.

The moral of this story is make sure your battery outlasts what you are going out to do -- and after vaping for 3 months now when I smoked the other night I realized just how disgusting it really is.

I smoked occasionally the first 6 months i was vaping. Maybe one every couple weeks. Every time i smoked one, it tasted like garbage. And like another poster said, it gave me no satisfaction at all.

After experiencing that several times, i decided it was pointless and just stopped doing it. If somebody offered me one now, I'd decline. In order for it to become satisfying again, I'd have to smoke-several a day to kill off my taste buds. No thanks. Not worth it. It took awhile, but I'm over cigarettes.

I smoke at work sometimes. I don't know why. I think I want to, I light a cigarette and it's gross, and I wish I hadn't, but I still do it sometimes. I just can't break the habit of wanting to go out back and smoke with my cooks. When I finish I wash my hands and mouth, rinse out my mouth to get the taste out and vape to get the good taste back.
I hope I can stop thinking I will enjoy cigarettes soon.

Haven't experienced that situation, but I did encounter a similar situation. I work 12 hour shifts at night and my set up and battery were out. I forgot my backup and charger at home. I still had my security blanket of 6 stinkies on me, but I refused to cave in. Went almost 7 hours and when I got home....set up....juice.....heaven. Guilt, failure, pride.....these are the things that keep me from going back. It's not the ones you smoke, but the ones you don't. For those that chose to light one up every once and a while. vape on
