Oh no question Corp American is not totally evil. They do need to pay there fair share of taxes. Also its about jobs over the last 30 years Corps have a net 0% of adding employment. They cut as many as they hire. It's SMB that adds 70-80% of the workforce and we all know where the other 20-30% is yep government. local,state and feds. This is an old study so it maybe have changed some over the years but you get the idea. The problem is SMB dont have the funds to bribe i mean donate buying there local, state or fed politician. They also don't get to write the national law like Corps do. Got to admit that can come in handy :)

I work for one of these corp giants some great people work in our company. Not sure what happens but it does happen.

I

It comes from SMB's and the 5%ers OTR :)

Oh, I understand the feeling Dee and it's easy to pick on them.... But let's take a look at a few.

Google, Bing (MS) and Yahoo. My customers and many SMB's (small / medium size businesses) have grown they're businesses thru Search advertising..... A LOT !!! Along with the ancillary businesses that support those Corps.

How 'bout Ford, GM, Chrysler. How many auto repair, body, parts, wrecker and accessory businesses are in this country because of these Corps. We can go on and on... This notion that Corps are bad is just is rubbish in my opinion ( I'm not so humble).

Like anything, they do things we like and things we don't. It doesn't make them evil or bad. And like everything in this country, including this country itself, we do a LOT more good than we do bad.

:2c::2c:

* That's my 4¢ *

Back to the weather....... I hope you are all safe thru the storm.

Nicest thing about snow is we don't get any. :D Sustained a lot of wind damage here today. took out some tree limbs. Sure glad I had that big oak over my well trimmed last week. Temps have been steadily falling all day and a gusty west wind that even managed to damage my gate opener. Got the wood stove simmering and will have all week next week until Friday at least. Time to set some beef stew on it and use it like a crock pot lol. Chilli is sounding good too.

LOL, we actually like it when we get a few inches. It happens very rarely but, it is very pretty and fun for the kids to play in.

Looks like an additional 1-3 then.

I wanna move! lol

1-3 inches? Or feet?

I grew up in NE Ohio. Right on lake Erie. Never got above zero in the winters and we typically had to dig our way out of the front door lol Not sure how I ever lived that way except that it was all that I knew until I moved south. Probably could not survive those Winters again at this point.

I liked it just fine when I was a kid. Too little to drive or shovel it. Not so much as an adult. Besides, it's got to be too dang cold for it. I don't think I'd survive a winter up there now. Ain't gonna find out either lol.

Yeah but, the nice thing about the south is that there is never enough to shovel and everything shuts down so no real reason to drive in it :) Heck, many people get a day off work or school too.

I heard sunny and mild tomorrow....mild enough and I may cut the block on my murdersickle...after I get that dang roof high and tight!!

Stove turned out to be the $1000 black and stainless Bosch...Euro convection oven and 5 burners up top with some other special burner do dads...$427 out the door and brand new never out of the box...I wired, leveled, set the clock and hauled azz outta there...Left the old one in the front yard in homage to Texas T...Well mainly to get on the nerves of those responsible for killing most of my Friday and Saturday...I gotta ask if the stove operates as it should and if so I will use it as a powder coat oven....

The Coil Master has caused some issue...Last evening I rebuilt a K Fun...The 1.5 I used was a hair larger than my usual 5/64ths drill bit that had worked so well with the Green Wick...A perfect coil was on the deck in record time but even though there were the same # of wraps and a little more wire my ohms were down ..2 to 1.3...I cut the wick a hair shorter than norm and the coil height ended up a fraction higher than normal...It looked killer but the vape was rather unimpressive...After debating I decided that more wraps should put more coil in contact with the juice and add more ohms to the set up...1.5 mm coil/28G wire/12 wraps/ 1.9 ohm/4.2 V/wick a fraction longer than normal/coil set a little below even with the screws...Results in full flavor and clouds of vapor on demand...The Coil Master is a winner for sure...Going old school with the ohms isn't half bad either....

Hey Wuzz, didn't mean to be rude! I am sorry that you had wind damage :(

LD, my sister that is retiring on Friday after working at the same place for 37 years, works at Bosch. Not the appliance division but the automotive division. They do make good, quality stuff in both divisions but, you do pay for that quality too. That was an awesome deal!
