Good Morning. After working all week and splitting wood yesterday I crashed and overslept lol. Sooner or later I'm going to have to realize I'm 70, not 17.

Hey Wuzz, didn't mean to be rude! I am sorry that you had wind damage :(

LD, my sister that is retiring on Friday after working at the same place for 37 years, works at Bosch. Not the appliance division but the automotive division. They do make good, quality stuff in both divisions but, you do pay for that quality too. That was an awesome deal!

Didn't think you were rude at all Salem. I like a lot of Bosch too. Both tools and automotive. Had no idea they even made appliances.

Agreed OTR.... as long as politicians can be bought, we are all screwed :(

Politicians are like diapers. They should be changed often and for the same reason.

Crud! Looks I typed too soon. There's a big storm in sight now for Monday into Tuesday.
Not even sure if the little nuisance event is in play still or if it just cancelled and rolled into one big mother!!!!

The Carolinas are looking better and better! Salem and ElDee, do ya think the Carolinas can handle some 908???? :) lol

Looks like I'll be putting off the house duties today and instead be food shopping with all of the other 99,999 people afraid to run out of bread, milk and eggs!!! Grrrrr

Hey, Happy Sunday all!

ElDee, what you posted about the coil master is what happens to me every time I get one of the store employees to rebuild for me. The screwdriver they wrap on is smaller than what I use. I end up redoing it myself at home later. I will be looking into a coil master down the road!

My latest purchase was a replacement tank (with the metal sleeve, diamond shaped cut outs) for the Nauty. I haven't used it since getting the kayfuns, but hey, when I do it'll be bad azz! Lol **facepalm**

Sure, Tracy. Come on down!

It is funny because when we do get an inch or 2 of snow in the forecast, people here wipe out the milk and bread too lol Not sure what it is about storms that make folks hoard milk and bread. The bread I could see but, the milk? Not so much.

Glad to know that you guys are preparing to honker down though. Always better to be safe than sorry.

Wuzz acting 17 at 70 is a great thing IMO...Splitting wood is definitely hard down work....

I got Bosch tools out the ying yang,,,It came as a surprise they made appliances....They also make the VP44 pump on my Dodge...

No problem here with corporations making huge profits....My problem lies with paid politicians, off-shoring jobs and profits....stuff like that....I've long known your political views and have no problem with that either....Gotta admit though I found it a little unusual considering the allegiance with Jerry...

908 we have plenty of room in the 910...we also got plenty in the 919 but that's not the Eastern part!!! Had a K Fun sitting due to my satin Mini's unexpected leave of absence...It got the 1.9 and the same Custard as the Nauty...They taste similar but just better in the K...I got a little system worked out with the CM that yields a 100% perfect coil in seconds...I no longer torch prior too rolling and expect that could add too my experience as well...Now I get the untorched coil set where I want it and bump the fire button a few times while checking the positioning...All good and I light that sucker up a couple three times and let it cool naturally...Makes the coil take a "set" right where I want it...

I keep threatening to push the crack dealers outta the way and hawk bread and milk next snow storm....Almost comical how that stuff disappears whenever the word snow is mentioned here...I use neither so I'm GOOD!!!

Cool!!!! 908 to 910, hey I can dig the digit change, in all things concerned!!! lol Thanks for the warm welcome you two, but I fully expected that since my dd said "the people down there are SO FRIENDLY Mom!" :) If the 2 of you are any indication of the rest, I'd fit in nicely! :)

ElDee, it's funny you mention the part about not torching the wire first as I no longer do either, and my coils seem to last a bit longer and not go wonky on me as fast. I agree with the kayfuns providing better taste than the Nauty, which is why mine has sat since August. It's also why I facepalmed my previous post as to my most recent purchase. ***hangs head*** That shop on site will be the death of me, or at least my finances!!!! ha!

There is a fb post that cracks me up with a guy driving in his car frantically trying to get to the store for bread and milk before the snow hits! It's bound to repeat with the storm approaching, so I will repost it for you all to see.

As for me, it's off to eat something and jump in the shower for the dreaded task at hand........

908 our biggest advantage in the 910 is a lot less people...99% of the people from up North live in the 919...Raleigh/Cary...I venture there often but....GAHHHH!!!! to many dang people!!!!!! Our beaches and mountains kick azz as well....

I've long carried a Surefire flashlight....believe it expensive plus describes the price...Wonky azz 3.0 batts....I had a good supply of 3.0s when the GGTS was the Mack Daddy PV...worked fine in my Surefire led but blew my older same model Surefire incandesant pronto so I threw them and the 3.0 charger out...Yeah....So I'm getting ready too throw another set of Tenergys in the cart along with a charger for the led...Tenergy is bout the only 3.0 choice...All that searching the 3.0 has me getting ready too add a Nitecore P 20 too the cart...Sporting 1000 lumens....The brighter than any flashlight Surefire only sports 100 lumens so that 1000 seems like it may be over rated...Still the Nitecore gets rave reviews...it's on sale....1/4 the price of a new Surefire...it will accept 16340s that I have a ton of and will also accept 18650s that I also have sitting unused ATM...The new Surefire in my model is double the lumens at 200 and like I said 1000 has gotta be overrated...We'll see here in a few days...Gonna add a Nitecore digital charger in the cart as well as I have just lost a bay in one of my many TR001s....

Over crowded from too many people moving in is true for Charleston as well. It was awesome in the 70s and 80s. Early 90s too many tourists took up residence and now it is very congested. That is the only thing that I do not miss about living there. Being close tom my son and grandson would make it well worth dealing with for me though. Just wish that I could convince DH to make the move back:(

When son and GS were here at Christmas, my son went to my moms house and took longer than GS thought it should have. GS asked my son if he got caught in traffic (typical in Chas.) and my son laughed. Told him there is no traffic here. That is the truth and I like it that way.

I still have 2 TR001's going strong. Been using my Nitecore and Xtar because they are 4 bay and charge faster though. All of the mods that I have in use take 18650s but, it is nice to be able to charge the batteries for the Wii controller in the same charger.

You would think Dee.... Though Jerry was the leader of the counter culture, they were pretty much Libertarians at heart.

DH's range from Bill Clinton and Al Franken to Ann Coulter and Tucker Carlson.

And of course the two most famous DH's are Bill Walton and Nick Vassiliades. The former saw over 800 shows and you know he was there because in the sea of DH's there was one heads and shoulders above the crowd. The later is famous only in his own mind :faceplam:

We love you Wharf!!!! <3 As is. ;)

Bov, be careful out there!!!! I was just coming on to say that in all of my posts earlier, feeling sorry for myself with this snow storm coming.....YOU, FRAN, and OTR had really better watch out! Your storm totals will make mine seem like a dusting, and for that I am truly sorry and disgusted that you will have to deal with that. Please be careful up there!

Cattle prod in hand.....off I go!!!! (I need rock salt too!) Grand!

When we get a storm here it's usually a hurricane and the supply list is a lot bigger. Tape, plywood, batteries, canned goods, drinking water, candles, charcoal and grill gas, gasoline, generators and the list goes on. We've been up to a month without electricity before. Average is 1-2 weeks. Other than gasoline I never bother with much. I've got game, fish and can cook just fine on wood, including baking bread, which is plentiful after a storm lol. With no power dinner becomes the highlight of our day starting with the hunt. No sense in taking big game without refrigeration. The lake and woods provide daily delicacies.

Oh, I am very familiar with hurricanes. I was in Charleston (ground zero) when Hugo hit. We went months without power and cooking on the grill. That was the last time that we stayed and did not evacuate for anything more than a CAT2

The back half of our house was destroyed with us in it.

Matter of fact, there were many people living in tents after Hugo. It hit Sept 21 and we had a freak snow storm that December.
