double Greek salad

The only thing better than a Greek salad.... is a Double Greek salad :thumb:

Got one of those old man's bruises on the forearm gash....

I'm on blood thinners... This is the third time I got a purple old man bruise.

I while back we re-carpeted the up stairs. Everything ended up in the dining / living room. After 20 years, it was nice to be sparse all upstairs.
Monday Kia and the Boy came up and for three days they put away, donated and dumped much.

That cold I ran into was nasty....I'm still coughing up sheet and blowing my nose on occasion....Arm and back of hand have scabbed up nicely....Looks like a bear attacked it and still it's quiet painful.....It's getting better though....Got a 4pm with the dermatologist tomorrow....It will be the first time I've ever set foot in a dermatologist office....I'm gonna get some upgrades....

Good luck at your Derm appt today, Dee!

Worked on the patio yesterday and got another row of pavers added to the width. By the time I add the timber edging, it'll be about 10ft wide. I'm thinking about making it the same size going out, so 3 more rows of 7 pavers each left to go. I've been transplanting the dug out sod to bare spots in the side yard.

I need to get Bella her own rubber mallet and pair of gloves...every time I lay one or the other down, she grabs it and runs off

My go to nail driving hammer is an Estwing...Sitting in the toolbox retired is an Estwing with the end chewed off by a then Pit Bull pup named B.B...Nice pair of Snap On cutters riding beside the hammer...little punctures all in the rubber handles from puppy teeth....They've been in that drawer going on 25 years now....

Had two places biopsied....three or four places frozen....Everyone agreed my arm is good and fekked up....Waiting on the results now.....

I now can tell that I've got a very aggressive dermatologist.....Side of my nose is blistered from the freezing and those biopsies are kinda deep....In my mind those biopsied spots have 0.00% possibility of not being some form of cancer that's gotta be surgically removed....I'll deal with it and move on.....Hopefully anyway....Thanks for the well wishes....

SNAFU......Ductwork/doublewide trailers/such.....When I bought this house I tore it down and got it ready for transport...It's a doublewide so 2 halves....AC/heat on one side and jumps to the other side via a 12 inch flex duct....Saving money that first time I re-used the 12 inch duct....There's inner plastic tube that duct tapes to a metal collar.....a layer of insulation.....a second layer of plastic on the outside that also tapes on....One day it blew off as it was to short after I cut it....so I cut it again and it promptly blew off again....I got a new piece and it blew off about 9pm tonight...So no AC.....I checked into it and the drain from the AC was stopped up with crud....this allowed condensation to enter the air stream and that 12 inch duct....when it got full of water it just ripped off....So I got 20 feet of 12 inch duct nearly full of water and all that is on the ground so it's nice and dang muddy....I found the problem though and could have reattached the duct but it was muddy and the insulation is waterlogged....I found the box with the remaining duct but there's only @5 feet left of 25...So it's Lowes in the am....Heard a couple of days back tomorrow's heat index is 110* and Sunday 115*...You can't make this stuff up....Best I can say is check your AC drain from time to time....

I can't "like: that post, Dee!! Things like this always happen at the worst possible time :( At the very least, the good news is that you can repair it yourself instead of being at the mercy of an HVAC guy. Believe it or not, I check my AC drain just about every time I walk by it, and poke my drain unclogger doohickey into the pipe every couple of weeks! My heat pump is 17 years old and I know it's only a matter of time before it sheets the bed on me. This heatwave has us pretty much hunkered down in the house for now.

Took Bella to the Petco visiting vet clinic this morning to get her Heartguard Plus script refilled. She's gained 7lbs since she adopted me

Yepp the AC sheets the bed at 10pm on a Friday night....There was a lot of water under there and that equalled a lot of muddy clothes/arms/legs/knees now kinda raw feeling....but.....there's AC....and a new duct.....and a drain that's working well.....

Good to hear Bella is doing well....I assumed she would........
