Happy to know you got your ac back up and working! It was still in the 80s at midnight last night

Instead of teaching Bella to shake, she's learned to "give me a kiss." At Petco yesterday a gent asked if his 4 year old could pet her. Before I could say "let her sniff you first," the little boy was giggling because as soon as he got close enough to Bella sitting next to me, she gave him a gentle kiss

Hi all!

A request for proposal dropped at work, earlier than I expected, so it's bizzy time again for me. It's also absolutely beautiful weather right now, so I will be taking 3 day weekends! (I have about 8 days of use it or lose it time off, need to make sure I use it [emoji3])

It looks like the time I spent hauling soil to our rocky point at camp is paying off, the annual grass seed is coming up nicely, perennial should start to pop in two more weeks. As long as I keep up doing watering on days without rain, we should have a good root system by season end, so the dirt doesn't wash away with spring flooding next year.

Between work and an extended in-laws visit, I'm itching to get camp projects done and some play time in. We want to get in some kayak time, and more time on the boat running around (the new-to-me old evinrude motor is working great).

The Equifax credit breach from 2017 is in settlement. If you were affected you can get free credit monitoring for 10 years, plus compensation for things like time spent freezing and unfreezing your credit records, plus compensation if you had any actual losses (things like having to get paperwork generated to dispute false charges).

I spent about 6 hours total in 2017 getting freezes on the three credit and one bank main systems, and a couple hours this year doing temporary lifts (&verifying the freezes went back in place).

The online form is pretty easy to fill out.

Web site to see if you were affected:

Thank you Mark! I was affected by it. Not sure if I’d like to go the online route or hard copy form to fill out. It has left me paranoid as ever to put my information “out there.”

The beach vaca was WONDERFUL! It rained some on the first day, but we still managed to make the best of it. Day one is mostly settling in anyways!
We rented bikes and cruised the boardwalk both mornings there, had a red flag beach day so no ocean play but sitting under the umbrella and listening to those waves is def therapeutic!!! The water park (Madison’s favorite) was fun also, even if a water slide made me want to toss my cookies. Just one of the three, so I made sure to avoid the bad seed!
We also learned that miss Madison passes out on roller coasters!!! She will never go on one again as long as I’m in charge. Scary!!!
We are home since yesterday afternoon and being back in my own bed was heavenly!

I bet that was scary Madison passed out!! Glad to hear your vaca was great other than that :)

3 month Dr check up yesterday was fine...A1c below 6 (6 and under is considered T2D well controlled) and my BP was 120\75. The bad news is I have to stop experimenting with home made Pina Colada ice cream recipes since I was up a few lbs :censored::blush:
