Good morning, Tracy
Yes I did enjoy the nice day. It is to be warmer today and rather hot tomorrow...LOL

Good to see ya here. Happy Birthday to Mrs. Wharf when the time arrives.
Just can't be that easy can it, Bov? Maybe a combo of jigsaw and lopper will do it. Know anyone that might have a Saws-all?
Glad you got that without too much grief. It's a lot of work that's for sure. I hope it isn't really hot and you're drinking plenty of water!!Happy Birthday, Wharf!! And to Mrs Wharf coming up
My loppers were able to take care of the tree root, Fran. I got row 5 leveled and blocks laid today...2 more rows and I'll be done laying the pavers, then I'll frame it with landscape timbers. It'll end up being approx 10x10'![]()

I think it looks great. Can't wait to see the finished picsMy whole heat pump unit is outside, with a pvc drain pipe coming out the side. Is there anything else I should look for, or is that the one I need to make sure is clog free? I don't recall anything but the duct work coming out of the unit under the house.
It puffed up and started thundering just after I got done outside this afternoon, but the much needed rain stayed south of us.
Progress pic! The 6 extra dirty pavers right in front of the steps were already there, but I need to pry them up and level them to pitch away from the steps like the ones I have put in. I'm not a pro, but it ain't too shabby

My favorite yard tool has always been the big brother of the ax...........the splitting maul.......LOL.I forgot to mention....I've found my cordless recripicating saw isn't the best for trimming limbs above ground....I can't imagine it being better on roots...My take is the blade for green/wet/alive wood is much more aggressive....the blades for dried wood heat up when the wood is still wet...They will cut wet wood but will not walk through it if there's any size at all involved....My favorite tool for roots is an ax....then a bush ax...I keep a little red{from Lowes} limb saw in the truck....it folds like a pocket knife and makes quick work of wet or dry wood.....The patio is looking great !!!
