Bov, I was wondering about Katie just last week. So very sorry for your loss.
Fran I hope that Dallas will be ok. Sounds like he is on the right path.

I got an email from the ex about a month ago saying that he had a chimney fire and the house was deemed uninhabitable, so he was homeless, living on the streets of Hartford. Apologized (LoL) for all the pain he caused, couldn't live like he was, and that he'd see Chase and me in the next life. I didn't respond to him...I'm sure he was hoping for money or a roof over his head.

Thanks, Tracy. I won't deny that it tugged at my heartstrings at first, until I realized responding would be the same as inviting Satan into your head. His life is his to figure out. I guess there was nothing left of Katie's estate for him.

Cuzzo's Ex finally after a couple of months sent a check to install the 4 sliding glass doors....Trust I'm waiting for that bad boy too clear before I strike a lick....Benjamins only please....Got my usual 5 irons in the fire...

Heard a clicking from a tire on my way home the other day. Figured it was a stone stuck in the tread, but looked to make sure...and it was. BUT......while looking, I noticed some minor cracking starting to happen between the inner treads. Car still has less than 13k miles so the treads are still good and deep. Looked at the DOT number tho, and nearly fainted!! These are still the original tires on a 2005 car...DOT date made week 40 of 2004

Got new tires put on my car today. All the guys at the tire place got a good laugh at me still running the OG tires, but they were pretty impressed at my odometer reading 12,390! The manager said I needed a prize for making their day, and gave me a 10% discount

Well I'm cured of the Hepatitis C....Then I found out I had Coronary Artery Disease....Thursday another hammer fell.....I've got early onset Macular Degeneration....It is what it is....I've been smoking Backwoods Cigars....Now I've gotta conquer that demon once more....I will and soon but sometimes a Brother needs a crutch....
Tires from back then and tires these days aren't the same....The really high dollar tires will last a while but those from China will be fine and then one day just go straight too Hell....I run Japanese Toyos on the Taco and have over 30k on a set now....The Ranger I'm getting Goodyears for and they're priced just a shade over Chinese....Quality is likely about the same....It's gonna be for sale so no biggie too me....
Old Cuzzo's Ex is a real piece of work....Cuzzo's Sis is a fine lady in all respects...Cuzzo's kids were at Sis' house for Christmas as I was....The Son lives with the Ex and upon his return the Ex grilled him to see if we were talking about her....Well the Son says his Aunt doesn't even like her so why would she be talking about her....That was a bombshell and Cuzzo's Ex called him right on up....Ex says Cuzzo's Sis only hates her because she's rich....I'm guessing all the whoring around she did previous to the split had nothing to do with it in her mind....So when I heard that I hit the door install from 4 to 5 k and that's what the check is for...The pattern has been to hit her again once the jobs are near done and so far that's worked like a charm....Hey....she's rich....My 1/2 should be available Monday....I'll start soon after and Cuzzo will join whenever....Past that there's a complete tear out of a double garage sheetrock ceiling and the same in the laundry room where the roof leaked while the house was unattended....That's gonna be expensive as Hell....There's also a double garage door and a walk in door on the back side of the garage needing replacing....Truth is I need the cash and it's aggravating but available....Old Ex best hope Sis don't find out what she said....Matter fact I'm rich as well....I just don't have a lot of cash....2500 more Monday though and bet this.... my buttocks will sling those doors in......

I'm really sorry to hear about your Macular Degeneration, Dee. Praying you have very slow progression.
I'm good with the China tires, there's just no way for me to afford any better. Hell, I put more miles on my Reeboks in a week than I do my car!

Tires, ugh. New set put on late this fall bc of nails in them and two plugs already at the time. I stopped using the alley behind my house as the preferred route at that time believing that was likely where I was picking them up. Last week I once again hear that dreaded clicking while driving, and you better believe it’s once again a large flat head nail right in the edge of the outer tread!
Good luck with all the work and timely payments on Cuzzo ex’s place ElDee! There is a vitamin/prescription I’ve heard of for macular degeneration. (You were more than likely prescribed it) My Grammy had it. I was told about it by her eye doctor during one of Maddie’s appointments. Like bov said, I hope the progression slows for you bud. Hugs

LD, sorry to hear about the macular degeneration. I know that your mom deals with it as well.
Do yourself a favor and get started on lutein ASAP. It will slow down the progression for sure. My mom had it and she did lose much of her vision. I am certain that the lutein kept her from going completely blind though. She insisted that the rest of us start taking it. So we did.
