@Tibs, no not just one pint....another pint
It's an insidious thing, ice cream.
I start with a spoonful, I end up eating a pint.
No control, I am powerless...

I only buy it on occasion. Well, OK--on two occasions recently

Oooooo, Wille Nelson's Peach Cobbler???? I've never had that one <adds to list>
Peach ice cream, yum!

I started going to the gym after the gentle encouraging/poking/prodding of another Not-Cigger to whom I am grateful for his relentless hounding. I exercised at home but was not faithful to it, easily distracted, excuses easily found.
I am not exactly faithful, now, but more than I have been for having tried to do the same in the past.
I feel better, I look better, I meet people and people watch.
I eat more with less guilt

But I can truthfully say, it doesn't make bringing down the Xmas boxes from the attic any less a chore from h3ll. I am feeling your pain on that one, Tracy.

Bov, drop kicking a moose??? LOLOLOLOL!!!
There's power in them thar stairs, I tell ya!
A pint for you for having to navigate them day in and day out!

Spike is a Min-Pin?
Thought I remembered that from somewhere.

My friend has a Min-Pin, he cornered a possum under her deck.
It was a sad day for the possum :(

Yes, one is supposed to clean the walls before applying Kilz, BIN, stainblock, primer, what have you--so it is recommended as I recall.

I used the TSP substitute on wood paneling, it worked well enough but I am clueless to any other surfaces.

I hope you find a satisfactory way to manage it, Dee.
I am not familiar with the surface you describe, is it sandable?
Just throwin' stuff out there :)

I don't mind painting.
I am not a fan of all the prep work that prefaces it but a job done right is a beauty to behold.

Off to KP duty--laters, y'all.
Stay warm!

I love the lights but living where I do I'd be the only one enjoying them...Some cat up the road installed lights that cover the entire house...They're kinda light blue and in a pattern...I suspect some new kind of light netting....Hell yeah I burned a fatty and rode by his crib several times...Two thumbs up for the lights!!!!!!!

Spike is indeed a Mini Pin...The smallest of the terrier breed...He loves people but anything else and it's shoot first ask questions never...

Willie's Peach Cobbler I found at Wally's and Harris Teeter...HT's prices are higher than a giraffe's azz...

I hit the Wally Wurld....Those damn carts should come with horns and dang bumpers...Purple choices are Purple Power and Castrol Super Clean...PP also makes a citrus cleaner and I grabbed one for experimentation....Having those monster truck tires scheduled for a cleaning post desk install I also grabbed a gallon of Castrol Super Clean...it cleans tires and tar stains equally well but will jack up aluminum so be careful if you're rolling with aluminum rims...When the tires are mounted and on the truck I switch too Simple Green for the rims sake...The good news is the PP Citrus cut the tar stains as good as the Purple and doesn't seem nearly as caustic...I just got a spray bottle of the citrus and didn't bother reading the directions or trying too dilute it...The tar was running down the walls...Nasty I tell you...Did I forget the furniture polish....Yepp....

For real knock down finish is a thin cement sprayed with a pop corn ceiling gun....known as a dump gun...they spray a coat on the walls or ceiling and knock it down with a trowel...Sometimes they use a heavy brush and swirl and dab the ceilings...the swirl and dab can leave it a little rougher than a wall would need too be...Then it's painted...Done right it leaves an awesome effect... plus it's very durable..Mine is knock down vinyl wall paper like found in many mobile mansions of the era...Mi casa is a 98 model!!!!!!!

I'm not a grinch about Christmas, it's the location, the constant harping about the electric bill in Katieville.

(((Pokey))) Speaking of bat chit crazy, it was a bad night followed by a bad day here. Katie is extra easily confused, anxious, and OCD today and last night. She was coming in my room about every hour until around 4am, fretting about the basement and the coming storms. I'm getting plenty of practice in patience and kindness today :)

We already have water seeping into the basement, so we'll have a double whammy, Jerry and Fran. Lots of rain for us, turning to snow and mix later in the week. I'd rather shovel snow than muck the basement...still never talked her into a pump, so it still has to be back breaking manual labor
