Ya they're saying $5.00 gal. is on the way. Our wonderful government likes to raise taxes while things are cheap. Then when the prices return to normal the tax is huge. Stinkies are only around a dollar a pack and the rest of the $8.00 a pack is taxes etc. Now they're moving to tax ecig stuff way up there too.

Believe it or not, cigs are still relatively inexpensive here. Had to buy a carton for my mom :( yesterday and it was $33.67

Gas is $1.77 per gallon right now. Soon to change, I am sure.

In 1960 30% of all taxes where payed by corp America now it's 9% that 21% has to come from somewhere.

I got two words for corporate America....

Storm????? Man it's been raining like stink on sheet all day long....The wind is howling and obviously howled through Minnesota on it's way here...Lovely and pleasant it ain't!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got up in time too repair the roof ahead of the rain....Made it into the bathroom as the rain began to fall....I got a 5 gallon bucket pinned with a cinder block covering the roof vent until further notice...

Handling the affairs for an 84 year old woman can try your ding dang nerves...Cousin in real estate offers up a deal on a stove that was used during a staging...Top of the line Bosch....I checked the Bosch lineup and the cheapest is 900 and this unused one is 400...However the model number remains unknown to me....will it fit??? There is no warranty....Can an 84 year old operate it??? All they know is it's a 400 Bosch....50 miles one way....Guess what I'm doing tomorrow.....I got two more and different words for stoves....and my dang cousin probably needs burn salve for her ears....What they say is....To many cooks spoil the stew....They making things complicated....

It comes from SMB's and the 5%ers OTR :)

Oh, I understand the feeling Dee and it's easy to pick on them.... But let's take a look at a few.

Google, Bing (MS) and Yahoo. My customers and many SMB's (small / medium size businesses) have grown they're businesses thru Search advertising..... A LOT !!! Along with the ancillary businesses that support those Corps.

How 'bout Ford, GM, Chrysler. How many auto repair, body, parts, wrecker and accessory businesses are in this country because of these Corps. We can go on and on... This notion that Corps are bad is just is rubbish in my opinion ( I'm not so humble).

Like anything, they do things we like and things we don't. It doesn't make them evil or bad. And like everything in this country, including this country itself, we do a LOT more good than we do bad.

* That's my 4¢ *

Back to the weather....... I hope you are all safe thru the storm.
