My wife's home town in southern NH will end up with over 30ins of snow by the time this is over. Pretty much closed the state down today. The news is covering this as if we never see snow its been pretty disgraceful IMHO. How hard they sold this storm. Am sure its been great for ratings and some business. Empty milk and bread shelf hitting the TV. Wonder how much of that get throw out next week. We really did need this snow. It's will be a busy weekend at the ski area's.
I've never watched a whole football game on tv. Only ones I've ever attended were when my son was in the marching band at hs. My wife records the Super Bowl, watches the commercials and fast forwards through the game lol. So as you might guess I don't really care what they do with their football. JUST KEEP THEM AWAY FROM THE GOODYEAR BLIMP!!!!!

I'm not a football fan either, couldn't care less who plays, wins, cheats, whatever 
Our snow was fluffy, but it didn't feel so light while digging out. Our snow thrower made half a stripe down the drive and then kicked the bucket, I wasn't able to get it restarted. One of our neighbors brought her bigger thrower over and cleared the paved part for us, while I shoveled my car out and cleared the walk and door stoops.
I didn't say anything to Katie, but I have a feeling she used the wrong gas can last time she used the thrower. She continued to try to start it while I shoveled, and the primer button broke on her. Guess it'll have to take a trip to the shop.

Not sure if the Pats let the air outta the ball or not...I saw the accusation but didn't hang around and see if they were guilty or not....The Pats will always rate right up there with the Broncos in my book...The Raider Nation hasn't forgotten the Brady fumble fiasco...I guess running that snow blower across the field prior too the field goal was legal as well...What I'm sayin' is one of those Super Bowl rings Brady wears really belongs to Rich Gannon...JMO
Got this sinus deal e ohh called a SinuPulse...Like a water pic but for your sinuses....I been using it the last couple of days seeking some relief...Trying to use it daily here for a bit and see if it will have any benefits...Cause headaches suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Google Fiber internet service is being installed in Raleigh...30 miles away...They got AT&T UVerse a couple months back...My sheet is a little faster than the Pony Express.....

Bov, that reminds me of a time that my sister was getting her Honda worked on. She had a rental car for the week. She and my son were going somewhere when she stopped to fill up with gas. Thank goodness that my son noticed she had filled the car with diesel! She was lucky because she was able to tow the car to a friends house and he drained the tank for her. That was years ago and I still quadruple check when I reach for the gas hose now.

LD, this sinus crud/ weird stuff has taken up housekeeping in my chest
Seems to like it there a lot too because there are no signs of it leaving. Today I started losing my voice. This has got to be the strangest cold that I have ever had.BTW- Be careful and sure to only use distilled water with those things. Many cases of amoeba's being in tap water and making folks extremely sick when using it in a sinus rinser thingy.

Wuzz, the driveway behind my car to the street is cleared, as well as the streets. With Katie being in her 80s, it's a must to be able to get my car out in case of emergency. Sometimes the emergency is that I need to escape before I blow a gasket

I get allergy sinus and eye burn about 15 times a year. I've been using a wash cloth with as hot of water wrung out as I can handle. I press it over my eyes and nose and lay back, works every time. Mrs Wharf got the crud last weekend and wicked sinus pain. I finally talked her into trying it and it gave her relief until it passed.
I ordered Green wick too. 2 weeks to get here.... Looks like that Japanese cotton is coming from China

We bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Remove it from the heat and place a towel over our head making a tent. Inhaling the steam from the salt water will flush the sinuses well plus, salt is healing.
I take weekly shots for allergies and my allergist told me to use the saline nasal spray as many times day as needed. That also helps to keep allergens cleared from the nose. Nothing seems to be working very well with this cold though. Guess that I have to just ride it out.
