Agreed with Bov. Not sure how large a town you live in, but if you don't like the doc, best to find a new one. I had an awesome gyno/onc years ago when I needed one. He had the best bedside manner and was wonderful!
Wuzz you be careful with those chainsaws, ya hear?

Thanks, everyone!
Tracy, my mom is actually lucky enough to have an awesome surgeon. He is the one that is sending her to the onc and said that she is very good. The fact that the surgeon is very reputable and trusted by us makes it easy to trust his decision on any doc that he sends her to.Not to mention that I did my research and she seems to be very reputable.
I am headed to bed but had to stop by and tell you all this. My mom saw her pulmo today. I think that I told you all she quit smoking two days before surgery?Quite a feat after 64 years of heavy smoking. Well, she did start vaping with some Ego Twists that I have. Today in the pulmo's office, she was vaping on her Twist without even realizing it while being examined by the doc. She is one of those people that is very animated with her hands while she talks. She was fogging the exam room up and that purple Ego was being waved around everywhere. Funny part is that the doc never said a single word about her vaping there.
May have been one of those things that you had to be there to appreciate but, I got a kick out of it and thought I would share.
On a bright note, her oxygen saturation was 97-98% today! No more oxygen for . Even though her COPD is severe, she is actually not doing too bad
@Wuzz, glad your injuries were no worse. Be careful out there! You know that you do not want to be dealing with any major broken bones
This week and next is jam packed with doc appts but, I will e checking in as often as I am able to.
Morning folks
Thank you for sharing the great news about your mom, Salem! I'm glad to hear that her pulmo didn't have a problem with her vaping, and her O2 sat was way up is awesome! Hoping the onco will continue the trend.
I hear ya on wanting to stay home Tracy. I told Katie that if I had to make a trip to town today, it would have to be at gun point! She got notice in the mail yesterday that her car inspection is due tho, and she's gonna nag about that until I get it done.
Salem, bless you both during this ordeal.Salem, that's awesome!!! The entire post made me smile. A reputable doctor (yay, half the battle right there!) and the fact that your mom filled the office up with vapor...fantastic news!!! (((Hugs)))
