Still in the dark....Forecast was for 43* last night....Hell yeah I lit the little heater....damn if I'm gonna be freezing and in the dark at the same time....No heat tonight and feeling a little sweaty....

The generator has been acting up....leaking a little oil too....Happy to say I got all that rectified and it's outside humming and not leaking....That took all day though....Spent a while in the dark adjusting the governor to kick up the volts when stuff gets plugged in....All good now....

So with that out of the way tomorrows top priority.....SHOWER !!!!!!! Then I must charge some 18650s...Couple of weeks back I damn near mailed some cross country in a PIF.....I got an amazing pile of dead batts and three that always kept the 26650 company in a 4 bay still charged....at least I hope they're charged.....How the Hell did the pioneers keep their batteries charged??????????????????

I know you were looking at one of the Tsunamis...I'm not sure which one. Mark PIF'd it to me and I liked it a lot. However I am hooked on the Kennedy 24 with Trippy Tip's Plasma tank and just picked up another set. So if you want to try it, or anyone else, let me know. Or if you have someone in mind, let me know.

I wondered about your weather last night, LD. It got down to 48 here last night and 47 tonight. I remember a few months after Hugo hit us, we had a freaking snow storm! In Charleston, SC lol Sad part was that we still had thousands of people living in "tent cities" that were set up by FEMA. Yeah, the end of 1989 was one heck of a time for people living in Charleston.

Try to stay positive. It could always be worse. You have an actual roof over your head and a generator. Now if you could just get that shower.................

My son and grandson went home last night. GS school still has no power (not hurting his feelings at all) but, they did get power back at home yesterday afternoon. Fingers crossed that you have power soon as well. I do understand what a PITA it is to go without

It's the same tank Lynn... One of the things i love about good colored glass, it will change colors dramatically through shadow, front lit and back.
I bought my first Trippy Tip in early 2012 and have used nothing else since.

Well the power company had the neighbors all giddy when they finally got that transformer outta the middle of the road.....I kept telling them not to get their hopes up.......We're still in the dark...I did manage to hunt down a shower and then I didn't wanna break a sweat so I didn't.....The way I see it is it won't be as long as it has been,,,at least I hope it won't....No power really sucks.....

Great looking rig Wharf !! The Tsunami Plus with the squonker pin was the one I was looking at....No squonk mod met my expectations though so I'm in a holding pattern until I see one I like....

My Dad passed 21 years ago today....Some of you saw my FB post....My Cousin's wife took the opportunity to message me on FB asking why I un-friended her....She must have been deep in her feed looking at what other people had "liked"....Her mother in law is the aunt I was beeching about a couple weeks back....I simply decided to move on from the drama....Blood is not necessarily family.....Vice/versa

During this life I had four main mentors.....3 are gone now...The fourth...my Uncle Clarence called as I was leaving the parts store....Knowing I'm not the only one who misses Dad means alot....
