Lynn, the atty is a Kennedy 24. The tank is from Trippy Tips. They're the only DT's I've used since I bought my 1st one early 2012. The Plasma tank has an inner chimney like the kayfun. And it holds almost 5ml's.

Bert's site is TrippyTips.com (looks like the site down) Most often he's on FB at Trippy Tips Collective.

Bert is a very cool and generous guy too ;)

Yikes Tracy! Is that the reason Verizon had you wipe your browser history? If so, I hope you don't have any other issues, like banking or credit card!

They were very helpful (unlike apple) and just covered all bases I'm sure. The cc that I had to load into iTunes when I got my first iPhone has been cancelled 2 times already but I've never changed info in iTunes so I should be good. Cripes....knocks on wood any dang ways!
That was my first worry when I got the notification to my phone.
Plastic is a real PITA!

Woohoo!!! Not sure how the heck I missed all of these posts earlier when I was here. Strange because I swear that they weren't here. o_O

That is great news though. :thumb:

Salem, that happens to me so often here....ill look at this thread several times a day and it'll seem unchanged...until I post, then 8 more will appear in between!

I had planned to get down to the beach house and check on it today...Duties here required it only be a fly by at the beach....Due to having a neighbor who cut 4 pines from my yard pre Fran and the same neighbor being the one I had problems with last year about the other tree...Yeah that's right they cut down 4 full grown pines in my yard....Well I decided it best to take old BiL along in case I needed reining in...Then he had a football game to attend and that pushed the departure to 2pm....Then the game started late and he arrived at 2:30....Sis had brought Mom lunch earlier and Spike was in the house with Mom....I had been in there about an hour earlier checking on Mom and Spike and Mom had jumbled a couple of words but acted otherwise OK...This time I found Mom slumped over on the couch and she was not responding or breathing....I ran out and screamed for BiL to call 911 and ran back in and performed CPR....I got her breathing but in no way responding....There was a Hella wait for the paramedics and just before they arrived she opened her eyes a couple of times but that was it....no response at all...The Doc at the hospital said it looked like she had a stroke in the area of the brain where a lot of nerves are congregated....Cat scan revealed no bleeding in the brain....It's a small town and hospital...brand new and I believe the care is good....MRI is gonna be Monday and the Doc said it would reveal if Mom had the type of stroke she thinks it was...Trust me I'm fried and there's no way I remember the name of that stroke....By the time we got to see her again she was a little better and as the evening progressed she was a lot better....almost but not quiet back to normal.....Had that football game not been delayed....Had I left without BiL as I started to do...Had I not walked in when I did...Sis was 45 miles away trying on shoes when I called and had already been in and checked on Mom....I thought for all the world she was gone....There's no way to accurately describe the feeling or thoughts that were flying through my head....I dove in and did what I had to do....Somehow I won....

How scary LD!! It was a good thing that you were there. I hope your mom makes a full recovery. Do they think she had a transient ischemic episode? After being with my aunt while she was having a stroke, the jumbled words would have been a dead giveaway for me that something was going on.

Lynn I do remember the Doc saying something about a TIA or something along those lines....Pretty sure what you posted was what the Doc said when I asked what a TIA was....She did say the MRI would reveal if that was what it was......

No new updates....No phone calls either so I suspect all remains good....I'm still regaining my senses and gonna ride down there in a minute....

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes....Dee

Yeah, the MRI will see if the blood clot has dissolved itself. Glad you haven't had any news! No news is good news right?

OMG, LD. I am so sorry! Reading this instantly brought back the feelings that I had when we thought that my mom had a stroke on the operating table after her last HA.

My sister and I both are so afraid of walking in and finding her exactly as you describe. I wish that there was more that I could say or do but, (((hugs))) will have to do for now.

I'm back after another long day....Tonight Mom slurred a couple of times and at times forgot what she was saying.....She also repeatedly asked for a potty chair....I can tell that things ain't the same and I'm scared....very scared......

Much love to all of you.....Dee

Oh, LD. I can't like that post. I know how scared you are from my own experiences. Just know that we will be here to support you a long the way. Always. Day or night. Just check in here and talk to us.

I did ask TT to put you both on his prayer list. It evidently gets sent to a whole lot of people. Not sure that it will help but, it sure can't hurt.

By definition, a TIA should cause symptoms that last no more than 24 hours.

A transient ischemic attack has the same origins as that of an ischemic stroke, the most common type of stroke. In an ischemic stroke, a clot blocks the blood supply to part of your brain. In a transient ischemic attack, unlike a stroke, the blockage is brief, and there is no permanent damage.
