Hey Fran, I am not trying to get into your business but please don’t hesitate to talk to your dr if needed. They will be able to give you something ( even if just temporary) for anxiety that may help you get through this.

My bil did that finally last year after my middle sister passed. It helped him tremendously.

Good to hear everyone is doing just a little better !!!

My 48 hours on the heart monitor revealed a normal rhythm for the period....Got my papers in to the charity care lady yesterday...Could be a month before I hear if I qualify....Zero income shown for forever I can't see how I wouldn't...Now I can shift my attention too the pharmacy charity....8 days and counting until my appointment with the cardiologist.....

LD, I k ow that it is easier said than done but, try not to stress yourself too much about what could be going on.

My mom always told me not to worry until you know that you have something to worry about. Hoping that now that your bp is under control, you will have no more issues at all.

Hey mark, as always, the coffee was excellent. DH and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks again!

Glad you're feeling better, Fran.

Salem, I remember having to pack all my mama's stuff up after she died in 2002. It is a big processing day, and glad that's behind you.

It is all still sitting in my car. I have to unload and clean before donating. It wreaks of cigs. Going to try and get it done this weekend.

How is that sweet little Bella doing?

Yesterday a lot of test info was released onto my online chart....Doc messaged the info on the heart monitor...From the chart I gathered the wall of my heart that looks not to be moving may indeed be the one they couldn't get a good look at....Lungs said to be blocking view....Said due to being an ex smoker....Chest x ray was done and I asked Doc and he said lungs looked clear...I chain vaped and asked if they were clear because I'd seen those x rays of smoker lungs....It's been 3 weeks or a month since I've vaped....kinda lost count there but the bottom line is my lungs were clear......My take on that is vaping is relatively safe....I'd been wanting to quit just due to everything involved and being tired of the daily grind of batteries/juice....Blood pressure and nicotine being a vaso constrictor pushed me over the edge....I dropped vaping like a rock....Maybe it will help the BP and maybe not....Last night BP 121/80 with meds so good for now....That heart wall not seen moving though....That could mean a possible blockage of the artery feeding the heart and the one called the widow maker...I had to define a lot of Doc speak but that's where it led....Suggest going forward not with cauterization but angiogram...That was on the chart....I've read symptoms of the widow maker and have only been light headed a couple of times....I believe nicotine withdrawals will also make one light headed but that continued a little longer than I would suspect if it were nicotine alone....No other symptoms of the widow maker though....BP responded well too meds....Monitor shows normal rhythm....From where I stand everything so far looks good....I see the cardiologist in one week.....Seems like it's taking forever and then some.....

LD, that sounds like pretty decent news to me. The fact that your lungs are in good shape is excellent news. Did you k ow that the heart is actually secondary to the lungs in terms of keeping you alive?

I learned this back in 98-99 when my husband was in icu for 3 months on full life support. It surprised me back then.

An angiogram and a catheterization are both done the same way. They are just looking at different things.

They will prepare your arm and your groun area before the procedure. The reason for this is in case you don’t have good veins in your arm to thread the catheter through, they will be ready to go in through the groin.

In my case they were able to go in through the arm. The procedure itself was not bad at all.

These drs work on our body’s much the same way you work on cars these days. Most parts can be replaced or repaired with just a few exceptions.

If there is something going on with your heart, I feel confident that they will be able to fix or repair the problem. Try not to worry yourself too much. These things normally sound much scarier than they actually are.

I k ow how worrisome it is though. I really feared that I might drop dead before I had my catherization done. The unknown is a scary thing.

Hang in there, ((( LD )))

    Afternoon, all.

I had my grandson here for a few hours yesterday morning. He said that he wasn’t feeling well. Sure enough as soon as he got back home he was vomiting. He caught a bug going around in his school.

I have my fingers crossed that we do t catch it. I am having 8 teeth removed tomorrow and getting a top denture. Should have done it years ago instead of pouring so much money into my mouth.

Hoping that you all have a good day.
