Beautiful Baldwinsville (CNY)
A nice day, so I took part of the afternoon off. I tacked up the 40' of gutter, of course it came up a little short [emoji3] (I was really trying to avoid one more joint, and cutting with a hacksaw) Tomorrow I'll pop out the rivets joining the last 10' section, scab in a small piece to have it go all the way to the roof edge. (I definitely don't want to remove the whole gutter - 40' of aluminum is pretty flimsy.)

Sounds like yall are making good progress on your respective remodels and repairs, Dee and Mark. I'm embarrassed to admit that almost a year after I bought it, my compound miter saw is still in it's box, waiting on me to unpack it and mount the blade

Haha, Fran! I had so many projects flying around in my head when I first bought my house...but dammit!! Bills keep getting in the way of fun stuff! I'm still on a diet of Ramen noodles and cereal trying to recover from the cost of Bella's fence

And wouldn't change a damn thing!! Still amazed and grateful for all I've been blessed with since leaving Connecticut

Hey all !.... I know I've been gone too long ... A little over a week ago Kia and the Boy came up from LA. I took them to San Francisco, the Boy had never been west of the Rockies until this last March. We picked up my niece and had a great day seeing the City, even places I've never seen.

Then we beat it down to the South Bay to see the Dead & Company. Kia has been to 5 shows but this was the Boy's first show. This is John Mayer and Oteil Burbridge's (bassist from the Allman Brothers) 6th tour with the band and they are tearing it up. Mayer and Burbridge have put a huge youthful step in the 3 remaining members....
A great time was had by all and I think the Boy MAY be on the Bus :thumb:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday brought 22 hours of Salesforce training, which had me spinning Thursday and Friday:yawn:

Lastly, I've missed 4 day of cardio rehab, but made it up the last 3 days.

I hope everybody has a great week.

    Sounds like a blast, Wharf!

I'm finally back up to my 2 mile morning walk with Bella after blowing out my hip. It's not without pain, but it's doable. I'm not gonna complain about this much needed rain we're getting, but it does make the PsA flare, on top of the mending hip muscles and tendons.

Bella rolled herself up in her binkie last night in protest of the rain stopping our early evening back yard play time

Thank you for the squonk refill bottle Mark! I will no doubt love it, just haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Thanks also for your instructions on how to use it properly!

Wharf I love that you’ve been having a great time showing the young ones around. Making memories is what it’s all about! :)

Glad everyone is doing OK !!!

Just in from another round of bedroom rebuilding....Sheetrock awaits primer....My intent this trip was getting the toilet flange back through the floor and glued in....Got that done...Had hoped to begin laying the vinyl planks but a closer look at sub flooring that was hidden by tools and such and I gotta change about a sheet and 3/4s...That same old deal where only the Home Depot has the thickness needed and the nearest HD is 40 miles one way...I got two sheets in the shop...Getting those two sheets here and avoiding the monsoons was a feat...That flooring doesn't like getting wet much....
