    Happy Independence Day!!

Bleh, Dee...hoping your snot head is of short duration! Pokey is just getting over a bad summer cold that clung to her for a couple of weeks :(

It has been unbearably hot here, with heat and air quality advisories. Heat index of 107 yesterday, so no more work on the patio this week. Even Bella doesn't want to go outside any more than she has to.
Way too hot for me down there

    Happy 5th of July! [emoji3]

I finally found a nice squonk bottle for the cheapie 20700 mechs I rebuild (my own copper contacts and a proper modmaker 510 connector make things work beautifully):
$2.83 Mechanical Mod Replacement Squonk Bottle - 8ml / silicone + stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I got the black one, liked it enough to order 3 more of this model in white.

It needs one tiny tweak. I use a 510 refill bottle, while this squonk bottle is designed for people who manually refill, has a collar to expose air inlets which provide a possible leak point. I picked up a small tube of food grade RTV silicone, sealed the ring and air holes so it doesn't leak.

    It's a medium soft silicone, 8ml.

I'm happy you're feeling better, Dee...summer colds are the worst! Keep resting until you are over it.

Nice modding, Mark! I really like the Pulse box for working outside, but I just don't like squonking...so I have one of my RTAs on it. It's still very light weight, pocket friendly, and easy to clean.

Still at a stall on the patio with the heat and rain. I did manage to get my and the neighbor's yards mowed between thunderstorms.

Got a text from my old Ct neighbor on 4th of July with a news paper article attached. Ex is back in jail...he threatened to kill the woman living with him and then kill himself. Sad that she put her little ones in that kind of environment.

    Nice looking modifications Mark....

Pretty sure old boy Kev may have some mental issues....

Farther down the road with this cold...I had fever and some delusional dreams...aches and pains...plenty of snot and phlegm....I'd long been a believer that vaporizing killed such germs on contact....When I'd been in a situation where I thought germs may be present I'd always vape a little harder....nose exhale....etc....Always seemed to work and just as soon as I quit.....Sick....Son of a Beech

    Happy 6th of July !!!

I have not been to NC or SC, but I can't imagine it could be any worse than Dallas, it was HOT and Wet. How do you guys do it !!!
We flew out a week and a half ago and I'm not one for flying out 5:45am:blink: There were 30 minute breakouts for close to 3 days straight. I might have to get sick the next time we have to fly there!!!

I had been having chest pains since last year. It never hurt and they would last less than 15 seconds. We did a stress test after the procedure and got the results Wednesday. They said everything, including the stent is in perfect position, but they wanted to try something else.

Mrs Wharf was a RN when were young Lovebirds... I would get bouts of chest pains. I would say I think I'm having a heart attack and she would say that's gas. Now I say I think it gas and she would say it could be a heart attack.

At that appointment, she said could it be indigestion ??? The PA said maybe but you can try.
WELL... sure enough I've had 2 gas pains since Wednesday..... Who Knew !!!

I finally got around to making some lime-ahh-liscious. Steeping consisted of the time it took to get from the mixing area to where I had my mods [emoji3]

I mixed at 9mg (my ADV is 2mg), have it in a vapefly galaxies rdta on the simple ex squonker. Just a little difference in size between the ex and my mech [emoji16]

The galaxies rdta fits perfectly, no overhang. The coil is a 0.84 ohm 27awg kanthal.

I'll probably dilute the lime to 6mg, but it's a nice vape [emoji106]

Dee, I tend to agree with the idea that vaping helps keep the germs at bay.

Mark, the lime ah licious is a really refreshing change from my usual flavor profile...super nice for a warm weather vape.

Wharf, yes the humidity makes the heat feel like a smothering wet blanket!

And who knew that as we get older, even a fart can scare the sheet out of us  So glad all turned out well!!

No chest pains but plenty of "This is how it ends" thoughts with all the aches and pains I just went through...Still congested a bit but keeping on......

Saw the heat index was 101* and the humidity probably 100% so that's a no go for anything much outside...Had a huge pine limb speared into the ground beside the driveway...I waited until 8:45 pm and loaded it into the tractor bucket and down to the fire pile...Humidity like this and you got two choices....very early and very late so really I only got one choice....

The Lime Ahh Licious I concocted as a fill in vape not looking at it as an all day.....Pretty strong on flavor as intended.....A good and proper coil build with fresh wick and some Lime Ahh Licious was always pretty dang good IMO....Lemon Donuts concocted about the same time.....not so much....

I have to try that lime a licious. I believe I’ll have to order a couple few flavors first. Glad you guys and gals give it a thumbs up!

Vape shop is not doing well with that chain competitor being so close. I will be sad to see the day we close down, but won’t be a bit surprised. It’s 5 years for me this month and sure been a heckuva run!
I have options after this, should it happen, but I’ve really enjoyed helping people along their journey. :)

My diy days have been scarce, but you can bet I’ll return to it in a heartbeat if need be.

I’m glad all are doing well, and staying indoors in that dreadful heat for those of you down south! Drink lots of liquids!!!

Off to bed with me, vape shop in the am then settin with my oldies on Tuesday. ;)

    Gnight! Zzzzzzzz

Dang, Tracy...hate to hear about the vape shop. I'm glad you have other options, but I know how much you enjoy being a part of helping people make their lives and health better!

Finally got my chop saw out of it's box, and the blade mounted...it only took me a year to get around to doing that :blush:

Thanks Bov! Several factors come into play with the vape shop, including new ownership, which hasn’t been a good thing and I felt it from the get go. I sure have enjoyed it, you’re right about that!

Yay with that chop saw!!! Better late than never and you can put it to good use I am sure!
