Booze in e-cigarettes can affect 'vapers': Study

Thank goodness I vape red bull so I don't get drunk off mine but you alcoholics best take care! This stuff is evil I tells ya, evil! Next thing you know they will tell you that if your eliquid gives you an erection for more than four hours, call a doctor. But to paraphrase Jeff Foxworthy, if I have an erection for more than four hours, I'm calling everyone.

I like the "study" currently running on MSN that touts "E-cigarettes Don't Help Smokers Quit tobacco: Study". E-cigarettes Don't Help Smokers Quit Tobacco: Study The U.S. is chock-full of self proclaimed "experts" who know very little about anything except how to prostitute themselves for funding. The -war- against vaping rages on....

lol just read the report.... sheesh, 10 puffs of "hi content alcohol"??? what, straight Everclear??? and all this time Ive been drinking it... maybe vaping it will save me alot of money on booze..... ;) where do they find this poop?? did they even do some alcohol blood level tests to see how much was actually in the system... put a person in a room at 32F for a couple of hours and see if their dexterity drops.... no alcohol required...

The Lame Stream Media just has to get Off the Bash e-Cigarette Train.

They are starting to hit New Highs in Lows with articles like this.

"Of 31 such e-liquids obtained by the Yale researchers for their study, about one-third didn't have any measurable alcohol in them, a paper on the study noted. Almost 40 percent had 0.75 percent or less alcohol content. And another 23 percent had alcohol levels of 1 to 3 percent."

what's going on? i know plenty of vapers that purposely add alcohol to their DIY e-liquid to improve the throat hit in low MG juice. I would have-to assume the amount we vape daily would have NO effect on the central nervous system and NO negative effect on the brain/organs.

The Media is just using "Headline Hype". Knowing that Many/Most people will just read the Headlines and not the Entire Article.

Lumping All e-Cigarettes/e-Liquids into what a "Study" says about a Selected e-Cigarette/e-Liquid.

And the Fact that Most People will not Actually do the Math to compare the Amount of Alcohol that is consumed EVEN in the One e-Liquid that had a "High Level" of Alcohol with respect to 1 Hour of Time.

BTW - What the Cluck is up with Yale? Are they vying for the Coveted Prize of being the Slant King of Bad Science? Dethroning UCSF.

More like, yet another educational donation ..................... this right here should tell you, the deep pockets of BT will stop at nothing, no matter how stupid the "scientific (falsified) reports" look .............

I could care less about the lopsided WITH INTENT study or the hack job Journalistic coverage, but the Roll it the the whole FOR THE CHILDREN - Statistical Data that has no link to the study is PURE HORSE HOCKEY!

Seems we are once again under full assault. Several New Studies hitting all at once :glare:

According to Dr. Brad Rodu, in 2014 the National Institutes of Health (NIH) doled out $623 million to more than 1,000 university researchers interested in advancing its stated goal of “a world free of tobacco use.
