Reminds me of the amazing apple dumplings my mom made. Instead of pie crust it was sort of a filo dough i guess. She would soak the apples in Cider, sugar and spices. I remember her making what seemed like hundreds of these for our massive family during the holidays.

In my family we would usually put A slice of American Cheese on top of the pie, used to seem so strange when i was a kid.
Its actually really good.

My sister and I wanted to make an apple pie when we were younger. we had some crab apples and thought why not. Well they were not quite ready to be eaten yet and eating that pie was like sucking on apple and cinnamon sour patch kids. it was so tart, we had to throw it out. Not before we tricked our Dad into eating some though....

Now I'm really hungry! Sounds delicious

Apple pie is my all time favorite!! I remember when i was a kid, my mom always knew when i was having a hard day somehow. and almost everytime i had a bad day. I would get home and there was an apple pie on the table. She knew somehow that it would always cheer me up.

Mom's are the best for this reason :) Unfortunately this is why I was the overweight kid

Sounds like my kinda prank :p

When I was younger and the kids were young I used to pick up crates of Macintosh apples from the grocery store. These were all locally grown NY State Apples. I would make 3 double batches of butter pie crusts in my food processor. I would assemble all the pies with filling. I would freeze five and cook one for dessert. I would do this a couple of times per week. We always had plenty of pies in the freezer for upcoming holidays. We always enjoyed having the pie nice and warm and top it off with french vanilla ice cream. It has been about 20 years since I have done that huge task. These days it is one pie at a time. I always serve it with vanilla ice cream. It just seems naked without it.

I used to spend a lot of time at my friend's house when I was growing up, and her Mom made some, well, "interesting" things to eat that we still laugh about to this day (we'd starve before we ate her Campbell's alphabet soup meatloaf ). One day we walked in and she was crunching up a bunch of Ritz Crackers to make the "Mock Apple Pie" recipe on the back of the box. Of course, being the smart aleck kids we were, we immediately turned up our noses and went off to see if her Dad would give us a ride to the mall. When we got back, the house smelled really good and we were just hungry enough to try the pie. Although this is definitely one of the weirdest recipes I've ever seen, it actually wasn't that bad and did kind of taste like the real thing. Hmmm . . . I think a Ritz Cracker flavored e-liquid would be really interesting

Winner of our Apple Pie a la Mode flavor is 'arilosi'. Congratulations! Going to have to try a slice of american cheese on top of my next slice of apple pie. Can't say is doesn't sound weird, but I am not one to dismiss something before I give it a proper taste.

Second flavor of our Savory Flavors is Chai Tea Tornado:

» Chai Tea Tornado

This flavor was originated from a really well-crafted chai blend I acquired a few years back when I was into tea and artisan teas. The aromatics of different teas really sparked my interest in flavor and aroma chemistries. And this was probably a big influence on the approach we take as a company to flavorings at Nude Nicotine. The Chai extract is pure and unrefined, combined with a cinnamon, cream, and vanilla. This is always in my ADV rotation :)

All of my chai tea stories come from 'masala chai' - the Indian words for their black tea rather than the derivative most drink with milk. I prefer the tea black with all the spice and no cream; for those of you that haven't had it, it is worth trying!

Chai Tea, GO!

I've been restricting my posting in this thread because I don't want to take a chance at getting a juice from Jake away from someone else. I can't wait to try the strawberry banana smoothie I won!

If you don't want to include yourself for a post, just put a little note below your story. We would love to continue to have your input in this thread! Thanks for being such an active contributor Robert!

SB Smoothie should be arriving in your mailbox today :)

I first tried chai tea in Iraq, we'd always go to the coffee shop when we got a chance and tell the TCN (third country national) working to make whatever he felt was good. After a couple months of that we settled on the spiced chai tea and hot chocolate. I think what made it so good was the weird milk they used that had no expiration date, lol.

no entry, but...

Chai is one of my favorite hot drinks :) I haven't had any in quite some time, oddly San Diego doesn't usually get cold enough to warrant a hot beverage that often. My first experience with it was in High School in North Carolina. After trying it for the first time, I probably drank it every day for 3 weeks straight.

Chai Tea is my go to hot treat. Its what i mainly will order at any Coffee House. I got started on it when i was 20. I was at work and was feeling like i was getting the beginnings of the flu. I went to the Coffee Beanery and the owner gave me a small hot Chai Tea sample and said it would make me feel better. It worked~ i felt much better and i been hooked on it ever since.

I love it in vape form also. Once i purchase more, I will make it Nude Nicotine. Seeing all the care you guys place into flavor matching, has got my attention.

Hahaha foreign condensed milk always does the trick!

And our first double winner is 'OptimusPrimerib', Congratulations on winning our Chai Tea Tornado flavor! Didn't have many entries this round but we are more than happy to send two flavors to the same participant. Especially someone as active in this thread as you are Matt.

Next down the line is Coffee Cream:

Coffee-Creme-300x300.jpg

http://nudenicotine.com/?product=coffee-creme

Coffee Cream is my ALL DAY VAPE. This one never leaves my rotation and has been here since way before the Nude Nicotine brand came to be. True whole coffee distilled extract is combined with our cream chemistry for a perfect blend. I have contemplated adding vanilla, hazlenut, almond, or other flavor shots to this recipe, but it is so good on it's own I cannot justify altering it.

Obviously this flavor will open up the door for MANY more stories! I apologize about the restrictive nature that our unique flavors put on the story-telling that has been so enjoyable in this thread, but I'm sure today's Coffee Cream will yield a broader result.

My best coffee/caffeine story comes from my first undergraduate chemistry lab - our task was to decaffeinate coffee beans and crystallize the caffeine we extracted. After we had collected our samples all my friends asked me why I had such a high yield of caffeine crystals. I had three words for them - HELL YEA ESPRESSO! (I had swapped the coffee beans our lab manager gave us for some espresso beans I brought in sneakily).

Coffee cream, GO!

Coffee is huge in my family. I drink it to wake up, to unwind, to upwind, and to fall asleep. You see all those doomsday hoarders worried about ammo, and canned foods. One of my main concerns would be coffee beans.

We have a saying " never trust someone too much, that doesnt enjoy coffee".

My current Coffee vape is similiar to your blend . Coffee , sweet cream and a touch of sweet.
