Where did I say any company should break any laws?

The applications are a sucker's game. Very expensive and uncertain. It's doubtful anybody is working on one at this point. What I expect the Chinese manufacturers to do is move on. Americans have a lot of disposable income but only 4% of the world's smokers. The court said the FDA can't regulate ecigs as medicine but can regulate them as tobacco. But the rules are just as severe as if the products were medicine. I think this is another one of those times when we can all hang together or all hang separately.

Once the regulations go into effect, any company selling any product that falls under the deeming regulation that was not submitted for approval will be breaking the law.

The manufacturers who haven't got pending applications in 2 years will stop selling their products in the US. I will be amazed if any Chinese company bothers to try. 99% of companies selling ecig products are not going to attempt to comply. Virtually all the speciality vape shops will close because they can't mix their own and they can't differentiate themselves by selling unique flavors from many different suppliers. What ever is left of the ecig business will be absorbed by tobacco shops and convenience stores. That's why they love ecigs so much. They expect to own the business, what ever it turns out to be.

Nothing I use to vape will be available for sale in two years except off shore. I'll be left with what ever I own and will vape as long as that stuff lasts, assuming it's not criminalized. May be the courts or congress will come to our rescue. Time will tell. A lot of people depend on tobacco taxes. They won't give up easily.
