As soon as I will receive my order of PEEK material from eBay. I have ton of Delrin, but you don't want it. I'm willing to bet that Delrin is used in Crius clone. I'm planning to machine few PEEK insulators and place them on eBay. At how much, do you think, I should price them?

Wow, I don't know. If the entire base is available from FT for $8.80 it seems it would be hard for you to turn a profit machining the insulators....hmmmm
FT does not specify the insulator material on the replacement base though. I'm in a quandary.

I agree with you though, that delrin would work fine, as long as you don't get the pos post screaming hot by over dryburning the coils.

BTW, the STmini delrin meltdown problem was not caused by hot coils, it was caused by a loose connection which caused massive amounts of heat to be generated from arcing and voltage drop at the pos post/pos airtube junction. I could see the carbon tracks on my og STmini from arcing. Tightened things up and I'm still using it today.

Are you talking about some leaking/condenstation at the seam between the AFC and JFC? If so make sure the coils are at least as wide as the air holes on the deck. Raise the coils so they are about 3mm above the deck.

No it's inside the tank not at the AFC and JFC

Good addition to the Subtank - but I haven't been able to get a 1+ ohm build on this since I got rid of my 28g kanthal. .62 was the highest I could do with 26g and the vape is much more intense than the Subtank and runs through juice quite a bit faster.

How many wraps on what id were you able to get .62 ohm on 26 gauge? I've been trying to get higher ohms but was only successful with 28g ribbon + twisted, 2.5mm id 8 wraps .54 ohm. I would like to use my 26g SS316L wire. Thanks!

Help someone, anyone.... Pretty please.....

Has anyone used SS316L 26g, 2.5mm? Aiming for .50-.60 ish ohms. Don't know if it's possible because using Steam Engine Coiling wrapping, it saids it needs 16 wraps. I don't think it'll fit.

8 wraps on a 2.5mm gives me .54 ohms on a single coil so that sounds about right.

I don't thing so, I believe the coil will be covering the juice channels. Build one if you have enough wire and see how it fits.

From what I've seen of the black glass ones that are put together the glass is not very dark. I know what you mean though I wanted a nice dark black glass. Was gonna order the black Lemo 2 glass but read bad reviews about the coloring chipping off easily.

I'm using 3mm coils on the crius with no issues so moving up to 3mm will help get your res up. Maybe a couple less wraps than 2.5mm for the same res.
