Anybody order a replacement base from FT yet? I like this tank but would like a base with a peek insulator if possible.

I did, so I could use it as a test stand for my PEEK insulators, instead of taking my working Crius apart every time I want to make a new insulator for some body. Or, I will offer it for sale with PEEK insulator and removable (Threaded) Center Pin and Positive Post.

The PEEK material has arrived. 1 foot long, Ø3/4" for $25.00.
And I already hate it. Delrin is much better machining. All morning I was making one insulator. Not a good production strategy.

Days later and it's still working, just no bubbles. Should I be concerned?
It seems like you should be getting at least some bubbles. It may be coming from just one of the holes, it could be one of the holes facing away from you and just can't see it? I wouldn't be overly concerned if it's wicking properly and you're not getting dry hits, but it is curious....

I've checked them all while vaping. It's the weirdest thing! If not before, I'll rewick it this weekend and see if I can get it working properly. ;)

Anyone got one yet?

I got mine today.
I am very happy with it.
Imho it is a good RTA, as far as i can judge this after one emptied tank ;)

happy vaping 2 @All

btw: wicking is a little bit fumbly, there is not much space. and you can't use big coils.
but also with small coils the flavor is very good and you can produce noticable clouds, although the Crius is not a tank for cloud chasers. Imho.

Jefx how are you getting on with the clone from fasttech?, I have 3 black authentics on order from fasttech and the ceramic insulator issue has me a bit worried. Amd kudos your work is great sadly not something I could replicate but so helpful to those who can. If the clone has the good points of the Crius with none of the downsides I'll change my order as need the tanks to last a while thanks in advance for any help :).

I'm getting that "sweating" between the AFC and juice control gap. I can't remember, were there solutions for this?

I'm thinking to try a thicker o ring or something....
Yes, I remember the previous post someone said to raise the coils to 3mm off the deck/upbove the air holes. I washed my tank, dried & tried. It does work, but after some time (a week and a half or so I notice it starts to "sweat" a little again). Not much, just a quick wipe with a tissue. Maybe it means it's time to rewick?

I decided to ask fasttech to switch my authentics for a clone version just looking at the stock photos of each the clone looks better put together which is a bit of a joke really, OBS need to step up their game and while it's good they respond quickly to faults\suggestions and hurry a new version out if the quality control isn't there and they stick with ceramic when it's clearly not an ideal material to use as an insulator in this design they only have themselves to blame for the lost revenue. It's instances like this that muddy the water in the authentic vs clones debate as I have no issue with the price of the authentic but I need tanks that will work well in terms of years not weeks.

Hi I bought the crius with the velocity deck at christmas. it worked great but had a tiny bit of seepage above the afc ring, after looking at it closely i realized it was slipping down the crease just under the juice holes on the base. I decided to try to remedy this by using a very thin rubber gasket that i got from work. i had to trim it down so it would fit nicely. I cant upload image to the computer but i have it on my phone. If anyone would like to see what i did just email me at paedbo13 at hotmail dot com

Log into the site on your phone and upload it. That is how I post/read most days.

I'm waiting for my clone. Hoping it'll be better than the authentic, it certainly can't leak more...
