Hopefully he'll be getting the Cuboid review up but I'm sure it takes him forever as he breaks mods down like PBusardo on steroids.
Here's a review I posted on another thread for a pre-release Cuboid Joyetech sent me for review.
CUBOID REVIEW
It's been almost a week now testing the Cuboid APV. I really like the size and feel of this mod. It's quite small for a dual 18650 mod and feature rich, especially at <$60 US. This mod is near flawless but there is always room for a few improvements.
DISPAY: It's bright enough for indoor and shade but fades in sunlight to near unreadable. Screen resolution is suberb.
MENU SYSTEM: Similar to the VT60 but more closely resembles the VTC mini. I like how the ADJ TCR values are performed in a separate menu system but the three separate tcr values stored there are accessible from the main menu as M1, M2 and M3. Brilliant, it keeps the user from accidentally changing tcr values stored in memory while in the main menu.
MODES: Wattage Mode and VT Modes all work fine with Kanthal, NiChrome, Ni200, 316SS , 430SS, Titanium and NiFe52. The Mod never jumped out of VT Mode with any of my builds. The wide range of usable coil resistances in the VT Mode makes choosing wire guage less critical and gives me the opportunity to use up some of the extra spools of lighter gauge wire I have lying around.
510 CONNECTOR: The spring loaded brass 510 positive pin provides good pressure against atomizers and provided very stable and repeatable resistance readings. The threading is smooth but could be a little tighter. All of my atomizers wobble when threaded in until the atomizer base makes contact with the mod. The 510 connector is mounted a little low within the 22mm depression on the top of the mod and can encourage juice to migrate into the mod. An additional raised annular ring could be added midway between the 510 connector and the 22mm depression to channel the juice away from the 510 connector.
BATTERY DOOR: It works fine and I don't foresee having long term issues with it. The latching mechanism seems robust however the door is fussy to open when batteries are not installed.
BATTERY MONITOR: The battery monitors work ok but are not accurate on my sample. The left monitor always shows a smaller charge than the right even when I reverse the battery positions.
BATTERY CHARGING: Even though the manual specifically states not to charge the batteries via the usb port I tried anyway. It does charge however it only charges to 4.0v.
USB: I'm very happy to see Joyetech offer firmware upgrade ability to these newer generation of mods but I do not like the location of the USB Port. If and when Joyetech perfects series battery balanced charging and allows charging through the USB Port I would like to see the port located near the bottom of the mod.
FIRE BUTTON: It's nice. A firm click when depressed and no rattle. I like the oval shape and it never has misfired.
AESTHETICS & WEIGHT: Everyone who has seen the mod loves the look and feel and they all commented on the weight; some commenting that the weight indicates high quality, others commenting that it was heavy for it's size. I agree with both however it is no heavier than my Evic VT60 or my Rouleaux DNA200.
FIT & FINISH: The brushed finish is nice and does show finger prints a bit. The display cover shows finger prints badly (Snow Wolf-ish). The fit is way above average for its price. Nicely made.
Overall I love this mod and would have bought one had I not won one. I highly recommend this mod to vapers who would like to experience tc vaping or those who would like to take the next step with adjustable tcr.
