What did yours ohm out to? I tried duplicating your build & ending up with .15 ohm after the cotton .13 ohm. Maybe I have too much cotton, it makes the draw pretty tight, constricts the airflow, then it started leaking. Back to the drawing board lol!

If I remember correctly it was around .16

1st make sure your coils are centred vertically on top of the air flow channels allowing the air to go through from air flow holes into the coils then to the chimney & you do not need too much cotton just about enough to cover the coils.

Back to OBS Crius. The clone base has just arrived. It is equipped with PEEK insulator, not ceramic any more.

Anybody remember what size the grub screws are? I think it may have been mentioned somewhere in here but after 50+ pages, a little tougher to find. I don't "need" them right now, but I was gonna place an order in the next day or so and thought I would throw some assorted stuff in. TIA

I'm quite sure they're m2.5 x 3km.

So far, megusta on stock coils. Airflow for a tank is just insane and channels look like they can def handle max VG. Also like the drip tip quite a bit.

Out of most RTAs out, I think this is of the few that have the maximum adjustment options to really fit to your liking. Just play around and see what air draw you like best.

Got mine from FT yesterday. All good so far. No leaks. 2 fill ups.
Now the Zephyrus v2 is another story. The rba deck needed a little tweaking. Positive post was not set all the way down and was not making contact to the positive pin. Nothing a little 16oz persuader couldn't handle.

The only problem I ran into with the Authentic Obs Crius is it drinks juice like an alcoholic in Cuba. And the deck could be bigger in my opinion. Flavor and Cloud production is excellent.

I still think the Griffin is better even though the screws and soft as sheeet.

Ive tried to close down the airflow on the Crius and i think it would be too loose to get a decent mouth to lung. You would be better off getting a Kayfun or something that gets its airflow from the 510

I'm curious too if the clone base resolves the "seeping, leaking" between the JFC & AFC. When you get a chance of course.
