May I ask what gauge wire & how many wraps, ohms?I did a dual vertical build and I must say it's great. Dual SS 316L, vaping at 470F@61 watts.

I'm responding to my own post because I was wrong. There is actually a 1.27mm alien key available in China. The answer to both above questions is YES. M2.5 (standard pitch 0.45mm) and the length is 3.0mm.
And the size of the included, Chinese alien key is: 1.257mm. I think, it is their version of standard 1.3mm key, but I could be wrong.

I did it by pressing the base in a vice. Doesn't seem to work anymore though :-/For those with a gap between the jfc ring and the afc ring, I found a simple remedy.
Since the center pin is press fitted to the positive pole of the velocity deck, it causes a gap between the jfc ring and the afc ring when it becomes loose. If this does happen, just remove the deck, put in upside down on a rag (with the + and - poles facing downward), and GENTLY hammer the center pin until it becomes snug again. Problem solved.
Would that not crack the ceramic insulator? For those with a gap between the jfc ring and the afc ring, I found a simple remedy.

Is yours "new"? Mine received a new base from Wetvapes where I purchased my white one. I found that if I build it high as previously posted by someone (sorry forgot who) around 3mm off the deck. It's great & doesn't leak or seep between the afc & jfc. But when I remove the tank from the mod there will be a ring of juice on the mod. Someone posted a response to me that they don't think that can be helped.I'm liking this RTA. I've been through 2 fills without a leak. Small and light (just wish it had more capacity, then again it would not be small and light! LOL)

What color is yours? Maybe it is a "newer" version. In that case you're very lucky!Mine is 1-2 months old as it took that long on a slow boat from China to get here. LOL
I used 8 wraps spaced NiFe and wicked with 3.5mm Silica rope. I cut and stuffed the rope ends in the juice channels. My coils are centered between the top and bottom wire capture holes and the two posts.

I suppose all tanks can have juice ooze out the channels, onto the deck and into (and out) the air holes. An over saturated wick might drip onto the deck and into the air flow holes.
On this one, I like the ability to remove the deck without draining the tank. Having the juice channels as they are makes it nice and tidy to stuff the ends of the wick in them.
Oddly since I seem to only see air bubbles coming from one juice hole I pulled the deck during the last refill and all 4 legs (and portions in the coils) were a nice translucent color indicating full saturation of juice.
If my testing continues to be positive I may pick up more of these. I like the top/side fill, air flow and style of build deck on this one. (BTW: no rings or otherwise of juice on the mod noticed)
Oh and seems the seepage gets worse after maybe 5 to 7 days. I figure it's the cotton aging, so I rebuild if it gets a little more noticeable.
They didn't label them as any version. If it is velocity style and has larger post holes it is the v3. Guess I'm old school using Japanese cotton still. But in the long run I use sweet juices that tend to gunk coils faster. So somewhere in my head a little voice says it's cheaper using cotton if my coils will gunk regardless.Seepage? Cotton... (sigh) I used Silica rope, it lasts forever. (I just stuffed the 3.5mm rope ends into the 4 holes on the deck)
I have a Black v2 or v3 I guess. Top fill, air and juice control (while I'm doubting the latter, it seems to work), two post deck. I'd have to go round up the box to see what version I have. I'm very happy with it.
Yeah the disease of shinyitis lol got me too lol! Where do you sell your surplus?Wow somehow I lost track of my thread lol. Glad to see folks still enjoying the Crius. My black v3 is still in daily rotation but I sold my white one. I have shinyitis and buy way too much so I have to offset by selling on occasion.
The ring on your mod, I still have this issue but it is a very miniscule amount. I feel it is condensation drainage more than leakage. I guess since I've had it so long wicking it seems a snap compared to some of my other rta's. I still build 2.5 coils and flip the rod around and check my coils are roughly 2.5 above the airflow holes.
That's my thought too. Rebuilding & rewicking does seem to help.Oh and seems the seepage gets worse after maybe 5 to 7 days. I figure it's the cotton aging, so I rebuild if it gets a little more noticeable.
Should be version 3 but I think with the later productions perhaps they tweaked it.Seepage? Cotton... (sigh) I used Silica rope, it lasts forever. (I just stuffed the 3.5mm rope ends into the 4 holes on the deck)

That's the main reason I go to vape shops lol. Yeah I try new juices too but... sold my Crius to a kid who only used rda's and he loves it. Gotta go Friday to one to take one of the employees my zephyrus v1. I could probably make more on the classies or letgo CL etc.... I like to think I'm teaching some of these younger folks there is much more to this "hobby" than clouds. I'm amazed at how poorly even a lot of the employees build their rda's etc since they are only concerned with clouds. I sat down for an hour last weekend helping a guy build an rta without shorting it or dry hitting with proper wicking. Anyway lol...Yeah the disease of shinyitis lol got me too lol! Where do you sell your surplus?
