Looks interesting. And a bit weird. I would really like to take a closer look at the deck though.

looks like reverse post less design. I think it serves the purpose of easily trimming the coil legs instead of pre-cutting them. IMO a bit of a fail a velocity deck is more than fine..

That's a hanged man deck. Coil leads are installed pointing up into terminal screws on the cross member of a T.

I still don't know, whether I like that design or not. Ease of building on it isn't my biggest concern however.
I'm more interested in how it affects the flavor. Does it obstruct the draw, so that flavor decreases, or does it reduce the chamber to intensify it?
But considering the flavorperformance of past OBS tanks, I hope it's the latter.

I would hope it's better since the other Engine RTA's are mediocre on flavor. They have other positives such as no leaking and easy to fill, but a flavor chaser, they are not. Just my opinion. I know they have a huge fan base and I am in the minority about this. Hopefully this will be a big improvement in flavor.

When it comes to flavor, a well designed straight bottom or side airflow RTA always beats an equally well designed top airflow atty.

It’s difficult to get a good look at the deck from the one side picture of it. Would love to see more.

thats.... different. have to say, if it wicks ok and the airflow is as good as the previous one, maybe. i dunno though, would like to see it up close and test the flavor.

Meh...looks like they are trying to solve a problem that doesn't exist by over engineering. Too complicated to build on IMO. I'll stick with my Engine Mini that gives me the best flavor I have ever had from any RTA.

I'm buying it. The af is much improved and the build/wick is relatively simple. The original Engine was a disappointment for me, flavor was lacking imo. Hoping for a Nano II as well.

I'll probably get one too, because it ticks nearly all my boxes.
That deck seems to be a pita, but I enjoy a challenge now and then.
